The sun was giving off minimum amounts of heat as the dark clouds formed in the sky. Snow had been falling ever since last week, so of course the Land of Dragons was going to be covered in the white fluff. Nothing really happens in the Land of Dragons anymore, really. Heartless battles were a thing of the past now, the citizens of this world now in relief. Even so, there's always going to be that thing that changes the course of the world.
High up in the mountain's peak, where the snow gathers most, sat a teen with a ridiculously large sword. He stared out towards the palace and the small villages that surrounded it, thinking about nothing in particular. If you looked closely at a few of the rocks that were protruding from the mountain, you would see giant gashes on each side. Apparently, the boy was doing some type of training, but why at the peak of a mountain? Was this just a stretching excercise? Maybe it was just to let off some steam.
Whatever the reason, the warrior was proud to have climbed up such a feature of earth. Snow was clinging to his ebony colored hair, some falling into his eyelashes, melting away into nothing."Well, that's about it for today. I really hope that there are some real enemies tomorrow. Probably not, but hey. You can still wish." The male was named Dante and he carried a mighty cleaver. An adventurer at heart, he loved to travel and figh whatever creatures he could find.
Alas, in the Land of Dragons, there was nothing but a few rocks. It was a wonder that there were no Heartless around. So many dark filled hearts in this world... Tsk tsk tsk. Turning away, the Ex-Apprentice began to leave the peak, thinking about what might come tomorrow.

Wheeeeeeiiiiiz.
A bullet, crafted entirely from ice, was shot from a distance. The shot obviously wasn't intended to kill; it whooshed right past Dante (assuming he didn't make any sudden moves that involve flailing of limbs).
But it was a warning.
A small figure could be seen in the distance, somewhat up the mountain, behind a small hump of land.
So.... a sniper?

Dante's eyes went wide after feeling the rushing air of the bullet and hearing the sound of the deadly projectile. Who wanted a fight with him? Was it because he had cut the rocks, or maybe it was another of Madam's Apprentices, sent to kill him. Well, the Ex-Apprentice could portend the fate of this soul, and that was death. Brandishing his cleaver once more, the warrior searched the mountain with his eyes, hoping to catch even the slightest movement. Then, he found it! There was a figure... Obviously, they weren't to bright, otherwise they'd be hiding.
Well, no matter, it was over for whoever the person was. Still, there posed a problem; Who in the world was he going to get up there without being shot at!? There were a few ways to go by this. One, he could High Jump all the way up, leaving him vulnerable to all attacks as he fell down. Two, he could use his Dark Starling mode to increase his speed by tenfold. There seemed only one reasonable answer to this.
Dante would have to distract the sniper so he could make a clean route. Hiding behind one of the damaged rocks, the warrior made a peak to see the figure. Darkness engulfed his body as his cleaver dissapeared. With that done, he was now in Dark Starling, his strength and speed increased high while sacrifcing his defensive capabilities. Now he had to distract the person. Well, the adolescent Ex-Apprentice had to do something... which was why he summoned the five music bars to begin Shadow Melody. With his manipulation, he created a circle of bars around this person, no escape being possible.
With a forceful push, the teen was off towards his opponent in a great speed, his hand counducting roughly as he did so. This was where Dante would either die, or succeed!

Whuh oh. Big, bad, and scary was fast.
Shoving the gun over to her back, Mora turned and started to climb up the mountain. She'd had a contingency plan, of course. No need to have the Heartless person go and kill her. Reaching into her pockets, she activated an item that gave off a faint blue light. Mora also nudged something awake.
Yawning, and jumping out of her pocket and up to her shoulder, Bao gave Mora a dirty look. "I was having this reeeealy nice dr--"
Mora gave her the look.
Bao shut up. Readjusting her red snow cap, the small dog/monkey creature fell down to her pocket and grabbed a small sphere. She jumped up and around, feeding the bomb into Mora's gun.
Hefting herself up and over a ridge, Mora pulled the gun around to face the Heartless. Chnnchk. After a brief aim, Mora fired off another ice bullet, immediately followed by a second. These were intended to blast out whatever kneecaps this dark-powered person had.

So the figure was going to run, eh? Oh, well then. That didn't do wonders for his Shadow Melody then. The figure pulled out a small item that glowed faintly in it's hand, a small, muffled voice echoing through the mountain top. It was doing something, that sphere of the figure's, and when the person pointed the gun towards Dante, he cursed in his mind. The only thing left to do was... Damnit.
High Jump it was, but alas, even with the jump, he wasn't able to completely dodge the bullets that were zooming at him. They skimmed his leg, sending a freezing shock through his body. The warrior feel directly after contact with the projectile, the snow making the wound worse. There was nothing that Dante could do now except hide, so he did so. He got down and hid behind a tree, tending to his leg.
Blood was seeping out, making the Ex-Apprentice singe in pain. Snow and cloth was the one thing he needed. Snoiw would create water to disinfect the wound and cloth would keep the bleeding at bay. He ripped his grey undershirt and wrapped the cloth around his leg after packing a little snow in. Well, this person was definitely not the one to mess with... Then he had a plan. Something devious... something so cheap that not even this person would ever understand.
So, he spoke to the person in a casual tone. "Hey! Why the heck are you... trying to kill me? Eh!?" Maybe not that casual.

Eh? Not a Heartless then. Nobody, maybe?
"Weeeell, I kinda figured you were a Heartless!" shouted out Mora in response. "But given that you're talking, and you're seeping with dark energy, I'm thinking Nobody.
"Which," she continued as she grabbed a small circular object from Bao, "still results in the ame ending."
Gripping the Light Bomb, Mora chucked it up and over the ledge, aiming for where the foe had run.
BA-BOOM!

Female voice... Of course. Typical instigations because Dante utilized darkness. Well, the worst was yet to come as the light grenade came over the ledge. Here we go again, then. The Nightmare Shield came over Dante to protect him from the grenade's explosion. What did this girl not have!? Well, maybe not a little joggin' in the noggin'?
The shield broke apart, seeing as how the attack was made of light. "I'm neither! Do a little research next time and maybe you'll know who I am!" With that, the musical measures resurfaced around the girl in a circle. Darkness engulfed his hand. Thanks to her staying in place, the warrior was now going to take advantage.
"I'm human, by the way. Dante Hyubasi, to be exact. Now you've let your guard down by talking! Never let your guard down, especially with me. Shadow Melody!" The notes hovered over the first circle as Dante watched the girl. His leg was still paining him, but until the Dark Starling mode vanished, he would have to deal with the intense pain.

Well, crap. Big dark circle thing.
Flipping on her sheild, Mora ran forward through the darkness.
She also made sure her gun was still very attached to the strap.
"Bao! Get up here!"
Leaping up and around to Mora's shoulder, Bao gave Mora a questioning look.
Well, they were twenty feet in the air.
"Powering up. Now."
Mora pulled her gun up and aiming it at Dante. Bao filled the gun with energy, allowing Mora's next shot to cause temporary blindness (for the next two of Dante's posts).
And what was Mora firing? A Light Bomb she'd put in there earlier. By putting it in the weapon and letting it become a very focused bullet like object, the speed behind the thing was much more increased.
Not to mention the firepower.
Using her sheild to cushion the blow, Mora poked her other minion (Beau) to get him awake. She'll be needing him, if that didn't get rid of the darkness user.

What!? Why couldn't Dante see? What kind of trickey was this? Whatever it was, it wasn't a good thing, seeing as how the Ex-Apprentice really didn't have any abilities that could block whatever was coming at him next. His arm was stinging now, thanks to whatever the girl fired. Once he got his hands on this girl, she was going to be in for it, because once he had her in perfect radius, he was going to do the unimaginable. So, for the moment he was blinded, the warrior dashed forward, zigzagging across the snow to keep the girl's aim on him difficult.
This was something everyone should've learned when they were younger and in school. If a gunman comes into the school and you're confronted with him, run as fast as you can and zigzag to keep the you un amiable. To spice it up and keep it even harder for the girl to aim, the warrior stopped and jerked around every now and then. He had three more uses left on Shadow Melody and a use of Dark Pillar left. He also had one more shield and three Pulse Auras.
He spoke as he ran, a smile gleaming on his face. "So, now that you know I'm a human, why do you keep fighting me? Can't we make up? Besides, the more you fight, the easier it'll be for me to win. So give it up!"

Zig-zagging didn't work as well as Dante was pr'bly hoping. Being trained intensely in what you might call military boot camp does that to you: you aim like a pro, and learn to expect movements.
Which was why Mora gave Beau and Bao a heads up for the next move.
"Hup!"
"Hup!"
With the two powering her, Mora let loose a blast of her only spell: Gravira.
Snow across the area began to pull and fly towards Dante's head, which Mora guessed to be about the size of a basketball. Being that small, Gravira should be able to last two turns.
The increased weight on the head, not to mention wet ice, should seriously disorient Dante.
"You use darkness! I think it's safe to say you're not going to be my bestest friend in the whole wide world.
"Don't you?"

Dante fell backwards as the ice hit his face hard, his body being dragged down. Damn all. Well, what was happening? Ice was forming on the warrior and clinging onto him. His form was gone and so was his strength. The snow was packing down so fast that it was turning into ice quicker than the warrior could breathe. The girl could fight, Dante would give her that respect, but that was all.
The Ex-Apprentice decided to use that girl's weapon against her. Once he got close enough, he would knock it out quickly and finish her even faster. Then, he remembered something from the Apprentice Wars, a rule that he had to abide by. Rule one of the Apprentice Wars Regulations: A fighter may never use an opponent's weapon against them. This disgraces the opponent's family, Master and world. He had abided by that rule ever since he had heard it and he wasn't going to break it today.
Madam! I need your help! Lend me your strength! Hey there, Dante! Long time, no see. You need some help? Not from you! I need Madam! Madam is in a meeting, so you'll just have to wait. Meanie... Dante growled and knew that he would have to do this all himself if he were to win this.
A strange glow began to shine as the last of the ice covered the man and made a case. Then, there came the shout of true power. "Pulse Aura!" The ice blasted off in every direction, the man standing up as the ice pounded on him again. The cleaver appeared in Dante's right hand the warrior shoving it into the snow. He was blind, yes, but that didn't stop him from using common sense. Wherever the first bullet came the first shot, it would come from there again in such a short time.
Dante sat in front of the cleaver, facing away from the shooting range as the snow packed in. He wouldn't lose this one. The strangest thing began to happen then. The faintest glow of black began to appear on the hand of Dante, the dark energy from himself, the world and all of the inhabitants of this world being sucked in to his right hand. In place of the symbols appeared a crest. It was barely visible in the snow around him.
"You're wrong about everything you suspect! I'll show you why I'm the Ex-Apprentice of Darkness! I can't lose to you now... Not ever! It would disgrace my homeworld!" Dante decided to share with her why it would be disgraced. "Rule three of the Apprentice Wars Regulations: Losing a match disgraces both you and your homeworld! You will no longer be considered a fighter and you will be banished from your life forever!"

So now we're talking rules?
"Rules, eh?" Grinning despite the heavy fall, Mora raised an eyebrow in thought as she brought out another Light Bomb. "Okay, you got number three. So this means... I get the first two!"
Without any noise to discern the direction of the bomb, Mora gladly gave the ball a light toss into the air. Given that it was coming from the air, and aiming for the top of his head, (rather than his body, like the last two blasts) Dante shouldn't exactly be able to pull off escaping this blow.
True, the shield Mora had barely noticed might hamper the blow, but it wouldn't stop it completely if it happened before he knew it.
"So..." BOOM. Mora applauded herself for the timing of the banter. The blow wouldn't be expected from when she'd started the witty banter. "my first rule involves gravity!
"Aaaaand maybe a tree."
Two bombs are usually enough to bring a tree to it's knees. Three should be more than enough to bring the thing down. And given the nice angle... it looked like it gave off a pretty nice concave shape in the tree in Dante's general direction. The tree was big enough that it didn't matter.
And even then, the Gravira spell would certainly help with the aiming. Still, just in case, Mora got ready to flip her sheild on.
Mora's initial blind bit should've wearied off by now. However, the snow in his face should still have him basically blind for the next bit.
Mora pulled the gun up to have a good shot at Dante.
"You've got a tree on you, snow in your face, bloody knees, three Light Bombs worth of battle scars, and a really freaking huge gun that can make you deaf if you move a muscle on top of the blindness." In response to the deaf remark, Beau readied himself in Mora's pocket should the need arise.
"So... mind if I suggest giving up? If not, we could always go the avalanche route."

"I've got one more plan... Before I finish you..." With that, the Nightmare shield ressurected for the final time, since it was it's last use. Before so, the warrior turned around to face Mora, the cleaver still in the ground. Explosions bounced of, a fair amount of that damage hitting him though, and broke the shield of darkness, sending whatever frags were left into random directions. He cringed at the intense pain that he was feeling now pain. He probably wouldn't make it at all after the 1st Tactic. With the shield broken, the Warrior brought up his cleaver to add a little fluff to the force, but it still gave a decent amount of damge for a rolling tree. He had one more tactic... he had charged it long enough and now it was ready. With that tree in the way and a final use of his DS left, he was ready for the 1st tactic. Dante made it seem like he was vulnerable now, hiding behind the tree. Oh, don't think for one second that Dante isn't hurt! The energy it took to raise that shield was more than enough to drain him to half and after this next DS wears off, he'll be practically useless. The warrior pushed away the cleaver and, with his strength increased by tenfold, including his speed, he punched the tree with his left fist and sent the middle of the trunk aiming straight for the girl.
"This darkness in me rages," The warrior took out his Hero Drink, the one he had gotten from Wedge, and began to drink it, increasing his attack by double. That was twenty fold. Along with his charged ability, this attack could cause an extreme avalanche! The black aura was accompanied by the red aura of the Hero drink and now he dashed forward, his right hand ready to strike. The question, though, was who, or what, he was planning on striking.
"It tells me to finish you! Now, feel all of my Hatred, my Rage, and all of my Agony!" He was coming down that deadly fist of his reaching for the damn ball thing of that girl's. "Shadow Finger!" Now, if he hit the little bugger, the force would probably bring the girl down to her knees and cause a decent amount of pain since it was a jab. It was over twentyfold of his original strength with the added bonus of Shadow Finger, right? Even if the boy didn't hit the ball OR the girl, it would cause the snow to erupt and create that avalanche. Since he was close enough, he would also be able to use Pulse Aura. This time, being so close was a good thing since, with his Dream Sword equip he had bought from Big, that Pulse Aura would not only break bones at this range, but if he grabbed her and held on, it would cause extreme damage. Now only time would tell whichever outcome happens.
(OOC:I didn't use Pulse Aura this post. So lets move on.)

Mora sighed from her position behind Dante. Avalanche after all, eh?
Good thing there were alternatives.
Gravira just ended. However, thanks to her Beau and Bao, Mora was able to cast Gravira again.
However...
...instead of aiming at Dante's head, she decided to go for his shoe.
Funny thing, that. Did you know that it's just as easy to force a cleaver down on someone's shoes than to have most, if not all, of an avalanche land on one person? Funny thing, gravity.
Walking up behind Dante, Mora brought out a fourth Light Bomb. As she chucked it, she cast Gravira on Dante's right foot.
BA-BOOM.
By now, the big wave of snow was practically upon them. Flipping on her shield, Mora braced herself for the worst.
With Beau and Bao's help, she reduced the cooldown time of her shield to zero. Sadly, it left just one more use for it. (The cutting of cooldown, not shield.) With the Shell thing though, a nice magical shield-like thing she'd pulled out and used earlier, the shield should last more than the avalanche.
Of course, being so close to Dante had obvious risks. But this is why the gun she had was very very pointy.
In anticipation of Tall Dark and Mean's move to attack, Mora brought the gun and and ready.
And promptly went to stab Dante up and through the chest. At the same time, she fired off the aforementioned bullet with deafness added on. For good measure, she let off a normal one too.
Sadly, it left her out of ammo. But luckily, more was on the way! (The avalanche!)
[NOTE! Your item that powers up Pulse Aura restricts it's use to every three turns. This means you cannot use it the post after this.]

(OOC:Haha! But you see, that Dante is a warrior and thanks to that, he only has to wait ONE turn. It says so.
Also, your Gravity spell has a Five turn cool down.
Also, when looking at your profile, I never saw that it cut the cooldown TWICE. It said if both were together, the cooldown time would be halved. Not "If one of the minions are with Mora, they cut one abilitie's cooldown in half." And, last time I checked, 5/2 equals 2.5. You wouldn't have been able to use Gravira on me for another two posts.
And this,
Which shield are you using? Are you using your Shield ability or the Shell Curtain? And since Mora is a Mystic, I doubt that she'd be using Shell Aura without the proper equip.
WOOOOOOO! When did Mora ever get behind Dante? If I'm correct, When Dante used Shadow Finger, he dashed forward and aimed for one of your minions.
Where is the trunk that you had to dodge? If you used one of your abilities, then please enlighten me on how you completely dodged the trunk.
These are the problems that I have found. If you have any problems with MY posts, please state them. All of my attacks and techniques can be backed up.
)
P.S. Sorry if I'm being a little too... Whatever you would wish to call me.
