Current canons: none *shifty eyes* I'm serious. Oh the shifty eyes? That's just paranoia.
Canon you're auditioning for: Axel, the burnt toast loving arsonist who deals in burning orphanages to the ground (Ansem Retort's fault, they forced him to do that gig).
Media canon is from: COM, KH2, *cough*Ansem Retort*cough*
Is the current canon taken?: Nope, that would be good. Not only does that mean I have no worries yet about him, but that no one else is interested in being a pyro with an excuse to be an emotionless killer.
Audition post (400 words):
Thud thud thud. The cliche sound of boots hitting a rather hard surface could be heard off in the distance. Not that it mattered to him just yet. If it was a threat, he'd do what he does best. He'd act like he was throwing a tantrum and beat the crap out of whatever it was that was lurking ever closer to him. OR he'd act all friendly and nice, only to backstab the being when the thing, whatever it was least expected it. All he knew was that it was neither Nobody, nor human. He had a rather discreet feeling that this thing wasn't Heartless either, but they had more forms than he had ever seen, and some more fierce than others. All he knew was that this thing, like the Heartless, was of the darkness, yet at the same time, it wasn't. It had instincts yes, but it also seemed to have the capabilities of a Nobody, which was slightly odd. All he knew was that every time he got close to it, his memories began wigging out on him, for lack of a better way to describe the unusual yet frightening feeling that came over him earlier this night. Well it wasn't really frightening, nor was it a feeling, but that would be the best way to describe what was going on with him. He wondered if the others would care if this thing destroyed him, after all, he betrayed them on more than one occasion. First he defeated one merely because he defied the wishes of two other fellow members of their little group. Then there was the whole ditching them to try and get Roxas back, by any means, even though it jepordized their plans to make Kingdom Hearts. Not like they succeeded anyways. They were stopped by someone that if he had left to the Dusks, would've been defeated. That was in his eyes, probably what they believed to be the biggest betrayal of all. Not that he care at all, feelings or no. Roxas, or rather Sora now, was the only person he truly felt like he had a heart around, the only person he called a friend. The other members of that little group were just others who wished to achieve the same goal. Axel wouldn't go back to them now, no. That would only spell disaster for him. Then again, they might not be reforming. After all, a group full of traitors isn't likely to last long anyways. Axel would focus on getting out of this alive, and without his memories wigging out anymore. Then he would seek out Roxas, he would seek out Sora, and he would join their cause, whatever it may be. Axel didn't care. They could've gone all bad guy on him and as long as that feeling of having a heart remained, he would stick around. Suddenly Axel's memories began going fuzzy. He turned around, and there that thing was. He had no way to describe it, as it was completely covered in a white cloak. Axel called forth his weapons.
"I don't really like you messing with my memories. So if you don't stop, well then, I'll just have to DESTROY YOU!" Axel was furious by this point, well he would've been had he still held onto his heart. Axel threw one of his weapons at this creature, then disappeared into a portal. He reappeared behind the thing, slashed with his other weapon. He then caught his other chakram. He jumped back.
He cried out, and a circle wall of fire surrounded the two of them. Then the ground turned to lava. Axel jumped into the flame walls, then after a few moments, a flaming chakram flew at his opponent. It grazed his opponent. A few minutes later, Axel appeared behind the creature and hit it three times with his flaming chakram. The being spun around and knocked him back, disappating the flame walls and floor. Axel landed on facedown, and turned onto his back to see the creature going to strike. Suddenly it stopped.
"Hurry Axel! There's not much time. Leave this place!" a voice said, seeming to come from nowhere.
Axel crawled out from underneath this monster, this abomination. He laughed.
"It's a good thing the old man was here to stop it, whatever that thing is. Then again this is his realm." Axel paused.
"Time to BURN!" Axel yelled as he swung his flaming chakram at his opponent. But before he could hit it, the being vanished without a trace, leaving no clues as to what it was, or where it came from. Axel laughed once more.
"The guys back home would never let me hear the end of this if they found out. Fortunately for me, Xemnas' little puppy dog Saïx, and that idiot Marluxia weren't here. Otherwise, I'd be burnt toast." Axel held out his hand, and opened a portal into a realm of nothingness. He began walking towards it. He stopped for just a moment.
"Where should I go next? It doesn't help that no-one knows where Roxas or Sora are now. Oh well," Axel sighed. "It's part of the adventure I guess." He then walked into the portal, and it closed behind him, leaving a little cloud of darkness behind that disappated after a few moments. Only someone really skilled in tracking darkness would be able to follow Axel's "scent" across the worlds, and whatever that thing was, it had no troubles finding him.
