Just until... Monday.
I'm going to a music festival for the weekend; Reading Festival if anyone fancies looking it up. I'll be seeing; "Queens of the Stone Age", "Rage Against The Machine", "The Killers", "The Raconteurs", "Feeder", "Tenacious D" and "Metallica"... to name a few.
"Slipknot" were down to play, but they unfortunately pulled out because Joey (the drummer) has broken his ankle and can't perform. They've cancelled along with several other concerts they were supposed to do. As a Slipknot fan, I'm... depressed. But, the other awesome bands will still be... awesome.
So yeah, I'll be off tonight and back on Monday... so I'll be absent from moderating duties and online as a whole, just so you know (aimed at Avenger/Simba/Iris/Memories/Kempff as staff more than anyone else).
Adios.

Have fun, Medy. We'll try and get along without you, but don't be surprised if we've slipped into hopeless chaos in your absence either.

Wait...even if the drummer broke his ankle is that really an excuse? All he has to do is sit down and...drum. He can simply use his other foot for the foot pedal thingy. Ah, well I've heard worse excuses. I like three of the bands you are seeing so be sure to have a good time. I'll just do all the profiles! Damn you Kempff and Medy!!

Yawn, well I'm back. The entire festival was absolutely bitching, although a few bands were disappointing.
Metallica, Rage Against The Machine, Manic Street Preachers and Tenacious D were all the best performances of the weekend. The Killers disappointed... big time. The sound was poor so you couldn't hear them even near the front and they were pretty boring (so I watched Manic Street Preachers instead). There were also a load of smaller bands and comedians that caught my eye.
I'd be typing for hours if I spoke about the entire thing though, so I'll leave it there.
