Audition post (400 words):
'Quit your yapping, already.'
He almost said it out loud, again, but Seifer hardly cared. The blond teen decided to comply with the old bag though. She was his teacher after all. His legs came uncrossed and off of his desk and his seat tilted forward so that all of its legs were on the floor again. No longer was he leaning against the back wall of the classroom in his middle-of-the-row position. Now Seifer leaned over his desk with both arms folded below him as support. He enjoyed the view from the back of the room. Nobody could slip past him that way.
Passing notes on the right side, check.
Looking at another kid's test in the third to last row, check.
'I'll remind Fuu to add them to the list after class,' the self-appointed head of the unofficial Disciplinary Committee decided. True, their little group was more about out on the streets than setting things right at school, but hey: If he couldn't at least amuse himself this much then what was the point of this place?
The Almasy boy certainly wasn't learning much more than he could figure out on his own, or at least that was what he figured. After all, his test paper had been passed in easily within the first half or third of the session(Not as fast as Fuu but hey, give the guy a break), a sure A or maybe a B if he was so bored he forgot to pay attention and skipped a question as he flicked through them. Seifer didn't think of himself as a genius and he certainly wasn't. He would be a star student though, if not for his horribly obvious attitude problem with authority and... well, everyone who didn't line up under his direction. But still, these low-level tests were so pathetic only a dimwit would struggle with them. Anyone with a working brain in their head would be fine as far as he was concerned.
'Rai, nervously scratching his head over question one, check,' he thought with a frown. 'Does that lunkhead even pay attention when Fuu tutors him or what?'
Whatever. It wasn't as if Seifer hung with Rai for his brains. He was a useful lackey to have around for his size more than anything. That and... a decent friend too. Not that anyone needed to know he actually thought of those two as his best friends the "problem child" mused with a secret smirk.
Well, he'd keep an eye on any more additions to the list, but with this much time left Seifer settled into focusing on something more interesting. With the self-serving grin of a ruffian the Struggle champion starting going over his last few matches and training sessions in his mind. What was good, what still needed work and where he could apply anything to a fist fight as well. No reason to get rusty in a brawl just because he'd taken a shine to a legitimate sport. Attitude problems like that Hayner loser would always need someone to put them in their place, after all. Seifer was happy to be the one to do it, however necessary.
