Final Mix...

You know, even now as I say the name, I remember what this forum first was meant to be. A statement of change. What needed to be fixed on KHRPF...a forum that was built for the advanced roleplayers, built on nothing more than the revolutionary spirit of Avenger, for those who still remember who he is. It was a forum among forums, with a plot that couldn't be topped...

...and it died.

Months went by, and as I spent my time at KHRPF, it just wasn't the same. I missed the community and the great fun we all had. I really wanted Final Mix to come back, but I knew that it would never happen.

Then, suddenly, I find myself in an AIM chat with both Zero and Avenger. I didn't know what to expect, but when I heard that Final Mix was 'hypothetically' coming back, I really didn't know what to say. I was even more dumbfounded when I discovered I was to be a new Global Moderator there. Needless to say, I helped the two build the forum back up. It was a lot of fun helping rebuild Final Mix from the ground up...and the run that Zero, myself, and Avenger had was unbelievable.

When Iris and myself found the reigns of Final Mix at our feet...I had the same feeling. Shocked, dumbfounded, a little scared, and ready to help.

Where does the time go...

Looking around at the forum, I really can't believe what Iris has done with it. Everything is so...new looking. It's a completely new forum than the revolutionary split-up between KHRPF and Final Mix. It's...so much more now, and thinking that I helped to create this forum is a feeling that's rather hard to describe.

But...I'm afraid I can help Final Mix no more.

While I've always loved Final Mix...KHRPF is a roleplaying home to me. With my time cut as short as it is, I hardly have the time to manage one roleplaying forum, let alone staff two of them. Yes, this is my final good-bye as administrator of Final Mix. I apologize to all of you for my lack of activity, but my reasons are my own. I tried to build this up from the ground up again so many times...but Iris has done a much better job. I wish we could've both shared in the resurrection of Final Mix, but I think it's better this way.

The new template I have been promising for so long is finally finished, as my last hurrah on Final Mix. No, I'm not permanently leaving. I'll still lurk around on the forum a bit, and maybe even come back and roleplay a bit here once time clears up. However, before I step down from my throne as administrator, there are a few people I'd like to say a few words to, whether they're here or not:

Without you, none of us would be here. I hope your life outside of Proboards is a great one.

Zero

You...I can't even describe you. Man, some of our conversations that we had have been the craziest, most offensive things I have ever read in my entire life. Me calling you a flamer, you calling me various other names...good times. Thanks for convincing Avenger to build this forum back up from the ground.

You've been the one person that I could talk to you about anything. Honestly, I don't know how I would've survived Final Mix if you weren't randomly on MSN and Final Mix to talk to. Thank you.

Wow...I was just thinking about you just a few minutes ago only to refresh the page and find this.

I'm speechless...

I mean there's so much I could say. Like the fact that when FM came back a second time around, I was slightly surprised to find you were a Global Moderator for the new FM. Not so shocked because I knew you would be a great staff member. You would help FM in any way you could possibly think to do so. You were always a very active member and always seemed willing to jump in to a roleplay with canon characters like Simba and with original characters like Kylon (gosh I miss him so much...) Needless to say you were a great staff member. You did everything that you could for the site.

I'm a bit shocked to find that you're stepping now from an admin, but I can understand it. Sometimes it is hard and challenging to have to run two sites at one time. That much I'm sure everyone can understand. Not to mention I'm sure you do have a life outside of the site, and really that does take priority over everything else.

I just hope you don't disappear completely. FM won't be the same without having you around, even if it is just for a few minutes at a time. So I'm glad that you're at least going to lurk around.

Gah, I remember talking with you on aim and msn. We haven't talked in awhile. As well as roleplayed. I guess I just don't have the same will to roleplay as I used to. But, I've missed roleplaying with Nala. We never did finish our rp.
