Eh...bye. I figured this would happen. I don't particularly like how you waited till now when many of us are already leaving, but its your decision. I won't be leaving anytime soon unless the baby gets kidnapped by, Jareth and I have to go all the way through the Labyrinth to get her back. I suspect few of the little ones get the reference, but screw em'. Ciao!

When Angelus told me about this, I wasn't sure what to think. I mean I didn't know ya, but I was rping with you. That kinda screwed things over. But do what you got to do. Life comes first mate. BTW, regardless of whether or not I'm made staff, I'd be glad to help Iris and DW out if they need it.

Okay, I'm rather surprised at the least to find this thread, I mean this was something I wasn't expecting.
All the same I do understand your decision, I mean looking at it you chose the right thing. Given the choices between life and roleplaying, I would have done the same thing. I see nothing wrong with choosing life over anything else. I respect your decision and understand why you left the forum.
The only thing I"m wary of is leaving the forum in the hands of two staff members who have to stay and pick up the pieces, try to get the site smoothly running. Sure, it'll be a challenge, but I am almost certain that they can handle. I mean, it might take some time but I have no doubt that they won't be able to do it.
And despite the fact that I'm almost positive they've probably had a million people say the same thing, I'd be more then willing to help with the site any way I can  So if you guys need any help with the site, I'm always open, just let me know what I can do to help.
And Grey, I wish you the best of luck with the life ahead of you. I hope you and your girlfriend have a happy life together

I feel sad being left out...I'm staff too guys...*cries*. Though in all honesty I came back to slap down a nice little idea. How bout' ya'll move the discussion of succession from here to a nice little thread in the suggestion board? I'd prefer we do not discuss these matters in a thread meant to bid farewell to a fellow member.

I never thought that this would happen. 0_o I have known you for like....almost 3 years. Heck, we even had that 'noob' rp together. I admit; We haven't 'talked' to each other much for a while...but still.>.>....However, like everyone here: I respect your desicion. I'm not really sure how much I can help out with the forum[ due to my lack of activity] but I'll try my best.

You know, one thing I would like to add though is that it's possible to balance life with roleplaying. Though, I guess it depends on who you are personally.
I wouldn't suggest giving it up entirely, I mean I've never roleplayed with you, but from what I've read you are an amazing roleplayer. You have a way with words that not a lot of others really do have. You do a great job. I know it's hard but it might be harder just giving it up.
Though, I still stand by my original post. I respect you for the decision that you made

Remember, Shane, he's saying that he's hit his glass ceiling and DISLIKES RPing now. It's not so much that he lacks the time. I haven't roleplayed seriously in like two years, I know what it feels like. I want to, but I'm simply REVOLTED by the prospect.

Unfortunately, Tempest, I can't have the same strength the others have. An FM without Tempest is not FM.
I'm sorry to the other staff but in the end I cannot trust you (especially DW knowing his schedule) to keep this site going.

No if he doesn't have faith in the staff I'd prefer that he leaves. There was no surprise in Avenger's final farewell so I hope most of you could tell this was going to happen from the blatantly obvious signs. In fact I'll go out on a whim and say that, Avenger hadn't done extremely important with the site for over a month aside from altering the Profile Template. If you've continued to post and contribute to the activity of the site without him guiding you all the way like a child then I fail to see why there would be any reason for someone to leave.
Damn that was hypocritical, but I suppose it was inevitable.
