"An official announcement of the new anime series of Fullmetal Alchemist was made on the cover notes of the original manga volume 20. MOONPHASE's anonymous source says it'll be one-year series aired from April 2009. The script will be based on the manga."
The first episode has been released already. Watch it. Nao.

So they're actually making a FMA anime that follows the story of the (Infinitely BETTER)manga this time?

I think they are. It's not a sequel to the anime. Or it could be, FMA can be trippy like that.
Myself, I actually preferred how the anime managed the Homunculi and the whole fiasco with the dual worlds. The anime lacked some of my favorite characters, but it was still very well done. Much better than most anime adaptations at least.

I never read the manga, anyone know where I can find it.
Strangely enough, FMA seems to be the only anime/manga content I wouldn't feel ashamed to watch/read.

Sloth was so much better in the manga...even though I don't care much for FMA.
