Name: Madam's Manor
Race(s): N/A
Odd Animals:
Dowl- A brown, double-headed owl. It has thin legs that support its upper body, somehow. A large eyes is located in its chest. This animal doesn't usually fight unless provoked, but is used to carry information that is recorded by its eye and stored in its right head. Its left head is used to talk with others. Yes, the owl has the ability to talk.
Stitches- A mutated hermit crab that is about the size of a ten year old. It has grown an apendage that looks like a head with missplaced eyes. Its entire 'body' is covered in stitches. The body is actually the shell in which an eyes will sometimes pop out. When the eyes is out, it will float above other animals or people. When not in the floating form, it uses four, tough legs to scurry about.
Socket- A giant, animate head that is the size of a normal household dishwasher. It has part of its spine and spinal cord hanging from where its neck would be. Instead of moving with legs or hands it moves with its rough, long tongue that is also used as a weapon. It has purple, wrinkly skin and a huge, pointy nose.
Squid- Squid isn't actually a huge squid, it's more of a monster. It has no facial features other than four openings that showoff its dripping mouth. It has two, long squid-like tentacles that don't do anything except flail up. Either that or be dragged across the ground. It has no legs, so Madam has blessed the race of monsters with mechanical legs. They're attatched by nails that are shot into the skin.
Gaspar- Gaspars aren't violent beings by any means. They're guides and are helpful to others, even monsters. They's scrawny, their bones showing from their small figure. They have extremely thin legs and arms and in the right arm is a lantern. It is attatched through a nub that replaces its right hand at birth. The lantern is their lifeline. Once it goes out, the Gaspar dies and becomes either a ghost, or an angel Gaspar. Ghosts are sent to Hades and are turned into orbs,m or they go to heaven and are given wings and a halo.
Face- Faces are giant spiders with bone-like legs, eight of them. They're the same size and height as a minivan and they have a giant appendage that replaces its thorax. The large appendage has distinct markings on it that make it look like a woman's face. It opens up to reveal a deadly shot or rope of web.
Drag- Drags are large, human figured monsters with cartoonish heads. Their bodies are somewhat normal except for thier hands and arms replacing thier legs and feet. The legs and feet replace thier arms, the feet having three spikes on the sole. To move about, the Drag uses its arms to drag it along, letting its huge, slobbering head and legs slide along the earth. To attack, they do a hand stand and slam down, using thier legs to do the most damage.
History: When the worlds were just starting to form, there were forces of light and darkness. One of those forces, Madam, was a loner and didn't vote like her sisters did when choosing the alignment of the created worlds. She wanted some place that was all her own. A place where she could be free and light like her purer sisters, so she created "Madamland". Madamland was a place where light sprouted in every direction in the shape of trees, bushes, pathways and other things that symbolize light. She lived here in secrecy from her sisters, knowing that if they knew what she had done, they would surely punish her. Well, one day, the sisters actually did find out about her "land" as she spoke in her dreams. They were outraged!
So, the sisters of darkness traveled to this "Madamland" with Madam leading the way. When they arrived, the sisters changed all of the light into darkness by converting happy animals into vicious monsters. As Madam watched, crying, she found out that the only way to succeed in life was by using darkness, so as she watched her sisters, she learned many new things and when they left, Madam stayed and created her manor. This was her new place where she would keep her darkness kept. She would rule over this land and destroy all who oppose her, even her sisters who were now feeble old women. Madam knew a secret that they didn't... the secret to eternal youth and beauty.
Environment: Madam's Manor is a world where darkness overwhelms even the lightest beings. The trees here are all dead, rivers with deadly, skin melting water that would burn your entire body with one touch. There is a giant forest named Dearest. This is full of tall, towering dead trees where Dowls and Gaspars usually reside in huts that they've built.
There is also a giant lake that must be crossed in order to get to the side where Madam's Manor lies. A Gaspar is there to use his trusty boat to guide you to the other side, but be careful not to touch the water and to listen to all of the Gaspar's instructions. When crossed, there will be one path leading towards what seems like nothingness, but actually leads to a fortress of webing made by the Faces. This is where most of the Faces, Stitches, and Drags usually live, not to mention some random Squids.
If you get through the webs safely, you'll be looking over a valley. It's not large, but it's full of nasty Squids and Sockets just waiting to bite into you.
When the Valley is acomplished, you 'll be at a Manor that reaks of Darkness. This is Madam's Manor. It's usually covered with guardian Faces, so unless you want to risk your life, you'll be leaving the area. The only time Madam is accepting guests is on Apprentice night where she inducts new Apprentices to do her bidding and to join the Apprentice Wars.
Everything in this world is colored in any shade of purple except for the Dowls.
Category: Wastelands. Valley. Lake. Castle(Manor). Forest.
Rules: Users of Light have their powers weakened by half, while users of Darkness have their damage doubled.
Everyone has a slight purple tint to them and I mean slight.
Summary: A world full of deadly monsters and acid-like rivers. Dangerous forests and valleys that are crawling with unusual creatues and animals have to be crossed to see the most devestating feature of this nightmarish world; Madam's Manor. This is usually guarded unless on Apprentice Night.
