Personality: [Here, you will show what your character is like through his or her actions and emotions. How does your character act? What are they like around others? What are his or her goals? Basic questions that will give a great amount of depth to your character.]
Overall, Yuna is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. However, when Yuna is around other people, she is very shy and modest. If she is around anyone she doesn’t know, she’ll just give them a very friendly smile and speak as little as she can. Usually, she is held in high esteem, so it’s hard for her to encounter strangers. They will often speak of her and how she should be proud of what she did, but she can’t talk highly of herself. She often just melds into the crowd whenever she can, attracting as little attention to herself as she possibly can.
When she’s among her friends or alone, Yuna is not moch different. Often, she’ll just sit alone and try to just relax as much as she possibly can. She often goes over what she will be doing the next day in her mind, as well as how the day is currently going. She is constantly analyzing how the day goes, but never really gets the chance to do so until alone. One thing that is different when she is alone, however, is that she smiles a lot less. Since she has more time to mull over her thoughts, she often deals with the bad parts of the day, putting her in a not-too-good mood.

Character Class: Mage
Weapons: [Every character has some sort of weapons, even the Princesses of Heart…in some way. Well, this is where you will describe your weapons. Please note that you can’t have an infinite amount of weapons. Each character is limited to one set of weapons. This means you could have dual swords, a dagger with a long-sword, chain with daggers on the end, etc., etc. However, you can only have ONE set.]
Abilities: [Every character has some sort of ability, right? Well, this is where you will describe your abilities. However, you can’t have fifty-million abilities right away. When the character is first made, you can only have 1 Base with 3 Subs. This is so the character has room to become stronger, and so there are no God-like characters by means of strength. You can buy seven additional Subs, but until then, start out with three.]
For this section, you should understand the rules about them completely (found in the Advanced RP Rules thread). As such, there isn't a description for Abilities within this thread.
Mage :: Life Aura
The Mage has 2 Abilities. The first one is to heal a friend to 100% health. The second is to revive a friend from the dead. Because of these abilities that save your life, Mages are vital, especially in Quests and Plot Events where your chances of death are higher. So, having a few Mage friends would be smart. [Can heal character(s) 3 times per battle OR can revive a single character once per battle. You can’t do both. These Abilities cannot be used in any way on the user. Cannot be used on user’s other characters either.]
Summoner.
Name – Valefor
Appearance – Valefor has a somewhat wyvern like appearance. she is a large avian with two large, tan membranous wings stretching out to an 11’ wingspan. The tops of the wings are a violet color, and they have no appendages representing fingers like most wyverns and bats. In place of arms, Valefor has two horn-like clusters which she uses more in physical combat than anything else. Attatched to the right horn cluster is a group of three rings all interlocked with eachother. Her facial area and middle body, minus the chest, are covered by red feathers, while the lower body and tail are covered by purple feathers. Her chest, however, is covered with the same membranous material as his wings, giving him a natural body armor. Her beak and face are made from the same hardened material, and two golden eyes are embedded within.
Base Ability and Sub Abilities
Base – Air
Subs –
Sonic Wing – Bracing herself either in the air or on the ground, Valefor puts her wings horizontal to the ground and beats the air, bringing her wings to a perpendicular position. The differing directions of the air currents combine to form a slicing effect in the currents, sending a crescent shaped blast toward the enemy.
Energy Blast – Gathering energy and pulling a backflip in the air, Valefor draws a circle in the air with the tuft of feathers coming from her head. A glyph then appears in the air, and Valefor shoots separate currents of air into the glyph. The glyph charges the currents of air, making them volatile in nature. The now volatile currents race towards the enemies, exploading upon impact.
Energy Ray - Spinning into the air, Valefor gathers the air around her body, condensing it in the area around her beak. Opening her beak, she then shoots a ray of the condensed air straight toward the ground, embedding it deep into the ground. The air then races up toward the surface, bringing large rocks and debris up with it, harming any enemies underneath.
Elemental Weakness – Rock
History – Not much of a complicated history. Valefor is the first summon on the line of summons toward Zanarkand when starting from Besaid.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Name: Bahamut
Appearance: Bahamut is basically a bipedal black dragon. His scales are entirely jet black, with the exception of a thin line going up from his stomach which is a goden color. His claws are all very curved and golden, having three on each foot and some smaller ones on his hands. His wings are about three times his size, and consist of a multi-red-colored pallet, along with some black and amber.
Here is a picture.
Base Ability: Negative Element - The absense of all the elements creates a new element that is effective against all, weak against none, and strong against none. In a sense, it's somewhat like the 'normal' element in pokemon, only the element is more of a repellant of the other elements.
Sub Abilities;
~ Impulse: Gathering a fair-sized amount of negative energy around him, Bahamut releases about eight missles of negative energy which leave a stream of white light as they fly past. These missles explode upon contact, causing minimal damage equivalent to that of a small firework bursting on someone.
~ Flight: Through the use of the negative elements, Bahamut can repel all of the other elements in the area, repelling himself from the ground and sending himself through the air. This isn't really considered flight as much as it is considered a repelling of the elements, but flight is the closest to describing it. This ability can not be used to repel elements in the form of attack, but can only be used for elements in nature.
~ Mega Flare: Doing a flip in the air, Bahamut gathers negative energy within his body. The circular glyph located on his back begins to spin rapidly, creating a vortex of the negative energy within his body. Once the energy is gathered within him, Bahamut plants himself within the ground using his claws and opens his mouth. The flare will take a second or two to release the energy in the shape of a small ball from his mouth, but once it is released, he lets out a blast that can go for as far as 100 meters which is a ray of negative energy that is twice his size. The attack is crippling, and can leave a foe with almost no energy left, as well as multiple wounds and burns all throughout their body.
Weakness: While the thought of negative energy might make Bahamut seem all-powerful, he does have a weakness: Ice. Since bahamut takes himself through the air, he relies upon a stable internal environment. Extreme cold disrupts his homeostasis, and throws off his flight, as well as his ability to gather negative energy. However, the negative energy itself is not weak against ice. Only Bahamut.
History: Not many people ever get the chance to make a name for themselves. They’ll try and try as long and hard as they like, but it will never work out for them. Yuna, however, got this chance. The only problem was, she never wanted it.
Born of Braska and a young, beautiful maiden from the small island of Besaid, Yuna was destined for great achievements. Her name even hinted at these future achievements. Being named after Lady Yunalesca, one of the most well-known figures in all of Spira, everyone came to expect nothing but success from the baby Yuna. However, not long after her birth, her mother fell deathly ill. There was an attack on Kilika a few days earlier that her mother was caught in, so most people naturally assumed it was from Sin’s poisoning. However, no one ever found out what was the cause of the sudden illness, and eventual death.
From this early death of her mother, Yuna never really got the chance to know what it was like to have someone constantly watching over her. Her father and she moved to Besaid to try and lead a peaceful life, as well as start Braska’s summoner training. Her father was busy with his studies of becoming a summoner, thus leaving Yuna in the care of the various island folk. At about three years old, Lord Braska had finished his training as a summoner, but decided to stay with his daughter before going out on his pilgrimage. He wanted to make sure he had some good memories with his daughter before he left for his death with Jecht and Auron.
When Yuna was still a very young girl, about five years of age, her father left her to go off and defeat Sin, just as the other summoners all had hoped to do. Yuna didn’t fully understand what was going on, but she knew her father wouldn’t be coming back. She was left in the care of her neighbors in Besaid, and was forced to live in peace. A few months later, Yuna learned of her father’s success with his pilgrimage. Everyone on the island was overjoyed, but Yuna really didn’t show much emotion. It was such a bittersweet moment for her…
Nothing happened that was worth mentioning in the years that followed. However, when she turned 16, Yuna finally received her first summon. It took a lot out of her, but she knew this was just the first step on her pilgrimage, and the rest of her life. That was also the day where she met Tidus, the man Yuna would slowly fall in love with over the course of her pilgrimage. However, Yuna was firm in her beliefs, and she didn’t want to grow attatched to Tidus knowing she’d just die at the end.
Over the next couple of weeks, Yuna and her group of guardians became closer in relationships and to their goal, Zanarkand. Eventually, Yuna found herself completely torn between her beliefs and her love of Tidus. This inner conflict became so hard to handle that while traveling through the Macalania Woods, Yuna broke down. Tidus was soon there for her, and the two of them threw aside their beliefs and held eachother in a long embrace.
From there, the journey only became more complicated. After an encounter with her uncle, Cid, Yuna was taken into custody by Maester Seymour, forced into marriage. Yuna didn’t want to marry the Maester, but she had no choice if she wanted to keep the peace in Spira. However, her friends quickly came to the rescue, and she made a daring escape from the Maester. From there, the group continued in secrecy toward Zanarkand, where they searched desperately for a solution to Yuna’s eventual death. None came to them, and they had finally come to Zanarkand. However, instead of defeating Sin, they destroyed the creatures inside of Zanarkand, making Sin’s defeat impossible.
After, the group embarked on a great crusade via airship into Sin to defeat him once and for all. The group succeeded in doing so, and Sin was finally killed for ever. However, what Yuna didn’t know was that Tidus would have to leave her forever. Holding him in one final embrace, Tidus slowly faded away from her, leaving Yuna in a tear-filled feeling of loneliness. The group, minus Tidus and Auron, then returned to Bevelle to give a victory speech to the people. It was hard for Yuna to keep her composure, but she managed well enough.
Months later, Yuna set out on a search for Tidus, despite what she had seen. She knew he was out there somewhere, and she was determined to find him no matter how long it took. Leaving Besaid with no one but her friend, Rikku, and her newest friend, Paine, the three of them found themselves on a world known as Hollow Bastion. When they got there, they were almost immediately encountered by a witch named Maleficient. The witch told Yuna she could bring her beloved Tidus back, but Yuna and her friends would have to work for her. Yuna didn’t want to work for Maleficient, but she had no choice. Sacrificing her free will, Yuna, Paine, and Rikku all took on new identities…
The trio were degraded to fairy forms, rushing back and forth for Maleficient while looking for treasure. The trio encountered Sora and his friends along the way, however, and their antics led Yuna to realize what Maleficient had done. It wasn’t until after she was defeated that the trio of girls took on their old forms. The three realized they had been tricked, and they decided to go back to their own separate homes.
Yuna didn’t.
Instead, she decided to go on a random beach in Besaid, far away from her village. She had to think over what had happened, and in her state of meditation, she finally came to realize Tidus wouldn’t be coming back. She knew she’d have to move on, but she refused to give up her search. Now, she spends her days roaming the worlds, continuing her duty as a summoner by Sending the souls of the recently departed. On her way, she’s hoping to meet new friends…and let the past fuel her journey…
…while she slowly lets it go.
-----------------------
I’m not sure if it would count as an ability or not, but it really has no relevance to battle or actual one-on-one rping. Yuna can perform sendings to let the recently departed make their way to the Farplane.
Oh, and I just skimmed over the majority of FFX's gameplay. If you want me to expand upon it, I will.
Appearance: [This is where your character’s appearance will go. This portion requires detailed answers, since it is how your character looks. Make sure your answers aren’t simple. This is the only place you’ll have to show what your character looks like, so make it count.]
Physical Features:
Facial Features: Yuna’s face is almost perfectly symmetrical. Her cheek bones don’t stand out much at all, her chin and nose are small, and she has one of the prettiest faces for a girl that anyone has ever seen. Her hair is a chestnut color, and goes down to her shoulders. She wears her hair straight, and the only different thing about it is the teal and tourquoise braid she has in it on her left side. Her eyes are multi-colored like all Al-Bhed, taking on a sky blue and emerald hue.
Clothing: Yuna has very innocent, beach-like clothing. Her shirt is more a combination of two shirts. She has a white tank top-wrap without a back that wraps around the back of her neck. Underneath this wrap is a black tanktop which helps her cover herself when the white wrap isn’t quite enough. Wrapped around the tank top and the wrap is a yellow sash with a pink line down the center, and powder blue flowers along it. The sash ties up in a bow at her back, holding the upper body clothing all together. One other odd piece of clothing on Yuna’s upper body are her sleeves. The white and pink sleeves are tied to the middle of her upper arm, and fall down to her feet, serving no real purpose. As for her lower body, Yuna keeps it relatively simple. She wears a long, dark blue dress that falls down to the floor. Along the side and bottom of the dress are many white flowers which give a sort of flowing appearance. For shoes, Yuna simply wears comfortable black travel shoes. She often takes these off and walks barefoot when she can handle it.
Miscellaneous Items/Articles:Yuna has a silver necklace around her neck. The chain is silver, and there is a small silver ball that somewhat looks like a blitzball.
Personality: [Here, you will show what your character is like through his or her actions and emotions. How does your character act? What are they like around others? What are his or her goals? Basic questions that will give a great amount of depth to your character.]
Resolve: Yuna wishes to find her old friends, as well as make new ones, while protecting all she can in the universe from the forces of evil.
Pursuit: Yuna mainly goes on adventures across the universe to make sure an event like Sin never happens again. She has a natural fear of evil taking over and making the universe a horrible place. After defeating Sin, she came to realize how truly horrible it would be if that happened in other areas. This is why she devotes herself to protecting all. The reason she looks for old and new friends is to try and put her past behind her. Yuna has realized after a year or two that Tidus is gone, and she has to move on. However, she still searches for him, but tries to make new friends and memories on the way.
Fears: Yuna has many fears, but the biggest fear she has is losing those she loves most. Nothing horrifies her more than the thought of someone she loves more than anything disappearing from existence. Being alone is something she hates, especially when her friends are left in the unknown.
Hopes: Yuna’s hopes are very simple. She one day wishes to see a world where evil is a thing of the past, as well as find a place where she can live in peace with a small family of her own.
Hobbies:Yuna is a very innocent girl. She likes long walks on the beach, animals, and sunsets…no joke. Peace and tranquility is one thing she loves, and taking walks around the more beautiful parts of the world is a favorite. Also, since many animals are cute and furry, she’s bound to love them.
Public Personality/Private Personality:
Overall, Yuna is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. However, when Yuna is around other people, she is very shy and modest. If she is around anyone she doesn’t know, she’ll just give them a very friendly smile and speak as little as she can. Usually, she is held in high esteem, so it’s hard for her to encounter strangers. They will often speak of her and how she should be proud of what she did, but she can’t talk highly of herself. She often just melds into the crowd whenever she can, attracting as little attention to herself as she possibly can.
When she’s among her friends or alone, Yuna is not moch different. Often, she’ll just sit alone and try to just relax as much as she possibly can. She often goes over what she will be doing the next day in her mind, as well as how the day is currently going. She is constantly analyzing how the day goes, but never really gets the chance to do so until alone. One thing that is different when she is alone, however, is that she smiles a lot less. Weapon Name: Nirvana< image right there.
Weapon Description: Nirvana is the most powerful staff in all of Spira. It’s appearance is somewhat complex, and it has a lot of seemingly fragile parts on it. However, this is hardly the case. The winged insignia on top of the staff is made from the finest metals known to man, fused together with pure gold. At the base of the insignia, as well as at the bottom of the staff, are pink, silken tassles which have silken threads at the edges. The staff itself is made from the finest redwood trees in all of Spira. The wood was dyed to give it an azure color, with a few symbols imbedded in golden dye.
Unique Notes: Whenever Yuna isn’t wearing Nirvana, she has it either strapped to her back or on the ground next to her.
Abilities: [Every character has some sort of ability, right? Well, this is where you will describe your abilities. However, you can’t have fifty-million abilities right away. For this section, you should understand the rules about them completely (found in the Advanced RP Rules thread). As such, there isn't a description for Abilities within this thread.
Base Ability: Light
Sub Abilities:
~ Holy: Calling forth six orbs of light from the heavens, they all descend from an opening in the clouds. Beams of light accompany these orbs as they all surround Yuna and begin spinning in a ring pattern. Once the orbs gain some speed, Yuna sends them out toward her opponents at a somewhat quick speed, and they explode in a large burst of radiant light. Any wounds inflicted would be equivalent of being exposed to high frequency beams of light, leaving burns and possible missing limbs if they explosion is placed just right.
~ Esuna: Using her staff upon any of her friends of herself, Yuna casts a sheet of light upon them, curing them of any status ailments they might have. This is especially useful when encountering something along the lines of Sin's Poison.
~ Dispel: Pointing her staff in the direction of an oncoming spell or projectile, Yuna can take the force out of the attack if it is roughly basketball sized. Otherwise, she can reduce the damage of the attack by 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, etc., depending on the size of the attack.
Mage :: Life Aura
The Mage has 2 Abilities. The first one is to heal a friend to 100% health. The second is to revive a friend from the dead. Because of these abilities that save your life, Mages are vital, especially in Quests and Plot Events where your chances of death are higher. So, having a few Mage friends would be smart. [Can heal character(s) 3 times per battle OR can revive a single character once per battle. You can’t do both. These Abilities cannot be used in any way on the user. Cannot be used on user’s other characters either.]
Energy Blast – Gathering energy and pulling a backflip in the air, Valefor draws a circle in the air with the tuft of feathers coming from her head. A glyph then appears in the air, and Valefor shoots separate currents of air into the glyph. The glyph charges the currents of air, making them volatile in nature. The now volatile currents race towards the enemies, exploading upon impact.
Energy Ray - Spinning into the air, Valefor gathers the air around her body, condensing it in the area around her beak. Opening her beak, she then shoots a ray of the condensed air straight toward the ground, embedding it deep into the ground. The air then races up toward the surface, bringing large rocks and debris up with it, harming any enemies underneath.
Elemental Weakness – Rock
History – Not much of a complicated history. Valefor is the first summon on the line of summons toward Zanarkand when starting from Besaid.
However, what Yuna didn’t know was that Tidus would have to leave her forever. Holding him in one final embrace, Tidus slowly faded away from her, leaving Yuna in a tear-filled feeling of loneliness. The group, minus Tidus and Auron, then returned to Bevelle to give a victory speech to the people. It was hard for Yuna to keep her composure, but she managed well enough.
Months later, Yuna set out on a search for Tidus, despite what she had seen. She knew he was out there somewhere, and she was determined to find him no matter how long it took. Leaving Besaid with no one but her friend, Rikku, and her newest friend, Paine, the three of them found themselves on a world known as Hollow Bastion. When they got there, they were almost immediately encountered by a witch named Maleficient. The witch told Yuna she could bring her beloved Tidus back, but Yuna and her friends would have to work for her. Yuna didn’t want to work for Maleficient, but she had no choice. Sacrificing her free will, Yuna, Paine, and Rikku all took on new identities…
The trio were degraded to fairy forms, rushing back and forth for Maleficient while looking for treasure. The trio encountered Sora and his friends along the way, however, and their antics led Yuna to realize what Maleficient had done. It wasn’t until after she was defeated that the trio of girls took on their old forms. The three realized they had been tricked, and they decided to go back to their own separate homes.
Yuna didn’t.
Instead, she decided to go on a random beach in Besaid, far away from her village. She had to think over what had happened, and in her state of meditation, she finally came to realize Tidus wouldn’t be coming back. She knew she’d have to move on, but she refused to give up her search. Now, she spends her days roaming the worlds, continuing her duty as a summoner by Sending the souls of the recently departed. On her way, she’s hoping to meet new friends…and let the past fuel her journey…
…while she slowly lets it go.
I’m not sure if it would count as an ability or not, but it really has no relevance to battle or actual one-on-one rping. Yuna can perform sendings to let the recently departed make their way to the Farplane.
Oh, and I just skimmed over the majority of FFX's gameplay. If you want me to expand upon it, I will.
