The quiet streets of Twilight Town belied the frightening feeling of anticipation that filled the small village. A feeling like this had not been felt by any of the innocent residents since the Heartless had been mostly destroyed by Sora and his companions almost a whole year ago. The potions shopkeeper shivered as a chill eerily thrilled down her spine, and glanced around before she she finished closing her store for the night. Nothing dangerous could be seen, but it seemed as though the night were concealing something monstrous. Something unexpected... and unwanted. A few lights were turned off around town as more citizens went to bed, wisely locking their doors and closing their windows. A stillness settled across Twilight Town as the darkness of night settled comfortably across the houses and shops. All seemed to dim completely before falling into a mode of stasis. Like the calm before a storm.

The object rapidly descending from the onyx sky high above was neither a falling star, nor a comet. A brightly colored gummi ship dove past the train station, whipping around to a gliding stop as it hovered over the silent town. The diminutive ship looked neither like a warship nor a luxury craft. It was just a simple exploratory gummi ship, completely bereft of any weapons of any sort at all. It hovered uncertainly for a second before slowly floating down toward the empty lot in front of the station, the landing gear opening out to receive a gentle landing. The cabin was very dimly lit, and the only thing visible was the hazy outline of the pilot, peering out of the window to see the ground below.

The landing was easily executed, and followed shortly by complete silence as the craft shut down, the hum of the motor dying into a well-deserved rest. Nothing happened for a couple minutes as movement ensued within. Soon, when the cockpit slid aside, a platinum-blond girl climbed out. She looked around interestedly at the somber surroundings before holding her hand out and opening it, palm up. The stone in her hand looked pale in the moonlight, but was otherwise inconspicuous. The girl pondered the strange feeling she had felt since entering this world as she started to close her fist on the orb, to return it to the pouch in her jacket. A chill wind blew slowly past as the stars winked quietly. Suddenly, the young traveler jumped back somewhat, surprised.

The stone began to glow.

Okay, so I want to begin a quest. It will be mostly a character development odyssey filled with plenty of side quests and acts of heroically daring-do. I want to gather a complete party, or at least the beginnings of a party for this quest, so I need at least two other characters to begin. Characters of every class and alignment are welcome to join as part of the group. I don't know how well an evil character would mesh cooperatively with the good guys, but it's been done before.

So bring your personal character plots, or else we'll develop one on the way! This is certainly freeform, so anything within reason is possible. If anything, the side quests will be interesting, and we can hopefully have a few antagonistic characters sign up to fight.

Why do you want to join? Honestly to get Neo a bit more well known and plus there always needs to be a badass futureistic soldier in every good party

Why do you want to join? Because personal plot and character development and purpose and....*rambles on* ...sounds rad. Plus, Jude's a sweetheart with a half formed mission, looking to start an adventure of a lifetime.

Awesome, we have reached the minimum.

We could use a couple more, though. We have two defenders already, so another warrior, a healer, or mage would be readily accepted. ;D

I'm gonna start the roleplay officially tonight, and I'll leave the roster open for one each of the above classes ONLY.

Why do you want to join? Joseph seems like he would be better fitted for this

Does your character have a particular plot? Yes sorta id like to expand on it though.

If so, give a summary of your plot: Joseph is searching to destroy his, presumably, anti-form: Exodus thinking that he can find whomever summoned him and stop their evil once and for all. He has no idea how to find him but he knows that demon is drawn to by Joseph's unique time powers. It is later revealed that Joseph starts to form connections with others and if he stays on the path of light and manages to help those people achieve a brighter future, his sword, "The Edge of Time" grows stronger with the positive energy and influences Joseph making him lighter causing Exodus to become more dark by absorbing the darkness of the bad futures that could have been . If Joseph uses his powers selfishly or brutally to others his sword absorbs the negative energy caused by the darkness of the connected persons future and turns Joseph more dark if he absorbs enough of the dark energy he becomes twisted and corrupted and Exodus turns into a light being.

Alright, that leaves two spots open. Warrior and Healer...

Obviously, for now, if you want to be on the roster but not actively in a quest thread yet, that's cool. I think we should limit it to at most four, maybe five characters per thread with occasional split ups into separate side-threads that tie in with the thread before it, and we can continue on in that fashion.

Like, if Joseph had to do something important, he and somebody else could go off and take care of that in another thread while the rest of the group continues on, meeting a new character or whatever.

Of course, in the case of an epic battle, I think we should be allowed to issue some sort of magically contrived full party summons. [That's where you villainous characters come in!]
