As you are heading out the door of your house, a small glimmer of light catches your eye. You turn around and see a mirror, putting you face to face with your reflection.

Physical appearance ~ : Joshua stands at an average 6'2". He is very pale. He has short black hair and black eyebrows with bright blue eyes. He is very bony, having almost no visible muscle except his biceps. He has long fingernails that could rip a man's eyes out.


Clothing/Accessories ~ : Joshua wears a long, silky, black veil/cloak type of an outfit. On his face, he has a black mask from the bottom of his jaw, all the way up to his nose so that it is covered. The mask has the symbol of the Heartless carved into it. He wears it because the air is toxic to him. He does not need to breathe for none of his organs really work.

As you're walking through the door, you see many sights that influence your mood. The different feelings that suddenly wash over you are many, leaving you with a strange mix of emotions.

Behavior ~ : Joshua loves to live quietly. He listens much more than he speaks. He is good at examining details. Intelligence isn't one of his strong points, but more so is his common sense. He does not attempt to battle using strength, but using cunning and skill.

Suddenly, a Heartless appears in front of you, brandishing its claws and threatening to attack. You reach for your weapon and equip it, ready to defend yourself.

• Tri-Claws: Light weight gloves that fit Joshua perfect have three claws, one on the ring, middle, and index finger, each measuring in at 1 foot. The claws can sheath back into the top of the glove.
  
  
• Daggers: Joshua has six daggers, three attached to the outside of each of his thighs. The daggers are half a foot long and have a basic design that makes them easy to throw.

• Illusionist: Joshua waves his black cloak around him and he becomes cloaked for 1 turn. He's is completely invisible if still, but when moving, a blur appears where he's standing, so he is more easily noticed.

Armor of the Emblem

Joshua's mask on his jaw begins to spread across his body, making a giant piece of armor covering everything except a small slit by his eyes and his joints. Joshua is a lot slower with this armor, but is much more stronger. If he were to punch someone, he would break a couple ribs and throw them back about two yards. His claws are capable of being unsheathed in this form.

Strength: Strong
Uses: This armor can stay on him for up to 5 turns before he overheats. He needs to rest for 1 turn for every turn he uses the armor.

Joshua was always silent as a child. He always drew. His dream was to read and write, but he never really had the intelligence for such a task. While the other kids would play, Joshua would draw them playing their game. He would love adding to the pictures. Reality was the one thing Joshua could not stand. It was too boring.

When Joshua became 18 the reality was suffocating him. He felt as if it was literally closing down on him. He ran from home, never looking back. He searched for a new world that ignored reality and went into fantasy. What he found was a Heartless. At first, the creature fascinated him. He began drawing it, making sure to keep his distance.

This was exactly what he was looking for! A creature that ignored reality. A creature that decided to be different. He moved in closer, wanting to see if he could communicate with it. He reached out to touch it and suddenly felt the creature's grip. It overpowered him and destroyed him, stealing his heart. The next thing he knew, Joshua woke up exactly where he fell to the ground before, but he realized he couldn't breathe! Not that it was really a bad thing, because for some reason he was still living.

Joshua reached up to touch his face and discovered a strange mask closing off his mouth. It had the strange symbol that the creature he drew had on its chest. Anger overcame the boy. He realized that the creature must have done something. For the first time, fantasy had betrayed him.

Joshua forgot all about fantasy. Instead he went back to focusing on reality. He discovered strange powers that had overcome him. Powers that he could not explain using logical thinking, but accepted them all the same. He forged weapons for self-defense as people saw him as one of the Heartless creatures and often tried to kill him.

But Joshua was NOT a Heartless. He was a victim of a cruel crime. He had only one choice. To find the Heartless that had changed him, and make it change him back.
