Just because I found this out yesterday, and found it interesting in RP aspects.
The next time you want to create a character that can move at the speed of light, consider this:
It would take ALL the energy on earth for a week to make a bowling ball go 99.9% the speed of light.
What does that mean for you? It'd take all the energy on earth for a few months for a human to go that fast.

When did logic and real life science ever apply to Fantasy Fiction? o.o

I love this, so what if in games you can do all this crap. In forums, logic must be preserved so god modding is prevented.

When did logic and real life science ever apply to Fantasy Fiction? o.o Well, it wasn't like I was meaning it entirely seriously, but still. xD It was mostly to point out some things that are rather funny; like how on some lenient forums you are allowed to go the speed of light, but you aren't able to wield powers as destructive as a nuke. Think about it. If you can move at the speed of light, you're using more energy than all the bombs on the planet (nukes included!) exploding at once. If you ran at the speed of light, you could screw with the rotation and axis of Earth...at the very least. Think about it this way. If you were to run through a city at the speed of light, the sonicboom would not only cause a deadly shockwave and totally ruin your eardrums, the air would push the left and right side of the city inward so fast that it'd totally pancake the entire city vertically.

Tell that to Superman.

Running at the speed of light would also incorporate another godmoding ability: Invisibility. Light particles wouldn't be able to reach the human body if the human was moving just as fast as the light.

Ehhh....Invisibility is godmodding? I personally don't think so o.o Heck, there's an item in the shop that sells invisibility.

I thought FM didn't allow invisibility as an ability. *Shrugs*

Get this:
It's impossible to lick your elbow.
And upon reading that, 75% of all readers have attempted to do so.

I'm the one who told you that it's only under ideal conditions, if I remember correctly. In fact, those are my exact words. ;3
And light speed movement for ANYTHING with mass is not actually possible. Because light comes in photons, packets of super-dense energy, which is much lighter than matter, which is basically MEGA-dense energy, it's lighter than any matter could ever possibly be. Which takes more energy to move, the light thing or the heavy thing? ;P
