Alright. First things first, I am getting very sick of all the complaints that Easley's too strong. While I agree that he is a strong character (That was my intention from the start) I believe it is not unjustly so. So, to stop further annoyances, I will show you the weaknesses inherent that people apparently couldn't think up for themselves.
-weaknesses removed-
Try matching him up against the likes of Hero's Leon, it's a more even fight. Easley can't slice Leon to pieces with wires due to Leon's defenses, he could probably give a gash or two though...That is, if he can hit; Leon has an ability for superior reaction rates (A thing the dear FN leader did NOT have), so dodging the wires isn't out of the question. Leon also has that giant light sword that, while isn't effective on Easley, could swat away his wires like they were flies with its large surface and the fact its lightweight. In short, if you match Easley up with a character in his league, you'd notice he wasn't so ridiculously overpowered as to warrant all your complaints.
Before making my character, I HAD sent the weapon + abilities all to Tempest to ensure that I was within acceptable boundaries just to avoid situations like this. It really is bothersome. He accepted them all save one (One that I no longer have). The staff are human too, I suppose, so they're allowed change of hearts, as inconvenient as it is.
Any objections? Anything to add? This thread is your last chance to say anything, after which I refuse to listen to any more complaints. Use your own brains to figure out weak points next time. Seriously, I am tired of it. This had better be the end of it.

Well there's no reason anyone should be complaining to you since you weren't the one who approved and accepted these abilities. I would like any complaints on his strengths to come back to me in this thread. Honestly I never saw anything completely unreasonable in his character. By the way, don't mention anything about him killing twi's character. It was bound to happen, that some poor bloke would be killed. Seriously, any further mentions and I will just ignore you altogether. You guys seem to make Easley out to be far stronger than he actually is.

Here's my rather insignificant two cents...
I had in fact heard some comments about how "over-powered" Easley was, and I was rather shocked that Sen was put into such a situation. But after looking at it from a more objective viewpoint, I saw Easley as not an over-powered character, but rather a well-built character.
So instead of objections, bravo. You've created one of the most finely crafted battle RP characters on this forum.

You referrin' to that chat aleX and I had in the chatbox late last night? (for me, anyway)
Heavily armored characters are out of style, man, out of style. Evading everything and heavy reliance on abilities is the way to go!

I agree with you Zero, after reading your character, and after reading this I can see why you would be mad. As aleX said, he is a well-built character, one capable of fighting better than a lot of others on the forum. And I too say good job on making such a character. If one of my characters were to fight him and lose, well then I'd say a fight well fought, shake your hand and get on with it. It's not like I can't flee before he dies, or you know, make the thread (or arena match if that's the case) AU so that if he dies there he is still technically alive.
And since this is happening with another person's character, I believe I shall mention it here. I think his name is Angelus.
The ability is such:
Single Strike: Angelus uses his crimson red aura to turn his eyes turn crimson red. If his opponent(s) look into his eyes, their surroundings become crimson red, even though the surroundings in reality remain the same. Then Angelus strikes from the shadows, but only once, and always an arm or leg, never at a vital spot. And usually when he hits an arm or leg, it is a deep wound, but it is still attached to the person it belongs to. [Angelus can only use this twice in a fight, it lasts for two posts.]
My arguments that it is indeed a fair ability:
Don't ya think that if a mod thought it unfair, they would've said something? Plus if you start getting suspicious as Fenix's character did..... wouldn't you want to keep an eye on his hands and feet to make sure he doesn't attack you? Instead of looking them in the eyes, because most fights I've ever been in (rp wise or not, and I'm not saying this happens to everyone), you couldn't always tell when someone was going to attack by looking at their eyes, but you could when looking at their hands and feet. It is very easy to keep a straight face (or whatever look you have that doesn't indicate anger, violence and the like) while in a fight, thus making it hard for your opponent to read when you're going to attack (again, I'd like to say this isn't always the case, but most of my experience fighting has been like this). [/size]

To add to what Discord said about my character's eye ability. This is from an organization rp, though I'm not indicating any plans or anything else.
Zander tipped his hat at Sephiroth, indicating a sign of respect.
"He has a rather annoying attack too, one I'd watch out for. Never look him directly in the eyes. Because if you do and they're crimson red, you're going to get a nasty little cut or two, though they won't be fatal, or dismembering in any way."
Tempest posted in that thread shortly after I said this, and said nothing about this little ability being unfair or godmoddish.

Why are people complaining about a character that had apparently been given some time to be well thought out? If you die you die just learn not to make the same mistake again if you encounter this person again in the future thats how you become a better fighter rp wise. You just have to take a good look at what someone writes and come up with a way to counter it.

Good, I thank you for your opinions. Since nobody seems to be raising a point against this, then I consider this case closed.
I do not want to hear about this issue again. I would like a mod to lock this thread now, please.

Seeing as this is the spam board, I have my right to go completely off-topic, and be totally unfair, irrational, among many other things. I will now embrace this right, full force.
