So its been quite awhile since Ive rped, thought I would get back into it. I used to frequent the Mystic Sky forums, some of you might remember me from there, I know Katsumi is here. Anyway like I said looking to get back into it, something to do when Im bored. See you guys around the forums.

We're always glad to see people eager to RP, so once you've got a character profile worked up feel free to jump into almost any active RP. Kat how you been, yeah Im still using these lovely sigs lol, thanks again for them . Thanks for the warm welcomes everyone I look forward to RPing with you guys soon. As for Seph, its spelled Azrael if my display name is to confusing lol, and the whole 5 character thing should be simple enough, already have about 20 or so, Im just gonna have to fix them a bit to use them here it looks like. I do have one question though, guns? Allowed? |

I'd say it makes for a nice, memorable, personal touch.  And Sephi... if 200 posts in two weeks was even possible, let alone led to forum domination, someone with my devotion to RP would at least be a staff member by now!  |

So about these rules... I see a lot of no teleporting and flying stuff which makes me sad on the inside, how lenient are these kinda rules if we never plan on battling with said character?

Flight is allowed. But it has to take up an ability spot. We just don't like wings. D: Overrated.
Teleporting allowed OUTSIDE of battle. Not inside battle. But it's a 'no duh' ability so you don't have to state it. We'll just assume you can teleport from world to world.
As for guns, I have to admit, we're very iffy about them that's all.

Well, let's do a quick bit of clarification. Teleporting is usually okay out of battle or other likewise hazardous / plot-important situations, especially for getting between worlds. It's using it in combat or to manipulate plot events unfairly that's forbidden. And in regards to flying, a character actually can fly if they purchase the Super Glide equip (see the Shop thread under Rules). The reason some things are not allowed or made difficult is only to keep people from "power-playing" their way through an RP instead of working to develop the story. Honestly, I think it's a smart approach. |
