Death and destruction ravaged the once peaceful Earth, brought on by two men’s desires for the opposing extremes: One man fighting for Justice, the other for Chaos. What was it, then, that could end such a fierce struggle, such a fierce battle between two men, who have proven themselves both to be the best of the best? Certainly not a third party, seeking from both the Vengeance he has lived for. In the midst of the war between Shinigami and Arrancar, the small-numbering Vizard stepped in, turning the war into a downwards spiral of destruction, further ravaging the planet they fought on, a planet innocent and ignorant to what was going on. It was only the arrival of the Shinigami King that halted the violence.
A limiter placed on the survivors of the war, both seated officers in the Gotei 13 and Arrancar and Vizard criminals, they were banished to Earth, and the Zero Division stepped in to take up the new generation of the Gotei 13. Former enemies, comrades and acquaintances were forced to share a home under the guidance of one Urahara Kisuke, and both the forces of Hueco Mundo and Soul Society rebuilt themselves, readying themselves for the next contest, the next clash of powers. And with the banished participants of the last war seeking a way out of the limiter placed upon them, one thing had become apparent:
