Redneck? Really? You live in one of the Carolinas I know(....North?) but can you say Redneck? You need to be a few states over for that (Texas)....and hillbillies are more of a Kentucky, Arkansas, Tennessee thing, so no using that.
Poor you though, hopefully it's not a horribly small town. I now what it's like to visit those down in the south. And the small ones in the north....surprising in the similarity.
