As you are heading out the door of your house, a small glimmer of light catches your eye. You turn around and see a mirror, putting you face to face with your reflection.

Physical appearance ~ :

The first thing someone will notice (provided he isn't invisible) is that Oblivion is big... very big. Not even fat, Oblivion's bulk is purely toned muscle. He has two forms, both of which are fairly similar in size in comparison, but different in weight. His first form has no feet and where his feet should be is nothing but what looks like a black, genie-like tail protruding out of the shadows. Oblivion is also usually completely invisible in this form, not even casting a shadow on the ground.

The second form is always visible and really emphasizes Oblivion's size; standing taller then even a Behemoth Heartless but not by to much with a pair of long arms. His legs are shorter then his arms infact, ending with a pair of large, hand-like feet giving him a hunched and ape-like quality that forces him to usually drag himself along with his powerful arms. Both forms are fairly similar in size, but in both he has a large glowing red eye with a series of smaller white circles inside the red.

As you're walking through the door, you see many sights that influence your mood. The different feelings that suddenly wash over you are many, leaving you with a strange mix of emotions.

Behavior ~ : Oblivion being a Heartless, is more prone to impulses then a Somebody with a heart. Infact, now that he has actually obtained more hearts, he feels them even more strongly then a Somebody. He is commonly mistaken as a giant, stupid creature from his quietness, but those assumptions are unfounded. Oblivion is actually quite wise and displays a limited level of sentience that has grown over time. He's not brilliant per say, but he's still clever for a heartless. Oblivion is also not naturally hostile and can actually be very docile- it's just his mistress who gets him to act the way he does.

He cares for her and protects her; acting as her guardian and friend. Oblivion obeys her single mindedly, willing to plunge entire worlds into darkness just to try make her happy- though he can never take the place of her lost love... something which Oblivion is secretly jealous of for unexplained reasons. So long as his mistress keeps point him at worlds, Oblivion will continue to plunge them into darkness!

Bare hands: Oblivion is a giant, it would be absurd for such a large creature to even use weapons unless they too were giant. So Oblivion smashes things with his giant fists...

Invisibility
During his legless form, Oblivion can choose to become completely invisible to the naked mortal eye. This invisiblity is so advanced infact, that he doesn't even cast a shadow. That is not to say he can't be "seen" as there do exist some magical tools which can see through this ability as do certain beings. Everyone else will just have to be creative and dump dirt on his body, or find some way of marking Oblivion's body to be able to see him- or simply listen to the sound of Oblivion's fists literally piercing the air. He also has a scent which can be tracked.

Shadowmeld
An ability he has had ever since he was just a wee shadow heartless; normally used to meld into the ground by flattening the body into a two dimensional shape for about three seconds. With time, Oblivion has actually improved the ability significantly to instead allow himself to travel between shadows, literally able to shoot out of the shadows in the corner of a room for a surprise attack; commonly used in conjunction with his legless form, allowing him to stretch his body toward his enemies with the aid of his invisibility.

Strength: Weak
Uses: Can be used for an entire post, but must wait a post to use again.

Dark attacks
Being a Heartless, Oblivion is naturally given the ability to use the darkness in his attacks. Sometimes his fists may radiate an unearthly blackish glow as he swings them at his enemies, but he also has the ability to throw down a swirling vortex into the ground. Similar to a darkside, instead of spawning shadow heartless, the vortex simply buffets anyone caught in it with razor cold currents of darkness. Oblivion also HAS access to ranged attacks that use darkness, but he's mostly a close combat orientated heartless and so doesn't use them to often.

Strength: Moderate
Uses: Can be used multiple times a post, no cool down. The vortex attack can only be used once a post.

Thick Hide
Oblivion is not big simply for the sake of being big; his body is rippleling with muscle that gives him a small resistance against any form of damage; magic or physical. (10% resistance overall)

Not much is known about Oblivion's mysterious origins. No one even knows how the heartless are even "born" other then they are born from the darkness in people's hearts. Oblivion is a purebred, however and so was born of the darkness itself. Before the days of ansem, Oblivion could not interact with the "otherside", the place that all heartless could sense yet never enter. The darkness itself hungered for this otherside and for many generations could do nothing but hunger with it's children. However, one of the denizens of these many worlds did something that angered the powers that be greatly.

Using their powerful magic, these people tried to reach the sacred realm of Kingdom Hearts where they believed the gods themselves existed, but above all else they wanted to get the power of Kingdom Hearts so that they could take their place among the gods. Fearing this, the gods punished them and imprisoned their powers, sealing them within powerful artifacts before casting them into the dark realm. The darkness was overjoyed to finally feast apon those from the otherside and had it's children attack at once!

This tribe of people though powerful in magic, could do little against the never ending horde of dark creatures which hungered for their hearts- wanting to fill the void. Eventually the people become one with the dark creatures, those who hadn't been swallowed up by the darkness losing almost all hint of their formerselves until the darkness itself no longer hungered for them. They were mere husks of their formerselves, but still had their hearts unlike the nobodies. For some time these people and the heartless co-existed, almost feeling like they were destined for eachother until a ripple went through the dark realm.

A man by the name of Xehanort, calling himself Ansem in later years, had done the unthinkable; he had actually opened a gateway that the very first shadow heartless used to exist in the other place. After that first heartless, the darkness itself finally found passage into the other place as this... "man" allowed it to fill his heart. A large influx of heartless were now free to ravage the various worlds of the otherplace. The heartless were not the only ones that benefitted, but also the tribe of people who had been imprisoned there by the gods could also now intermingle with the denizens of the otherplace.

That is when one of them fell in love with a man, a virtuous knight who's heart was strong and vibrant with passion. This girl fell deeply in love with this man and together they made plans to marry, but something happend which broke her heart. Unkbeknownst to her people, a young boy with a keyblade defeated Xehanort's heartless and then locked away Kingdom Hearts- closing the only door that them and the darkness could use to interact with the otherplace. Though as it turned out, the heartless actually could still go to the otherplace, using the winding paths of the dark corridors that Xehanort had so cleverly made.

Now seperated from her love, her heart cried out to the darkness to help her. A heartless was sympathetic to her cries, a heartless which she would refer to as Oblivion due to it's nature of consuming hearts and never being satisfied. Oblivion was still young, however and so the girl directed him after those he could take hearts from. She was pained to do this at first, but only her broken heart really cared for was to see her lost love again and that was all Oblivion cared about aswell. As he became stronger, Oblivion took on stronger opponents and continued to grow in strength; eventually taking the hearts of powerful creatures which bloated his body to what it was now.

Now truely powerful, Oblivion follows the commands of his mistress without fail; feeling an unheard of desire to make her happy as she tells him that he must reopen Kingdom Hearts- to connect the worlds once more as they were before the boy and the keyblade. Oblivion follows this as he can, feeling nothing for the people who he stole hearts from; all that mattered was doing what she asked of him...

Bare with me as this is a new angle I'm trying out.

Interesting character.

Although there are a few problems. With Invisibility, if your character can't be seen, then it basically nullifies all attacks against it, plus you have the upper hand of being able to attack in this form. To be fair, please make it so that he's either partially visible (translucent) - it's more difficult to see him but still possible - or state that he cannot attack while in this form.

For Dark Attacks, most of it is fine because it is a moderate ability, however if you want to include the ranged attacks I would make it a strong ability. You might just want to get rid of that part.

Finally, for Thick Hide, could you be a bit more specific on how much damage it blocks? It's a weak ability, so like 10%? Also, does it only protect against physical attacks or does it also work with magic based attacks?

I personally see no reason to edit the invisibility thing... making him translucent is pretty much the opposite of being invisible and I can already see threads going, "hey whats that translucent thing floating around there?" which would be very annoying and absurd.

I did say that his fists make a noise as their hurling toward someone, giving them a chance to jump out of the way. I could have it so that his whole body does that- which makes some sense since he's so big. I'd also like to point out that there are certain people who can still see him regardless. Could say Psychics or something along those lines- he can still be sensed if someone has that trait, they just can't see his form.

And the hide... I was not aware I would even need to describe it even further then that for a weak ability. Obviously it would only offer him alittle protection for being weak... seems like a big waste of time for me- and it also protects against magic. I should have said damage instead of attack >.>;

I see several problems.

Transforming between legless form and leg form should be counted as an ability.

Invisibility: Cannot be passive. Not at this state when it's still a weak ability. Currently, the ability is about moderate strength. The ability must have a greater flaw than just 'you can hear him moving'. I would like you to limit movement to walking pace for now [speed walking]. The speed can increase once you upgrade the ability. He's allowed to attack with his normal strength, but any movement faster than walking speed would reveal his form. Thus giving characters time to see Oblivion's form seconds before attacking. Whether they are able to dodge the attack or not would all depend on them. Fair?

Shadowmeld: I need another flaw. Perhaps a distortion of shades in the shadows for those with sharper eyes. Of course, under the light, he would just be a blob of shadow in the ground, correct? And I need a longer post cool down for this weak ability. Longer than just 1 post.

Is he safe from any form of attacks during this state?

Shadow Attacks: Give a size for the vortex. And you didn't remove what Rhea asked you to.
