Audition post (400 words):
"Listen to my story. This...may be our last chance."
"Huff...huff....huff."
A dirty blond youth is seen running down an alleyway in between two destroyed buildings. As he exits the alley Tidus stops for a moment and looks around looking to see if anyone was around as though he doesn't want to be spotted by someone or something. Tidus then sprints off heading towards the beach.
It had been only two days and the attack by the Anti-forms ha already done so much destruction to Destiny Islands. Sora and Riku were nowhere to be found but it wasn't like Tidus had been relying on them to come to the rescue. He wasn't some pushover kid anymore, he was a man. With them gone Tidus had to step up to the plate and defend his world from the darkness. It wasn't an easy task since he didn't have a Keyblade like Sora and Riku did but he managed. And with Wakka covering his back the two managed to save alot of the townsfolk before the Anti-Forms could get to them.
From behind him a loud whizzing sound could be heard getting louder and louder. Tidus turned his head to see a large boulder heading straight towards him. You could see a small grin on his face as the boulder could be seen in the reflection of his blue eyes coming closer towards him. He continued to run, his muscles tensing up and then Tidus jumped into the air full force. A small cloud of dust was left behind.
"Here goes nothing."
Pushing himself backwards he raised his right foot up while his body did a back flip. He kept his sights on the boulder never taking his eyes off it. Just as the boulder was about to come in contact with him Tidus kicked it sending it hurdling towards the ground smashing it when it hit the ground.
"Yeah!" Tidus shouted out as he safely landed on the ground. He was being a bit cocky but thats Tidus for you. He continued to run towards the beach.
He finally reached the beach running on the deck. He stopped to catch his breath. He spotted a large red and yellow chest near the edge and went over to it and opened it. A bright smile appeared on his face as he took out a blue sword from the chest.
"Selphie you are a life saver." Tidus said to himself as he raised the sword up into the air. But before he could celebrate Tidus was surrounded by the Anti-Forms. There were about half a dozen each one of them more gruesome than the last.
With a sly, confident smile on his face Tidus drew his sword and took an attack stance. Confident in his sword abilities Tidus showed no fear. If Sora and Riku could be heroes the so could he. In fact he would be an even better hero than those two.
"Alright which one of you cuties wants to be first?" He said in a cheerful yet serious tone of voice. He motioned the Anti-Forms to come at him. Tidus could tell this was going to be one fight he may not come out on top. It made the fight that much more exhilarating.
