Physical appearance ~ : Frog was once a human named Glenn. He was cursed by the Fiendlord Magus to bear the form of a frog for the rest of his days. He was recently granted a brief glimpse back into humanity again, during which time his dark green hair had grown long from his many years of being a hairless creature, though he would cut it for a more knightly appearance once he was able. Glenn had green eyes as a human which matched his hair and would now currently have a very prominent physique and stature.
The man has now returned to his cursed form. In his frog state Glenn is shorter than even a young teenager and bears a head almost the size of his torso. His legs are shorter than his arms, which are quite thin(Though he has been known to pump them up when flexing). These changes in form do not rob Frog of his ability in battle though. He has no hair, green skin with a yellow-white underbelly starting at his mouth and a few frog-whiskers on his head. In this state Glenn's yes are entirely yellow with black pupils. He also has four brown line markings that run over the top of his head and face.
Clothing/Accessories ~ : Frog is clad in unceremonious squire and adventurer gear rather than that of a knight, which he has donned again despite his recent official knighting. He wears white pants and blue shoes, a bronze plate over his chest and back and black gloves. Perhaps his most prominent article is his brownish-green cape, which flaps behind him as he hops around. Lastly, Glenn is also the bearer of the Hero's Medal, a round golden badge with the image of a warrior's head on it. This item is associated with the prophesied appearance of humanity's saviour over the Fiends in the land of Guardia, and otherwise thought to be held by true heroes or those professing to be one. It is concealed most of the time, though.

Alignment ~ : Hero
Behavior ~ : Frog's normal behaviour at this point in his life is embodied by his oath to carry the dreams of his dead friend Cyrus. After fully coming to terms with his difficult past and learning a true hero's strength comes from an unburdened heart Frog is now a very gentle soul who burns brightly when danger descends upon his home or his friends. Glenn has learned to be forgiving but fair, gentle but tough and honest but understanding. He dislikes violence as much now as he did as a child but has grown to believe that it is sometimes necessary to protect others and will do so without hesitation. The safety of his home and his people is always Frog's main concern over his own well-being.

Primary Weapon(s)
ID: Masamune
Quality: Fine
A master sword forged by the Guru of Life, this broadsword can be wielded either one-handed or two. It has a yellow guard set with gems, a red-covered hilt and a blade that appears pure white when in Frog's hands, but a darker steel grey otherwise.
Critical Hit
Occasionally the force behind the Masamune's blows will explode with additional power. This causes the strength and cutting ability of the blade to momentarily triple in that one instance.
Strength: Weak
Uses: Minimum of 3 turns between uses
Mage Masher
The Masamune will automatically deal increased damage to Mystic-Class characters and NPCs/creatures of a magical nature. Its very touch will retain a lasting harm on whatever it affects, as if it were still burning painfully like a low-level acid on their body or in their wounds for 2 of their turns after the actual contact. This pain will not cause the wounds to grow or form without the physical blade but it will continue to sap at the afflicted one's focus and stamina by a small degree. This effect does not occur against non-mystical targets.
Strength: Weak
Uses: Passive
The Blade of Magic's Bane
The Masamune's blade has the power to weaken any form of magic that it touches by a factor of 1/3, though it will not stop the magic from happening or existing. Touching a person it is cast on will allow the Masamune to weaken passive or enhancement type magics which affect that person. A weakened magic will return to full power after 4 turns unless the Masamune touches it again during that period to reset the weakening timer. This power of the Masamune can also be focused into a single powerful burst, which will take the form of a growing bubble lined in white. The bubble's full size is a sphere with a 10 meter radius. Any active magic or otherwise unnatural forces and/or senses that got within the sphere will be erased, but only for that area. This will not prevent the magic from being cast anew, but only a completely new activation of the magic will allow it to return to that space.
Strength: Moderate
Uses: Magic weakening passive. Minimum 8 turn wait between uses of anti-magic field. If this power is activated then Frog's Masamune will also not automatically weaken magic at the touch until this waiting period is over.
Strength: Weak
Uses: Passive
Secondary Weapon(s)
ID: None

Frog Arts
Abilities gained by the swordsman Glenn only because of his cursed form. These skills are made possible thanks to the amphibian body that performs them.
Slurp: Frog shoots out his long and stretchy tongue with the speed of a whip and the accuracy of his sword. It is very sticky at the end, capable of latching firmly onto a human being or their clothes, and can snap back to him very quickly. The force of the whip snap is greater than a real whip would be in Frog's hands thanks to his unnatural nature and its strength can pull things up to 250 Kg(Aprx. 550 pounds), though obviously not as quickly for heavier things unless there's little/no friction. It should also be noted that frog's tongue is as resilient as it is stretchy and a normal bladed weapon would not be able to cut it... though it would certainly hurt. Slurp can reach a distance of up to fifteen feet.
Aerial Strike: The first phase of Aerial Strike is Frog's inhuman jumping ability. In his cursed form Glenn can jump up to 40 feet into the air. This grants him optimal use of the second phase, where its real power lies. Aerial Strike's true form is unleashed when Frog grips his weapon in both hands and stabs it in any direction while he is in mid-air. This stabbing motion propels Frog up to 20 feet in any direction at 60 miles per hour, piercing his weapon through armours, shields and mystic barriers. Aerial Strike can not break defence abilities of a higher strength level than itself. If Frog happens to choose straight down as his direction of attack then he can do so at terminal velocity, roughly 120 miles per hour. If a terminal descent is used Frog's weapon will become lodged and stuck in whatever he strikes, be it enemy or just earth, for his entire next turn. If such a move hits though the damage done is three times that of a normal stab attack. Regardless of his direction of choice Frog can only move in a straight line when using Aerial Strike.
Strength: Moderate
Uses: Slurp: Unlimited; Aerial Strike: 2 turn cooldown per use
Water Magic
Frog focuses the mystical force of the element of water that was awakened within him by Spekkio, his world's god of war. Having this mystical force within him also makes Frog slightly more resistant to water/ice elemental attacks used against him, but even more vulnerable to the element of fire.
Water: By casting the magic spell Water Frog creates a bubble nearby that is larger than a normal fully-grown human, easily three meters in diameter. It is sent bobbing up and down in one direction at a pace that could be easily outran by a normal human, followed by a few smaller bubbles in its wake. The bubble can be created around something or someone as well, allowing them to floating within it as it moves. On contact with anything the bubble bursts and sprays damaging water-elemental magic in the two meter diameter area around its previous limit while exuding enough force to knock a normal person back five feet. If broken from the inside, however, all of its force will shoot in the direction that the popping force was moving it, amplifying its power and the water's range to about five meters in distance with the original three meter diameter. If popped from inside by a character then that character sustains no damage from Water. Causes water/ice elemental damage.
Water II: By casting the magic spell Water II Frog can create a large wave of blue water and bubbles nearby that is about six meters across to wash forward over a distance of ten meters, at which length it will begin to disappear and its starting point will wash forward until it reaches the ending point and the spell stops. Water II's wave is four meters high and will not defy gravity, though its beginning point can be created in the air and gush out in a desired direction. Water II will not pop a bubble created with Water if they touch. Causes water/ice elemental damage.
Strength: Moderate
Uses: W1: 10 uses per battle; W2: 5 uses per battle
Frog Squash
Frog's ultimate magic spell creates a giant green spotted frog that has all the colours of the rainbow flowing across it in waves. The construct appears 20 feet in the air above the ground or above a specific target if aerial, then falls down to squash anything below it. The frog is about the size of a one-story single residence home. It is not really a living thing and so simply stares blankly into space and does not move. The frog's skin is extremely resistant to damage of any kind, so attacking it with weapons or magic yields little to no result in destroying it but may be forceful enough to move something of its weight and change its direction. Once landed the frog bounces into the air up to ten feet and can also move horizontally by ten feet at this time in order to try and land on more targets. It will bounce at the beginning of its second and third turns of life, so twice in total before the third and final squash, at which point it does bounce again but becomes intangible and vanishes into the ground instead of bouncing. Anyone not a target of Frog Squash, such as Frog himself or his allies, can't move if they are within the frog's mass but they will not be harmed or hindered from seeing outside of the frog's body. The frog is, in fact, completely hollow though thick-skinned. The weight of Frog Squash is dependent upon Frog's health and stamina upon the time of casting, as this will affect how much water is filling it. When he is at full strength Frog Squash has no water in it at all. The hollow shell itself weighs about 100 Kg(Aprx. 220 pounds). At half-health it weighs 550 Kg(Aprx. 1200 pounds), and when its caster is at their limit of health in a critical condition it will weigh 1 metric ton(1000 Kg, aprx. 2205 pounds ), with a matching rate of increment in between these extreme examples(The water within the frog weights up to 900 Kg(Aprx. 2000 pounds) when filled. Its weight is not dependent on actual scientific volumes. This is magic, people). The frog's body is still fairly soft rather than metallic hard though, so the weight won't necessary pancake a person it lands on immediately except when approaching weight in the metric tons.
Strength: Weak
Uses: Lasts 3 turns from its conjuring. 3 uses per battle.

An ageless tale told time and time again.
Our legend begins with a young human boy named Glenn, born in the kingdom of Guardia late into its fifth century of being. Despite his age this boy was quite gifted in the martial arts of swordplay, yet a gentler heart could not be found. Even when attacked by bullies Glenn would refrain from fighting back to avoid accidentally hurting anyone. This boy had a friend though. A few years older than he, Cyrus was closer than a brother to Glenn and the two grew up together. Cyrus was not as skilled as Glenn, but his will to fight was stronger and he protected his friend.
During their time the Kingdom found itself on the verge of war against a race of monstrous folk called the Fiends, who's new leader was said to be quite powerful. Cyrus left home to join the knights of Guardia so he could defend his land should the worst happen. Which it did. Because of his will to both improve and use his craft Cyrus did surpass Glenn in skill and eventually became the Captain of King Guardia's army. As war with the Fiends dragged on and lives were lost Cyrus decided to set out to fulfill a legend: To find the magic-rending blade known as the Masamune and use it to defeat Magus, the shadowmage Fiendlord. Accompanying Cyrus on his quest was none other than the true protagonist of our tale, Glenn, who had been squired to the knight in order to accompany him.
The first task was to find the Hero's Medal, an item long held by a monster called the Frog King which was said to be the symbol of a true hero's appearance. Cyrus' skills easily defeated the toad and claimed the badge. Next he and Glenn traveled to the mountain where the Masamune slept, but were greeted by disaster. Magus and his second-in-command Ozzie met them there shortly after Cyrus began trying to earn his right to wield the blade from its guardians. The sword was broken into two bent halves and Cyrus severely injured. He implored Glenn to flee while he held the enemies back with one last effort, but the boy could not run and watched Cyrus die, clutching the bent hilt of the sword. For his presence Ozzie convinced Magus to turn Glenn into the form of a humanoid frog, after which he was promptly discarded. The Hero's Medal floated down the mountain's river, eventually coming to a rest right next to the awakening cursed body of Glenn.
For years the cursed swordsman who now called himself Frog served his country as a guardian of the royal family, such as by rescuing Queen Leene when she was kidnapped by monsters. The years were taking their toll on him though and he eventually abandoned that duty as well, even losing the Hero's Medal one day at a pub.
It was three young time-traveling adventurers that one day brought Frog the bent blade of the Masamune. They needed help defeating Magus before he could create a monster that would one day destroy their future. Frog needed time to think, for the sword was already destroyed and beyond repair by any living smith. Amazingly enough the three heroes returned again after taking his piece, the Masamune fully restored. Even the Hero's Medal was promptly recovered.
Taking the bade and blade Frog made an oath to carry on the dreams and will of Cyrus in hsi life, then claimed the Masamune as his own and used it to cut open the sealed pathway to the Fiendlord's castle. Inside he and the others battled Magus, only to learn he was not the monster's creator.
Many adventures followed as Frog traveled with a growing group of heroes through many time periods to find a way to stop the beast Lavos from ending their world's future, eventually learning that it fell from outer space and burrowed deep into the world's center billions of years before any of their times(Except for a certain cave woman's who they picked up). It was in a magical kingdom 1200 years before the establishment of Guardia that they faced Lavos for the first time, but its power was too great and their leader Crono was killed.
In the aftermath Frog acted as their leader and eventually discovered Magus once more. Despite dishonouring their fallen friend Frog did not slay Magus, for he had learned of the man's own troubled history now and knew that continued violence between them would not solve anything. The shadowmage in turn gave them knowledge that offered a chance to restore Crono's life, which they did, and also joined their cause.
After mustering their strengths the group faced Lavos one final time and successfully destroyed the parasite on the eve of its awakening. A future of hope was restored and all returned to their own times, except for Magus. Many things had happened and ex-Fiendlord had chsoen to give up his existence. Not long after coming home Frog's true form was restored by Magus' "death" and he was knighted in Guardia. All seemed well in 600 AD.
But then too quickly Sir Glenn found himself undergoing a familliar change and once more Frog walked in the world. Confused by this change of events our protagonist was visited in his dreams by Masa and Mune, the dreams of Melchior, the sword's creator, who made up the Masamune. They said that Magus' power had been reborn in a new form, thus causing Frog's curse to return as well. But it was no longer located on their world... Frog would have simply lived out his life as-is if not for a warning from Masa and Mune. Lavos had destroyed the wall that blocked the outside universe from invading this one when it crashed down back in 65,000,000 BC and scattered its pieces farther out into space. The great parasite's presence had kept the great darkness beyond from finding the world after the wall was demolished and continued to do so even after its death, but now Magus' knowledge of their world might one day lead that darkness back here. Especially now that this reborn power had no heart to guide its actions.
To combat this threat Frog left the Masamune in the care of the Guradia royal family as an heirloom to be kept safe. It rested there for 400 years until Masa and Mune visited Crono's dreams in 1000 AD, not long after he had returned from the fight with Lavos. At their request he used his status as the land's hero to retrieve the sword from the royal treasury and stopped their genius ally Lucca from dismantling their time machine soon enough to make a visit to the Middle Ages. There Frog awaited him and was given the Masamune of the present to wield. He journeyed back to that present time with Crono, for they were told that it was that age in which this new form of Magus' power existed, somewhere beyond the stars. Masa and Mune were weary after having to remain vigilant for so long, waiting for the right time to contact Crono and unable to risk falling asleep. Needing their rest after so many years the Masamune of the present's power was now diminished. It would slowly regain its former might as the two dreams rested and became familliar with battle once more through use.
Because their target lay beyond their world now, the same Sea of Stars from which Lavos had fallen long ago, Frog needed a way to search for this new Magus. Lucca's teleportation device was modified and perfected beyond the need of two separate units for leave and arrive locations(Which actually took about another 1000 years but they had friends in future places). It was now set to transport into the great beyond, to a place where much of the universe's presence flowed. She hoped it would allow someone to find a world to land on instead of empty space, and one that was capable of interstellar travel. The risk was high, but Frog accepted it boldly. At his side stood Crono, wishing to accompany his friend on this daunting quest. Only two could go at once and the machine would need time to recharge after that. If any others were to come with them then they would have to wait.
Suited with their only way home, portable teleportation-reversal devices that would call them back to the place they had come from, Frog and Crono were sent shooting out into the Sea of Stars as pure energy. In the fragment-formed world of Traverse Town they emerged and thus a new tale of heroes and adventures began.

Deep down the heart of Glenn lives on in the swordsman Frog. That human was full of kindness, wishing no harm to others from defending himself even when his skill with a blade surpassed that of those around him. Even as a monster he chose the path of the Guardian to protect his country.
However, he has since claimed the will and dreams of the Warrior Cyrus as his own and will walk with that oath until the end of his days.
