Here is how the thread starter will set pot betting up:

.general.
The Arena is a very simple place. Two or more combatants battle it out under a set of rules preset by the combatants themselves. These rules include a bet of Munny and/or Items in which the winner gets to claim for himself, while the loser has to give up these objects.
The flip side of the coin is the position of the non-combatants. They will bet on who they think will be the winner. Non-combatant betters are unlimited in number.
.miscellaneous.
Only accepted characters may participate.
You may only participate in one bet; combatant or not.
In order for the betting to work, someone must bet AGAINST you. Duh. You can’t just all bet on the same side.
There may be infinite non-combatant betters.
Combatants: winners not using AU will gain twice as much Munny and losers will lose the amount they were meant to without the bonus affecting them.
Combatants cannot make bets in non-combatant bets, and vice-versa.
All non-combatant bets must be in before the battle gets too far in.
Changes made during a battle, such as an Ability change, are not allowed within the battle thread.
An auto-win is declared when an opponent hasn't posted within a 5 day period, unless the person's absence was declared somehow.
How the Arena looks is 100% up to the participants. It can be anything from a simple field to one of the KH canon worlds.
.the.process.
Combatant
1) Start a thread in the Arena main board.
2) Someone will hopefully accept the challenge within the thread.
3) Work out all the kinks with the person within the thread, such as the rules of the battle and how much both of you will bet.
4) Go to the Challenge board and have ALL combatants post in a single thread using the appropriate form.
5) Check over to make sure that the bets and rules and etc agreed upon are correct.
6) One of the combatants start the thread in the Arena board and commence the battle.
7) Upon completion of the battle, the WINNERS of the battle go over to the Reward Claims board and create a thread with the appropriate form. If there are multiple winners, use the same thread.
8) A staff member will deduct the prizes from the losers and give them to the winners.
Non-Combatant
1) Start a thread in the Arena main board.
2) Someone will hopefully bet against you within the thread.
3) Work out all the kinks with the person within the thread, mainly how much is wagered.
4) Go to the Bidding Stands and have ALL betters post in a single thread using the appropriate form.
5) Check over to make sure that the bets and rules and etc agreed upon are correct.
6) Wait for the battle to end.
7) Upon completion of the battle, the WINNERS of the wager go over to the Reward Claims board and create a thread with the appropriate form. If there are multiple winners, use the same thread.
8) A staff member will deduct the prizes from the losers and give them to the winners.
.alternate.universe.
The AU battle rule is to allow those not wanting their characters to die while still being able to participate in the battles of the Arena.
When AU is activated, all the IC stuff that happens within the Arena won’t actually happen outside of the thread. So, if you lose an arm or die and etc within the Arena thread, your character will still be normal in all other RP threads, including future Arena battles.
So, even in AU, the goal is to still kill your opponent(s) within the battle.
All combatants do NOT have to have AU activated.
Winners not using AU will gain twice as much Munny and losers will lose the amount they were meant to without the bonus affecting them.
.judges.
Combatants, before the battle begins, may elect 1 or 3 (not 2, not more than 3) people to play the roles of Judges on the battle. All combatants must agree on the Judges (or in the case of more than 2 combatants, Judges can be agreed upon by most of the combatants and that will be acceptable). Judges will make calls wherever they feel necessary within the battle thread itself, so are expected to keep up with the entire battle thread.
Judges are given 3 munny per post in the battle thread. However, Judge posts and further OOC posts do not count. Simply: 3 X posts in the thread – OOC Posts = Judge pay
To claim your munny, post in the same thread as the combatant winners in Rewards Claim.
.pot.bidding.
An optional betting system that is a true gamble is called pot betting. In this betting system, several betters can throw in their bets into a pot and the winning side receives all of the winnings (from the losing side) divided among all of the winning betters. While it can be less rewarding if your enemies bet low, it can also be incredibly rewarding if they bet high.
To keep you from betting too low just to save yourself some cash, a bet of 50 munny is the minimum for a pot. If you don't have 50, you cannot participate.
It works like this:
The bid starter makes a thread based on a match. Said match has two combatants and those are who you bet on. The betters will then post saying like "100 on Saix" or "50 on Sora". Since this betting is just like a pot where you throw in money, you don't have to match bets, though it would be polite to try.
Note: there has to be someone on each side of the Pot for it to work.
Here is how the thread starter will set pot betting up:
Match URL: The url to the fight.
Contestants: The names of the two users and their characters. For instance: "Avenger using Kadaj" or "Darkfire using Blanc"
Bets
Fighter One's Name
Better's Name - Amount of Bet
Better's Name - Amount of Bet
Better's Name - Amount of Bet
Better's Name - Amount of Bet
etc.
Fighter Two's Name
Better's Name - Amount of Bet
Better's Name - Amount of Bet
Better's Name - Amount of Bet
Better's Name - Amount of Bet
etc.
.score.board.
In the board labeled Score Board, there is a listing of the top 10 fighters. This is defined by the amount of wins you have. Plain and simple.
