AN ANITA BLAKE BASED STORYLINE
St. Louis, Missouri -- Gateway to the West. The world has changed, but is it for the better. Human beings are now the minority in a land filled with vampires, shapeshifters, the fey, and those gifted with unique extraordinary abilities that sets them apart from the rest of the population. Will these people be accepted into the society, or are they forever segregated. St. Louis becomes the primary hotspot for all the preternatural activity. ...
But not everyone is a fan of the vampires and the shapeshifters, and the unique paranormal individuals. Amongst the people there are those that oppose the very notion of such things mingling as a part of the human race. Out of these individuals includes the notorious Senator of Missouri, Bill Wright. Adored by the people and quite popular in the votes, and the favorable candidate to become the next elected candidate for the presidency; the general public, however, are unaware of his extracurricular activities and the fact he is severly anti-lycanthrope. From this, Senator Wright has lent finances to build The Wright Concentration Camp.
The Wright Concentration Camp is located on the outskirts of St. Louis and kept closed off from the public. It is located in northern St. Charles County, a few miles outside of St. Peters in the grassy open land in the country. The gated establishment is used for the capture and imprisonment of shapeshifters who are brought here, and some never again see or experience life outside these walls.
When a lycanthrope is caught and brought to the Wright Concentration Camp, they are processed and given a "dog tag" indicating what flavor of lycanthrope the individual is infected, and a metal collar that can pour electricity into the body by a remote control used by the administration in the compound. After the processing, the lycanthrope is led to confinement; a small individual enclosure, in which they will call home, with no hope of ever returning to the outside world.
The Wright Concentration Camp, kept in secret and disclosed from the public and the press, is known for the elaborate experiments performed on the prisoners.
The Baxter House of the Paranormal, founded by the hunter, Johnny Baxter. The establishment was founded in 1935 and is located in southern St. Louis county in the flowing hills near Arnold, Missouri, just 30 minutes south east of St. Louis. The Baxter House of the Paranormal takes part in removing hostile and dangerous known paranormals off the streets. The system is set up like a boarding house, or a juvenile hall, where the paranormals are sent to be rehabilitated out to the public. If the individual is considered too dangerous to live in public, then this is where they remain.
Individuals are catalogued and are placed in dormitory rooms that can be used by one or two roomates. The house, itself, is magically secured with a barrier that prevents any paranormal in using their abilities from within the compound and 10 yards around the external perimeter. Many believe, the Baxter House is unconstitutional to the rights of the paranormal community and even in human communities. There are protests that march in Washington and Downtown St. Louis annually for the removal of the Baxter House in it's entirety, calling it a disgrace to the human race: paranormal or not. No protests, in the years since the boarding house was open, has been successful to this day.
Amongst the humans, a mutation has formed, a thousand years in the making. This new mutation is rare amongst the human population, but however, it is present. These people with the unique, unspecified blood type, have the power to cause vampires to grow ill when tasted, and the possibility of having the cure to lycanthropy when coming in contact with a lycan. These people have come to be known as Catalysts. When and if their existence becomes acknowledged in the preternatural, the thought of war has the potential to erupt. Races will be pitted against each other, and fear amongst the immortals will develop. Which side, when the fall out begins, will you be on. When the uprising feels only days away, will you be prepared the face the dawning of a new era.
What happens when the indestructible realize they are in fact vulnerable. What happens when the shapeshifters accept they can be normal again.
The question remains:
What would you do to survive?

A CHANGE IN BLOOD
Amongst the humans, a mutation has formed, a thousand years in the making. This new mutation is rare amongst the human population, but however, it is present. IN CONCLUSION . . .
What happens when the indestructible realize they are in fact vulnerable. What happens when the shapeshifters accept they can be normal again.
