On announcement Sephiroth made his way to the entrance, nodding so that Angelo would follow his lead. Once he'd made his way into the arena and he was sure no one would be watching except Angelo, he brought his hand out in front of him. Masamune appeared and with an upward strike ending in front of his face, Sephiroth cut the robe's tie. Then with a twist the robe came off, Sephiroth turned into another strike leaving the robe in two pieces.
His silver hair blew gently, then rested against his black suit. Sephiroth moved his arms, rotating the silver shoulder pads. He brought Masamune down with his right hand and held his left hand up as if posing a question. "Shall we?"

Angelo followed Sephiroth quietly without questions. He walk a normal pace to the arena, slipping past the doors after Sephiroth so he didn't get dirty. He did a quick side step then rolled to dodge the swings of Masamune. 'I managed that roll without touching the dirt, thankfully.'
Angelo summoned his sword to his right hand and tossed it into the air and caught it without even flicking. He caught up with Sephiroth and jokingly said, "We shall." Then he cracked his neck to both side. He tossed his sword as high as he could, then cracked everything from elbows to knuckles. He slowly stuck his right hand out to his side and caught his sword. "Now we wait for the other team."

Reika wasn't much of one for fancy or extravagant entrances. She walked into the arena, her black and red pinned stripped cloak still on. It concealed her as well as her weapon, weapons, of choice. As she walked through the sand of the coliseum arena she could hear the fans and observers shouting and roaring. She looked around, not really turning her head only her eyes.
She shrugged off her cloak, it blew to the ground but was too heavy for the wind to carry it anywhere. She was adorned in her normal attire. At her hip in their sheath were her butterfly swords, though at first look they only seemed to be one blade. She drew them out and held one in each hand. She had her arms straight, laying against her legs. She looked around at the crowd, their shouting and cheering would become annoying.
She stood still where she was, she looked across at her opponents and then waited for the battle to begin.

After exiting the waiting room Riku found himself to be the last one to enter the arena floor. Didn't bother him a whole bunch, but he felt as though he was slacking somewhat. He missed the little show that the One Winged Angel had just done but came in right as he was raising his arm. Kind of weird really, Riku wasn't sure what he was doing but he didn't have time to question his motives.
Seeing the girl that had arrived Riku figured that this was his partner for this upcoming match. Although he wanted to introduce himself to her, he knew that he couldn't do that for specific reasons. He even chose not to take off his hood because he wanted to maintain his enigmatic look. Once he entered the ring he walked over next to Reika and placed his hands behind his back. He would not use his Keyblade unless it was needed. For now, Riku would just have to use his other weapon of choice.

Sephiroth looked at his selected partner, then to his opponents. One of them he felt like he should know, but their identity meant nothing in this occasion. Sephiroth smirked and almost laughed, he was fighting others for sport here, to the death to top it off. The funny things people did in organized manners.
"Abdicate now and you will leave mostly unharmed. Choose otherwise and I will slice you both to pieces, but I will not kill you until you beg for mercy. Is that fair? My friend here will most certainly enjoy it as well." Sephiroth ended and looked bored.
"Ahh, I see, no. That was too harsh wasn't it, you're both too young for torture. Instead this will be quick, almost painless. I promise." Sephiroth grinned again, took several steps forward and then without warning dismissed Masamune. The moment the giant blade disappeared he shot straight forward at Reika, the speed he reached was uncharacteristic for even those of his same height, even mortals with exceptional abilities and fitness; Sephiroth in every act and feat was not afraid to show off, after all to him it was perfectly normal. He hadn't spent his life in SOLDIER and been First Class for nothing.
In a span of three seconds he was almost upon Reika, his eyes that had most likely been small dots to her were unmistakeably clear now. What was not clear even at this distance, was the control he had over himself. Both of his opponents were clear in his view, the position of himself on the arena, how far back Angelo was, his speed and how to stop in any number of occasions, what foot was going down, and on.

Angelo charged at Riku after Sephiroth charged. He jumped as high in the air as he could. He shot strands of aura out of his weapon and trapped Riku's feet. " So far so good." He muttered.
Angelo landed, the moment his feet touched the ground he jumped again. He did a 360 degree front flip twist to get over Riku. He built up aura into 3 aura balls. He fired the middle one straight down at Riku. He fired the left one diagonally to the upper left in a curved path to hit low. He fired the right one last. It was fired diagonally to the lower right in a curved path to hit medium height. He landed facing away from Riku. He swiftly turned to face Riku and charged with his sword ready to thrust.

Reika watched as what now seemed to be her opponent charged, rushed towards her. She remained where she was, not wasting any energy moving or rushing towards him as well. She would wait until he came to her instead. Why waste effort when what you wanted, wanted to attack, was coming towards you? He was quick. A few more seconds and he would be upon her now, she raised her blades. Ready to defend.

Riku had not moved whenever Angelo had shot out his web aura letting himself get trapped by the webs. For now he didn't need to move around in any direction since Angelo was now coming for him. Riku waited until just the precise moment to counter. His hands which were still behind him, had been gathering the power of darkness that still resided within his heart and was forming a thick aura of darkness in his right hand. Angelo had made on crucial mistake in his strategy. H
He left himself open for a long range attack.
Once Angelo landed in front of Riku he would jump again but he wouldn't get too far with this. As soon as his opponent tried to jump over the him, Riku fired the darkness that he had gathered in his hand. Shooting out about half a dozen balls of blue and black flames, he had aimed it precisely in the direction where Angelo would be trying to front flip over him. The dark flames would interrupt his flip and blast him backwards with a good amount of damage.
Whether or not this attack would stop the aura web that prevented Riku from running over to finish him off, would be up to how much concentration Angelo had over this ability. Riku continued to stand in his spot and wait to see what would happen next.

He was at most five feet from Reika, and all at once stopped, a gust of wind flew toward her from his sudden momentum change. She wouldn't attack? At the same time his right hand clenched shut, white and black puffs appeared around it and then disappeared. "Wrong move my dear."
All around Reika the same puffs appeared then were gone, followed by an outline of darkness around her body. Then all at once Reika's immediate surroundings were filled with light; simultaneously she was bombarded by great amounts of dark and light energy. The explosion made a deafening sound. Her only chance to avoid Shadow Flare was to have a last ditch escape ability, otherwise she wouldn't be feeling too well after that hit.
Sephiroth smiled and re-summoned Masamune, turning to Riku happily.

Angelo saw the energy balls fly at him while he was in the air. He twisted his body to make it so he could dodge them. Two of the balls shoot past him without being close. He barely dodged two other balls. Two of them were going straight for him so he used an aura balls he had built up to counter them. The other two aura balls went for Riku. Angelo landed on his feet and twisted to face Riku and charged at him.

Reika remained where she was as her opponent, Sephiroth, stopped as well. At the change of momentum she felt a gust of wind blow towards her. What was he up to? He should of attacked her...instead he stopped. Sudddenly white puffs appeared around his hand and then disappeared...
Wrong move my dear.
Then the same puffs appeared around her, she looked left and right at them. What was this? Some kind of magic? Suddenly...she heard a deafening sound. W-what was this? Her swords disappeared as she moved her hands to her ears to block it out, as her surroundings were bombarded with light. An explosion...
"Ugh..." She moaned, kneeling somewhat towards the ground.
She felt...nauseous.
She looked up towards Sephiroth as the deafening sound was still ringing in her ears though she had attempted to block it out. Sephiroth was not one thing but a blur of two..three Sephiroths. She couldn't tell which was the real one..
She was now kneeling on the ground trying to regain sense of herself. Of her mind. Her hands were on the ground, attempting to keep her up. She then clasped them on the ground sending a surge of something in the ground.
She saw that he had a sword in his hand, that she could tell through her dizziness.

As Angelo twisted and turned trying to avoid his blasts of darkness Riku was already in the process of gathering more darkness into his hands once more. As his opponent landed on the floor after firing his energy orbs at him, Riku retaliated with his own barrage of energy orbs. This was a much stronger blast of darkness then his previous one tripling in quantity as well as in strength. The blue and black flames spread out more giving a wider range of attack should he try to avoid them once more. It quickly took care of the two orbs of energy that he had fired previously with the remaining orbs headed in Angelo's direction.
He took a brief moment to see what had happened to his partner from the corner of his eye. She shouldn't have just stood there, this Sephiroth fellow was not one whom you should just stand around and do nothing while he charged towards you. Riku was relieved to see that she hadn't died but was now cautious to see the One Winged Angel turn his attention towards him and smile. It was the kind of smile he did not like to see anyone have when they were fighting him. It meant bad things up ahead. With his free hand not doing anything very useful he gathered more darkness and fired multiple blasts of dark blue and black flames directly at Sephiroth.

Sephiroth had little worry about Reika behind him. If she had even the slightest bit of fight left, he could flick his wrist and be done with her. And that was exactly what Sephiroth was going to do, or so to speak.
"Riku, really? Darkness at me?" Sephiroth was practically laughing, his smile still on his face.
Reika was however, still conscious. The surge of electricity entered Sephiroth through his feet, though he'd heard this occurring and accepted it was too late to avoid. All the better, give her hope. Sephiroth had turned his head the moment he heard Reika's hands hit the ground, the darkness blasts were moments away from him. Surely this looked promising for the other group. There was no telling if Angelo would come through in time. Masamune vibrated in his hand, years of training and mental exercise made enduring the shock notably easy.
The moment after Sephiroth was struck by Reika, he easily closed the gap between the two of them with Masamune. In her state, there would be no avoiding his sword. Not with how she was kneeling, not if she was barely managing to stay in the fight. It would stab through her, protruding out almost a foot, and that would work perfectly. With a flick of his wrist, and a turn of his body, Reika would meet her own partner's darkness blasts while hanging from Masamune. Judging on the darkness blast's strength, Riku would kill his own partner.
Sephiroth smiled, Reika would be struck with pain, dazed, nearly dead, thrown on the end of his sword and killed in front of him. The final thing she would see would be Sephiroth, while her killer could only watch in despair. There was no escaping this, if the other team had ever had a chance.

She couldn't let it end here, she had to regain herself and fast. If she just knelled here she was open to attacks. She should of moved. Such a stupid, stupid mistake on her part. She wouldn't let it happen again. She was breathing heavily, still trying to make some sense of what had just happened. She looked up to find the man, Sephiroth, turning towards her. Moving to make his final move, to finish her off. He had summoned his sword earlier to deal damage to her while she was down. That was one reason she had sent the electrical charge...but it seemed it hadn't really done anything. She would be sure to make it stronger next time.
He wasn't so much of a blur anymore and she saw him moving towards her, his sword closing in on her. She had already been ready for him to finish her off but something had stopped him earlier..Her partner? Though she was one to work alone, she was glad for his help. Now to move...
She quickly leaned towards the right, letting her body actually fall towards the ground. She looked at him slyly, her hand lightly grazed his sword. It was just enough for her to make contact with it, to ignite a spark. To send an even more powerful charge through his long sword, up through his arm. Towards his heart. With his arm stretched forward from trying to impale Rei the electric current shot straight for his heart with no problem which would cause him to feel the attack so much more than it just spreading throughout his body. Plus the added charge from her arc repulsion acting as a electrical current and his sword acting as a transfer for Rei's attack. She had combined two abilities into one. Though the touch was faint, it was enough for Reika to send a lot of electricity straight towards his heart...
With the cost of maybe a nick or two, or a scratch from Masamune. Her body fell to the ground, to where she had leaned. She...was too close to him. She needed to get away. But she had managed to roll away some...so she got some distance.

Angelo charged at Riku. He saw the balls of darkness flying to him. He had to think fast. 'What to do? Perfect.' He built up aura and shot three aura balls straight at Riku so that the were in a row. Angelo thrust his sword forward and sent a pulse through his weapon. It shot out right after the aura balls. It hit the last aura ball, increasing the momentum and force of the ball and the other two in return. He brought his sword back and kept running full speed at Riku following the aura balls. 'Never underestimate your enemy or it will be your fall.'
