I am becoming progressively busier and being forced to make choices that I must act on, so there comes that time once again that I must say that my activity that is already lacking will be very lacking. College and moving will demand a lot of my time, on top of my slowly but surely budding writing career. No not the fanfic for Twilight, an actual novel I want to get finished and published in a year or so.

If for some reason I do not return for a while, I want to leave everyone on here with something I feel is important. I've forgotten how many years I've been doing this, a lot of friends along the way, countless characters, etc, and I realize that I have been keeping it going because I love to RP and write. Plain and simple. Role-playing is a good step for trying to write, it's not real writing, but it's a good step. I think I've progressed as a writer, RP has helped, but the people and experiences I've met and been through did more. Maybe I'm a sub-par writer, but I've met a lot of folks I treasure. Plain and simple, Rping is a wonderful way to meet people, that is infinitely more important than trying to become a better writer.

So...don't stop Rping, no matter what anyone tells you or wherever your life takes you. Be creative, take the time, let it be fun. Don't take writing too seriously, honestly, take breaks. Value the people you meet. Please if you do nothing else, remember them and talk to them.


...that was heartfelt....and odd. Don't expect me ever to do it again. Well, I bid my normal activity time adieu, see you all every other month. =D (or sooner, or later.)

Eh, well judging from you being very inactive I thought something might be amiss. So in any case contact me about that novel you've been writing. I'd rather like to read it if you manage to get it published. Now onto the real news.

Anyway. A novel? Cool. How can you do that? I've never managed to stick to an idea for a novel for longer than a chapter. How do you?

After this....eh, don't expect much from me for a long time. I can say this much, besides college and moving, I'm doing a ton of reading and research for my writing. I'll continue to update A Blip of Time, which you'll find in the literature board, just not actively on here. I just need time to actually write the fanfic. (college wasn't made for you to multi-task sadly)

By the way...publishing is not fun. If you want to be a writer or maybe author is the word you prefer, START LEARNING ABOUT THE PROCESS NOW. That's the only way you'll have a chance at getting an agent's attention and then moving up the ladder. I'm still months away from writing a proposal/quire. =/
