Stephanie Meyer?
Yeah, it's Dan Brown in a wig. That's it really. I was almost fooled by the complete lack of cryptology use in 'Twilight', but I couldn't help but notice that he forgot to leave out his inability to use a range of vocabulary... without throwing in a randomly placed word to remind us that he does actually possess one. I guess I found that mildly amusing when I attempted to read his books.
I could go on for a while and launch a scathing assault on Dan Brown, but I'll refrain, lol.

I havent read that many books lately...I need to read more.
- Philip Pullman's Dark Materials: I enjoyed these books. The Subtle Knife was the best, imo.
- Citizen Vince by Jess Walter: Pretty good book but I only read it because I had to to pass English 201. Had an awesome paragraph about if bras where sexy or not xD.
- Mr. Murder by Dean Koontz: Goodness I loved this one.
- Midnight by Dean Koontz: aww I've read this one a few times.
- Velocity by Dean Koontz: read this one a few times too.
- What to Expect When You're Expecting by Lots of People: it was...informational...
bet you cant guess who my favorite author is...

The 'His Dark Materials' was like...scarring to me as littlie. Not that I'm against the whole "everyone dies" thing (it's actually preferred) but sheesh, talk about a no hope ending. It was one of those things were things got worse, and then you briefly thought it was going to get better, and then things got worse instead. And then everyone died. ( )

Yes, it was a bit much but I did find them enjoyable. And it was nice to have that for an ending opposed to the whole everyone lives such happy lives and no one dies.

No Kempff she isn't. She doesn't have a significant other to speak of.

No, we shall not.
I recently finished reading a documentary called "Hyperspace" by Michio Kaku. Pretty cool.

Books, afraid not much recently. I often re-read Jane Yolen's- The Wild Hunt. If anyone can find it, you spent your time well. It and Poe are the reasons I got interested in writing as a wee child. I'll blame my poorness later in life on them both. Now short stories....wow. Dozens honestly. A thread could be dedicated to them.
