Name: Elm Agincourt
Alias: Unit-X01009
Age: 1
Gender: Male
Race: Humanoid//Machine Entity
Alignment: Neutral
Origin: Mechanic Entity Dominator (MED) (original world)

Appearance:
Personality: Robotic, devoid of emotion, unsoci-- Nah, just kidding!
Elm is actually a vivid young lad, always cheerful. He's usually found smiling or grinning, and enjoys the small things in life. Naive to a point (he doesn't understand emotions that well yet), but incredibly knowledgable (having access to the collective knowledge of all others of his kind). Whenever he outputs his wisdom, though, he does tend to turn towards that neutral, monotone personality-type, but otherwise you'd just think it's a cheerful young lad on a grand adventure.
Has an abnormal sense of curiousity that makes him want to dissect any organic creature, and analyze any solid object, and explore anything that is neither an organic creature nor solid object. Curiousity killed the cat, maybe someday it'll kill Elm.

History: Elm's history, being just a mere 1 year of age, isn't very interesting. But to understand Elm, you need to understand the entity he was born from, and thus MED.
MED started out as a trash processor. Its task was to gather scrap junk from between the worlds; Remnants of battles from ages past. Or just the last day. MED wasn't particular about such things.
Whoever Engineered MED thought it would be terrific if MED was able to operate without outside input, but at the same time also evolve over time whenever its services became needed elsewhere, or just required in a different way. So MED was given thought, a really complex inner circuitry that would be too mind boggling to explain.
So MED floated, MED gathered, MED processed. And MED thought. Being just a single small drip in a big ocean of junk, he'd have to grow to process more efficiently, right? So he started using the processed junk to add on to itself. It increased its capacity for holding processed junk, it increased the rate at which it could process things and it increased the speed at which it could move through the space between worlds. But then! Another problem arised.
MED had realized he'd grown big enough that Gummi Ships and other things that went between worlds could see it without much effort. Some ships would land on MED and wander around its facilities; But then thought MED, what if one of them meant harm? So it gathered more junk, and built cannons on it that could fire at incoming Gummi Ships.
But then MED realized something else. See, it liked seeing different Worlds, and it liked travelling. But after having built so much on it (it had decided to build some facilities for visitors while it was at it anyway), MED was so large that it feared coming near a world would disrupt it. At this point, MED could already be considered a world in itself! So MED thought, and MED pondered, and MED realized: It needed to downgrade. Become smaller.
But discarding everything would be a waste of time and effort, and where'd he ever leave the scraps? So he decided to slowly remove needless utilities: Outward guns were useless, MED realized maleficent beings could enter MED without using a Gummi Ship. So it reduced its weapon load-out, and re-created them into ten metallic beings which MED called the M-Series. They were far from Humanoid, and possessed no thought: MED controlled them remotely, and sent them to different worlds. Alas, people reacted violently to the odd creatures entering their worlds, and MED realized the input from ten of these was too much to process and enjoy while controlling them. So MED thought, and MED recalled, and MED built.
MED made Interfaces. The X-series, which were linked to MED itself by a unique link of technology unfathomable to man. At the same time, those Interfaces possessed their own AI circuits, allowing them to think for themselves. They needed no manual operation, and MED could easily enjoy whatever sights they would behold, while also focusing on its primary goal. (and maintenance of the now world-like MED)
Elm is one of those Interfaces, called a Mechanic Entity by MED, the Mechanic Entity Dominator. Travelling the world so MED can expand its horizon was its initial goal, and along the way Elm decided it would be neat to become more than just a part of MED, and now seeks to also improve himself. He hasn't travelled a lot, being a relatively new model: But he's intent on travelling each and every one of the worlds.

Appearance:
Physical Features: Despite being 1 year of age, Elm is all but a toddler. Standing at 5'7" tall, and weighing exactly 120.0 lbs, he outwardly looks like about 18. Give or take a year or two. The body itself is slender, and in no way, shape nor form seems any bit as though it is not humanoid. Of course, there are a few things slightly odd about the body itself.
For one, Elm's hands are slightly smaller than that of your average 18-year old female's. Quite odd indeed. He also lacks earlobes, and when wearing tight pants you may note he is also lacking in other departments. Hint: He doesn't have it.
Even so, these qualities can also be considered to just be rare to humans. (Well, except that last part, but alright.)
The hair is dark-brown, by the way. When lit up under the sun, it may seem lighter brown, and when in the shades it may even seem black. Actually, it's probably more black than brown, although sunlight makes it seem more brown than black. It's short, as in that it hardly is capable of covering the ears, although it hides his forehead.
Eyes are black, although again, in sunlight they may seem to be a dark hue of brown, bordering on black.
By no means is he any bit extraordinarily attractive or handsome. He could be considered to be quite generic looking.
Facial Features: Well, he has a mouth and nose. And two eyes. Both eyes are... Well, I described them already. Because of their dark color it's hard to notice, but Elm doesn't actually have pupils.
Clothing: Ah! Clothes. The things no one ever changes in your popular RPG setting. I'll update this whenever relevant, but for now:
Elm wears a black, spandex-esque suit that covers his entire body, barring hands, feet and neck/face/head. The material is actually a foreign material known only to the MED world, and defensively, can be considered on-par with mythrile armor.
Any of the clothing worn over that is variable, although presently Elm sports a pair of dark-gray pants, slightly wide although the cuffs are closed, with dark-blue to black boots. Torso is 'decorated' by a tunic top, dark-grey in color with white lines edging past the chest/sides of the chest, and a closed collar. Sort of like a priest's collar. It is long-sleeved of course, disallowing anyone to spot the unique suit worn underneath.

Resolve: As part of an Evolutionary Mechanic Entity, Elm's purpose in life, or rather purposes, are as follows:
1) To observe the different worlds, and transmit any input towards the collective Data Entity, known as MED.
2) To evolve his own existence. Though a little unsure of the means to acquire this, Elm is simply looking to improve himself. His goal is to be unique from his kin, so that he may call himself an individual, despite being just a part of a much larger existence.
Pursuit: There isn't much meaning to his existence if he were not to do either of those two. One could say he simply has no choice but to do either of the two resolves mentioned above, although the primary driving force behind his pursuit is his unsatiable sense of curiousity.
Fears: Does a machine fear? ... Yes, a machine does fear. While he does not fear common things (death, after all, just means he needs to be remade, with his "individual" stored in MED), he does hold an absolute fear of "dreaming". His fear is to experience a dream. It was described to him (and others of his kind), as experiencing something that can never happen, but "impossible" is a concept the MED refuses to acknowledge and fears to be truth.
Hopes: See Resolve.
Hobbies: Read. His hobby is reading. He also quite enjoys fishing.
Public Personality/Private Personality:
As far as a public personality goes, Elm is still cheerful and apparently carefree. Although capable of adapting in a manner that would make everyone like him (artificial charisma), he chooses not to take this approach, believing everyone should accept his personality for what it is. Thus, he makes no amends to people that think he is annoying, or some other such judgmental idea.
Towards those that he considers to be good company, and that he meets more than often, Elm is a little more flexible and willing to adapt his own actions to not cause unnecessary grief, annoyance or other negative emotions to the other.

Weapons:
Weapon Name: MEDS (Mechanic Entity Defensive System)
Weapon Description: Weapons used by the Mechanic Entities are a bit different from regular human weapons. The weapon itself manifests as two orb-like objects floating behind the Entity's shoulders. As they are entirely unreflective, their color is black as night: One does not actively observe them as they reflect no light, and can be considered "shadows". As far as the combat use goes, these two orbs generate a sort of energy similar to particle energy. They cannot be used as a weapon by anything but a Machine Entity.
Unique Notes: See weapon description.
Abilities:
Base Ability:
Energy
Sub Abilities:
[ Ion Cannon: Energy from the MEDS is gathered, then channeled forward and shot as a projectile. Velocity is comparable to a crossbow bolt, shape is as a basketball, damage is magical in nature.
[ Energy Barrier: Energy from the MEDS is gathered and projected as a force field directly in front of the Machine Entity. The Energy Barrier is short-lived and dissipates after a turn, but due to the concentrated mass of energy is capable of annulling most minor attacks and (heavily) mitigating damage from stronger attacks.
[ Reflection: Energy from the MEDS is gathered and projected around the Machine Entity's body. Magical energies fired at the Machine Entity are replicated and returned towards the assaulter. In a way it is like Reflect, although the Machine Entity does not nullify the damage to itself and suffers the attack itself in the process.
