Even on a normal day, the city of Bevelle was beautiful. With it's palace-like homes, with their own personal towers reaching up into the sky, and it's tiled walkways, most denizens of Spira could only dream of living there. But today, it was exceptionally wonderful. Hundreds of balloons dotted the sky, some loose in the air, others held tight in the hands of beaming children. Streamers and ribbons hung from windows, each displaying some variation of the phrase 'congratulations'. Although to some that weren't aware of why the Bevellians were celebrating, it may seem like a bit much, it was all very fitting. For Sin was defeated. That meant two years of calm, two years where the people of Spira could live without fear, without having to worry about their friends, families, and even themselves dying.
But as multi-colored opticals looked down on the parade below, feet dangling out of the highest window of her home, Yuna couldn't join in. Yes, she was glad that the people could be happy, but her father succeeding meant that he was dead, as was one of his guardians. It was the way of the summoner, as her father had told her every time she would begin to bawl at the thought of him going off to die. But no matter how badly she wished to just climb into her bed and cry, to just reminisce about all of the wonderful experiences she had shared with her father, she couldn't. She was now the daughter of the High Summoner, after all. That meant that she would now be in the public eye, no matter how badly she tried to avoid it, and she would be a role model for the people of Spira. A big task for such a young girl, but she was strong. She would endure.
The sound of the door opening behind her was all the warning she had before someone walked into her room. Wiping the unbidden tears from her face, she turned to see someone she did not know. It was not either one of her father's guardians, as she could tell, but a being she had only heard stories about. This was a Ronso, creatures hailing from Mount Gagazet. "C-can I help you?" She inquired, eyes squinting ever-so-slightly as she gazed at the cat-like creature. Rather than responding, he handed her a letter with her father's familiar seal on the flap. What could this possibly mean?

Being raised in Bevelle meant that Yuna had never really had a chance to go out and see the world. The furthest she had ever traveled was to the Calm Lands, on a fiend hunting trip with her father, and that was right on the outskirts of the city in which she was born. But this island, on the very edge of Spira, was different in so many ways from the city she was accustomed to. While Bevelle was all about riches and majestic homes, Besaid was small, with a much more... realistic feel to it. As she had so constantly been reminded, Bevelle was focused on the teachings of Yevon, and nothing more. But here, although Yevon's influences were obvious, she could also tell that these people cared for each other just as much as the deity they prayed to.
"Come, Yuna." Lulu stated, offering her hand. Despite the fact that she was only four years older than Yuna herself, this Lulu character seemed incredibly kind, and surprisingly mature for her age. Taking the raven-haired girl's hand, she allowed herself to be led towards a hut just visible behind a low hedge. But a realization forced her to stop. Not only had she lost her grip on Kimahri's hand, he was nowhere in sight. Distressed, the young girl began to run aimlessly, looking for her friend and guardian. "Kimahri! Kimahri!" She cried, racking sobs flooding forth from her body as she ran up to the hill, away from the village, Lulu hot on her tail. To others, her crying might seem a bit... excessive, but the Ronso was the only family she had, and she was not about to lose him as well. Turning the corner, she barely had time to flinch as a wolf-like fiend dashed towards her, eyes wild with hunger.
But in a burst of flame, courtesy of Lulu, he was gone, and the brunette could see him. Standing on the bridge overlooking the waterfall, blur fur flying about in the wind. Running up to him and taking his hand before he could leave her again, she gazed into cold, yet caring yellow eyes, which looked back into her own. "...Kimahri must go." He spoke, sensing the question before it could even be said. "B-but... why? Please, Kimahri... don't go. D-don't leave me... Ever since you took me from Bevelle, you... you've been the only person to care for me. I.... please..." She pleaded through sobs, holding the Ronso close, as if fearing to let him go.
As they stood there, speaking nothing more, understanding passed between the two. Although they were worlds apart, one an innocent girl, the other an exiled warrior, they would be together, no matter what.

Today was the day. Ten years had passed since her father became High Summoner; ten long years in which Yuna had subconsciously prepared herself for this moment. As she stood there in the chamber that connected the Cloister of Trials to the Chamber of the Fayth, she couldn't help but wonder where she had gained all this strength. The strength to not only prepare to leave her peaceful life in Besaid behind, but the strength to walk knowingly into the waiting arms of death. But that was the sacrifice she would have to make, if she wanted to defeat Sin. She would go the way of her father, and perhaps someone would look up to her as she had to him. However, as she braced herself for the hardest part of the trial, meeting the Fayth, she knew that now was not the time to discuss what would happen at the end of her journey. It would be a long and grueling trip, and this was only the first step.
With a reassuring glance to Lulu, and a smile towards Kimahri, she stepped forth, the intricately designed doorway closing behind her, and blocking every noise, every sight of the outside world from her. Now, it was just her and the Fayth, and that was all that mattered. As summoners were the only ones allowed within the Chamber of the Fayth, as the teachings of Yevon proclaimed, none but the summoners that had died before her had been able to see it. Gazing around, the brunette was surprised to see just how beautiful it was, despite the fact that it was, technically, a tomb. Although there was nobody in the room with her, a quick glance to the middle of the chamber drew her attention to what looked like a mosaic pattern, trapped beneath a sheet of glass. But she knew better. This was the fayth. Sure enough, a little girl, looking beautiful even in the afterlife appeared, smiling towards the young summoner. Performing the traditional bow, as was customary, Yuna prepared herself for what was to come.
Twelve hours. That was how long Yuna had knelt there, praying to the fayth, who just stood before her, lips curled into an understanding smile, the kind that would pass between a child and their teacher, or between a superior and those below him. A smile that showed respect, but stated that there was more to do. "Young summoner. Long you have prayed to me. Longer than any summoner before you, and I am sure you desire to know why. You are... an interesting individual, to say the least. I see that your heart is in turmoil, and yet, you have made your decision already. Because of this, I will become your aeon. I wish you luck." Bowing to Yuna, the little girl faded away, a small light taking her place, which flowed into the summoner's body.
Moments later, she was leaning against the doorway, her gaze shifting around to those she loved, and one she did not recognize, before she fell. But as always, Kimahri was there, taking hold of her, and keeping her from harm. Once she was sure that her balance was steady, she offered a smile to her companions. "I've done it. I have become a Summoner!"

Oh, how times had changed. It seemed like a distant dream, those days when she would gaze out of her window at the streets below, pointing out every little thing she saw to her father, who would just laugh, and go back to what he was doing. Today was different. She was not here by choice. Rather, she was here by that horrible, horrible man. Seymour. Even thinking the name made her want to spit on the floor, which was a heinous crime in Bevelle. But she was strong. Her forehead leaning on the window before her, she looked down on the city she once loved, seeing nothing but pain, and suffering. Her faith had been shaken, now that she knew just how corrupt the religion she had once followed so faithfully, and yet she was back in the city where it had originated, preparing to marry the man she despised.
"No, Yuna. You must be strong. This is for the people of Spira, not for you. Much worse has happened. You will endure." She said to herself, fighting back the tears that were trying so hard to break free. After all she had gone through with her Guardians, all the adventures she had been on, she was still going to lose. She was going to marry Maester Seymour for the good of the people, no matter how much pain it would put her through. It was time. Turning on the spot, she readjusted her grip on the flowers, making her way to the door opposite the window. There, she saw it. Her staff, which the guards had, for some reason, decided to leave with her. A surprisingly devious look broke through her mask of sadness, and she took the staff in hand, holding it behind her back as she left. She would end Seymour, here and now.
No matter what the cost.

The Eternal Calm. Thanks to Yuna and her Guardians, Spira would no longer need to fear Sin attacking their loved ones, and taking away everything they had worked so hard to obtain. But it was at a terrible price. Their journey had cost the life of him, that man she had, against the judgment of her other Guardians, fallen in love with. But, although she surprised herself by admitting it, the sacrifice had been worth it. One life for the lives of many. Yes, she still had horrible dreams, remembering in detail watching him leap into the Farplane, but that was all she needed. She had her memories, and that was enough. "There you go, sweetie." She stated, tying the bow into the little girl's hair with a smile. The girl ran off, smile wide, making herself a perfect example of what Yuna had lost.
"YUNIE!" Came the cry, the voice immediately recognizable, even before the little Al Bhed girl came running around the corner. It'd been quite a while since she'd seen her cousin, and it was obvious that things had... changed. For one, Rikku was wearing a much more risque outfit then Yuna had expected, and yet, it put a smile on her face. Without saying anything more, the blonde held out a sphere to the High Summoner, who took in in hand, observing it's contents. Multi-colored eyes widened as she saw him, alive, but no so well. Trapped in a cage, shouting obscenities at unseen people. But this was just what she needed. He was alive! After two years of nightmares, two years of pain over his death, she could very well see him again. All she had to do was save him.
"Well, I guess I should just get to it. Welcome to the Gullwings!" The blonde exclaimed, wrapping her arms around the former summoner's neck in a bone-crushing hug. Needless to say, Yuna's journey wasn't over yet.

So I know that was like... five auditions in one, and for that I apologize. But I have a reason for it. I see, on so many sites with auditions, that the Admins want the entire personality displayed. That's all well and good, and obviously what needs to be seen in a canon holder. So I decided to go out there, and display five different situations, each of which showed a different aspect of Yuna's personality, enabling you to see that I'm (hopefully) able to show each of them accurately. I'm not sure if it worked, but I really hope it does. =P.
