[The beautiful and amazing Mrs. Iris has allowed me to host and Original RP on this site. It is completely separate from KH and the goings-on on this forum. Its set in its own world with its own set of rules and characters.]
"We're going to war, men...I've just received the orders and we're to ship out and rendezvous with the rest of the fleet immediately. MALICE War Ships are en route to Ereign's west coast as we speak and there not coming to sip tea. Warfare is an act we've all rehearsed but one that none of us want to perform. But, since we are men with balls the size of grapefruits, we'll be hoisting anchor at 0800 hours to depart. Everyone must be at General Quarters because we don't know how far their warships have progressed because they are nearly undetectable by our radars and our sonar seems utterly useless as well. Their numbers are great and their firepower is just as good. We may be at a huge disadvantage but the leader of the enemy faction has decided to to lead the charge himself so if you remove the serpents head, the body should die. Satellites tell us that his ship is trailing behind numerous fleets and should stand out against the warships. Gentlemen, the ship we're after is over three times as large as their aircraft carriers. Finding it will be easy but getting to it is a whole other story.
Each warship is armed with cannons that launch rounds the size of a full grown man, machine guns that spit a couple thousand rounds a minute, torpedos that sunk Atlantis, and missiles that can hit a fly on a soldier chest from damn near anywhere in the world...I want you to look left...Now look right...Now look within yourself. There's a 90% chance that what you just saw...you won't see again. But this isn't about you. The needs of the many always outweigh the needs of the few, remember that. We are simply the next link in the chain of war. Others will come in and fill our places should we fall. But in the end, Ereign will be victorious! We will drop MALICE to their knees and put a bullet in their head...
Our objective is to clear out as many ships as possible between us and Hades' ship and get the Special Warfare Ordinance Teams as close to that one ship as possible so they can take out Hades. Our Destroyers have had armament upgrades especially for sinking enemy ships fast. The aircraft carriers have been outfitted with Anti-Aircraft weapons to take down enemy planes and laser cannons on each end of the ship. If we follow orders, we will emerge the winner. If we fail, we wont be the only ones to die. They will get to our government, our families; wives and children...everyone. This is our last stand, men. If you do die, you sure as better take out at least 50 of those fuckers or I'll drag your asses back from the Underworld myself and make you do it all over again! We can't allow them to have this country so, boys...We're going to give them hell...Hooyaa!"

Synopsis:
Stats System
Characters will often need to work together to accomplish tasks. Superior teamwork will be awarded with more EXP and higher chances for better items.
Lastly, I need to now if you guys want to start out as stronger characters or weaker characters? Stronger characters will be more powerful but will be harder to make, more complex. Weaker characters will be weak but easier to make. I will need to know before I post the template and details.

Synopsis:
Project: Black MALICE is a unique type of role play. It incorporates a sandbox-style of play which means the story isn’t necessarily linear. This style will become more apparent as the story progresses so it can be seamlessly introduced to the role play. The concept of this role play is to allow the players to determine the outcome of the story. My character won't be the 'one, main hero thats super badass'. All characters are equal, in essence, meaning your character could wind up being a main focus of the story depending on what they do. Almost nothing is set in stone and the fate of events lies in the hands of the players, but decisions will need to take place in character.
This RP is based on realism. Meaning there will be no magic, or superhuman abilities like bending space and time. The closest thing you may have to powers would be in the Perks. But there is enough going on to keep it interesting even without magic.
Now, while characters hold the power to alter the story, they must do so within the power of their actual abilities. Every character will have a basic set of Stats, Skills and Perks. These stats only come into play in certain circumstances, like battle, objectives, scenarios, and to meet specific requirements. These stats are only used to induce a sense of fluent, steady character growth. The stat system allows you to develop the character in the exact way you want. There are no pre-defined characters. Each one will be unique in what they can and can't do. Instead of repressing creative flow, I believe they promote the use of creativity by making you use what you are given. [If you've played Fallout 3 then you should understand exactly how this works because I jacked it directly from the game, with a few alterations.] Stats won't be involved in all the aspects of the RP but I will let you know when they will be needed.
The stats can be very simple to use if you take it step by step. A character has essentially three stat sections. S.P.E.C.I.A.L., Skills and Perks.
Stats System
S.P.E.C.I.A.L.Stats, or otherwise known as S.P.E.C.I.A.L. (The acronym for each stat) will be used to A) determine the beginning level of skills, B) satisfy stat requirements for skills, perks and tasks, C) display a basic concept of character. These stats are chosen upon character creation. Under special conditions, extra stat points may be given. One way is to choose the Intense Training perk which gives the character one extra stat point to place where they wish.
SkillsSkills are, well, skills that your character possesses that allows them to accomplish certain tasks at certain levels. For example, a character will 16 out of 100 points in lockpicking won’t be able to pick a complex lock. But a character is 77 points in lockpicking will be able to pick everything from easy locks to hard locks. Different skills correlate to different tasks and different styles of play for the character. Skills play a large part in a character’s life and what they can do in the story. Upon choosing your character’s S.P.E.C.I.A.L., the level will correspond to your characters starting skill level for all skills. A character with an Endurance of 5 will start with 10 points in Big Guns and Unarmed, and it will give your character a starting Health of 200 points. An Intelligence of 8 will allow your character to start with 16 points in Medicine, Repair and Science and it will also give you 18 points to spend on skill at each level up. Upon leveling, all characters will be given a certain number of skill points to spend based on their Intelligence (IN) level. It would be advised to be diverse from other players when choosing skills on account that a group of sneaking lockpickers wouldn’t get to far when they need someone with more gun efficiency.
PerksPerks are characteristics or traits that the player can choose that will give the character a boost in a certain aspect of play. Perks can be gained at level up or by accomplishing certain tasks. Tasks that give perks won’t be revealed until the task is complete, so you never know when you’ll get an extra one. Some perks may have more than one rank. So, you cna choose that perk multiple times till you reach the maximum number of ranks. Like the 'Intense Training' perk has 10 ranks while the Pyromaniac perk only has one rank.
