A fierce battle swelled within the fake Karakura Town created by Kisuke Urahara. The Espada, highest and most powerful of all Arrancar began a battle with the Captains and Lieutenants of Soul Society, clashing swords and releasing their fury on each other. After having defeated Ulquiorra and Yammy within Hueco Mundo, Ichigo and friends returned to help in the battle against Aizen and his company of Arrancar. After days of combat, there were only three whom remained alive, fighting each other with the last of their strength and power that they could muster; Ichigo squaring off against Aizen and Gin Ichimaru. The three wounded warriors clashed together for one final attack, in which the greatest hope the world had, fell to the last bit of strength of the former Shinigami.
Soul Society came under panic, their forces not returning from the battles for days, and then weeks, and then months. They were sent into disarray, scrambling to recover what they had lost for Aizen's coming attack, but none came. Years passed, and still no attack from the might of Aizen and Gin, who should have been able to wipe out the remaining forces of the now leaderless Soul Society. Immediately following the apparent defeat of their leaders, however, the human world became under constant attack from Hollow, and even Arrancar alike. The masses of Hollow and Arrancar ran rampant across the human plane, devouring souls and destroying entire cities; it was then that Soul Society made it's decision.
Soul Society sent as many forces as it could to wipe out what threat there was in the world, while the specialized Kido Corps took action. As the Shinigami ended the threat thought to be brought on by Aizen as he regained strength, and returned to Soul Society, the Kido Corps banded together to form a gigantic stasis field, large enough to cover the entirety of the human world, ceasing time in the human realm. This stasis field stopped time in the human world, and prevented all Garganta and Senkaimon activity into and out of the human world for three hundred years, in return for the sacrifice of thirty Shinigami's lives. Thirty of the Kido Corps members died that day to protect the world from the masses of Hollow forces from destroying it, and the world was left alone and trapped in a stasis of time for three hundred years.
During the time of peace, Soul Society regained it's strength, naming a new Commander General to lead the divisions, and found new and strong Captains to fill the gaps of the lost. Prosperity and peace came over Soul Society, all was thought well. In the depths of Hueco Mundo, however, a dark secret lay in wait for all. The night that Aizen and Gin had retreated to Hueco Mundo after the great battle to recover their strength with rest, they encountered something they had not foreseen. As they exited their Garganta into Las Noches, a man waited for them, sitting on top of Aizen's throne as they entered. The true, and original Cero Espada had returned, the first and original Arrancar to have forcefully removed his own mask as a Vasto Lorde. When Aizen had first arrived in Hueco Mundo after being revealed as a traitor to Soul Society, he had found this powerful Arrancar, roaming the area of what was now Las Noches. After finding this Arrancar unfit to follow his ideals and plans, Aizen, Gin, and Tousen betrayed his trust and banished him to the depths of the Gillian Forest, unable to escape a powerful Bakudo which forced him to remain. More powerful than even Aizen, the original Arrancar now labeling himself 'Cero Espada', spent his time breaking through the three's spell, and had finally done so.
Cero killed Aizen and Gin that night, claiming Las Noches as his own, and took possession of the Hougyoku. Three hundred years have now passed in Soul Society since the stasis field was activated, and the great Bakudo spell that took the entire Kido Corps to create, has fallen. Once again, Hollows and Shinigami alike can travel into the human world, and it seems almost instantly that the Hollows have noticed the defense is down. Cero has created and built and army of Arrancar superior to their predecessors and armed with an army, and the new ten Espada, Cero begins his plans to demolish the human world, and claim Soul Society as his own.
Will you side with Soul Society and defeat the looming threat? Or will you side with the darkness of Hueco Mundo?
