Brez, there isn't a door. It's one of those bird cages where there is a circular base, and the actual cage is put down over it; and then locking in. Of course, that calls into question whether you could amass enough force to dislodge the base.

After Iris posts, I'll post in Chapter 1a as well. In my post, I'll give some detail about the Automaton's and how one goes about defeating them (Hint: Though there is no wearer, why is it that one dons armor?).

Something I wanted to talk to you guys about. You guys know how in RPs, in an attempt to go through the 'grinding' involved in building relationships, spending more time together doing an adventure (e.g. using our current state, like having Magus and Iris go through a couple more buildings beating up Automatons, saving people before getting to the next plot event) can eventually get mundane and even boring?

Well, I seek to eliminate that. Would it be better for you guys to organize together a summuary narrative detailing what had happened between the two plot scenes? (e.g. Magus and Iris had lots of fun beating up lots of automatons before discovering....!)

Poorly conveyed my meaning is, tell me if I need to elaborate.

Somewhat similar to having talked to myself in thisn OOC thread.

It's like "Where in the world is Carmen Sandiego?" and I play the illustrious scarlet thief. Who appears like in five scenes for the entire series despite the series being named after her.

Honestly, though, it's not bad, how shall I put it? It gives Alexis an air of mystery, foreshadowing his appearance. Besides, after you and Nascent do that thing I PMed you two about, things will really get started. At the same time, after Brez posts, then the action really begins.
