As you are heading out the door of your house, a small glimmer of light catches your eye. You turn around and see a mirror, putting you face to face with your reflection.

Physical appearance ~ :Amari has longer pitch-black hair. His eyes are a deep black color. He usually has a blank look on his face. He has claws on his fingers. He has a slim defined figure. He is stronger than he looks. He is 6 foot 1 inch tall and weighs 170 pounds.

Clothing/Accessories ~ : Amari wears multiple earrings on his ear. A set goes up and down his ear through multiple holes. The other one hangs from the ear and is a symbol of his clan. He wears a black cloak with a lot of straps. He wears a black long-sleeved shirt that had straps on the end of the sleeves. He has long black pants that go into his boots. His boots go almost up to his knees. There are straps on the boots.

As you're walking through the door, you see many sights that influence your mood. The different feelings that suddenly wash over you are many, leaving you with a strange mix of emotions.

Alignment ~ :neutral. He considers everything his enemy.

Behavior ~ :Amari is very reserved and quiet. He has a really bad temper. He dislikes anything happy or fun, except killing. He won't side with anyone ever. He hates being touched. He hates having to depend on others.

If he smells or sees blood he tends to go into a killing frenzy. He loses control of his actions and his demon blood takes over. He tries to control it but has little success. When he loses control he can't remember half of the stuff he does.

Amari has a fear of crosses. He also has Aulophobia or the fear of flutes. His biggest fear is Philophobia or fear of falling in or being in love. He wants to try to get over his fears to make himself stronger no matter how hard it is.

At the end of the handle there is a demon head symbol. The handle is black. The hilt is shaped like pincers at the top to protect the connection point of the blade and the hilt. On the bottom half of the hilt is a demonic symbol of strength. It is 4 feet long including the handle. It was made out of a metal found only on Amari's home world and was enchanted to be extra sturdy by pouring demon blood over the demonic symbol.

Name:Laetus

Appearance: Laetus is a guardian demon that wears full armor that is mostly black. He is about 10 feet tall. He has red glowing eyes. His helmet has spike like horns across it to protect the head. The shoulderguards are made to block any attacks for the neck from the side, and there are spikes on them. His chestplate has demonic symbols on the front spelling out his name. He has metal gauntlets for protection. The are made to attract the hilt of his cleaver so he can grip it with no problem. His leggings are made for protection and movement by using a special alloy to make them. His boots are made to increase speed. The have skulls at the top to protect the knees. The skull were made so they bend with the knees. He has a giant cleaver as tall as himself. It is big enough to cut through a boulder.

Abilities:

[Lava Burst]:
Laetus stabs his cleaver into the ground which causes lava to shoot out of the ground within a 20 yard radius.

[Dark Engulf]:
Laetus stabs his sword into his chest and the area is engulfed in darkness with in a 30 yard radius making it so nobody can see.

History: When Amari was a little boy he was sent away from his homeland to train. Laetus was sent with to protect and train him. When he returned Laetus was given to Amari to show that he passed the right of passage and showed dominance over Laetus.

Amari was born on a far off planet. He was born into a family of demons. His father came from a long line of demons that can control lesser demons. Amari was tested for the ability at a very young age. He had the genes for the ability to control them and passing on the trait, but the gene for passing on was blocked. This was a rare mutation for the clan, but they knew it was able to be unblocked. It symbolized great power. It could only be unblocked by controlling the demon lord Laetus.

When he turned 15 years old (appearance age: ~3) he was sent away from his homeland to train. Laetus was sent with to protect and train him. Laetus was given a scroll to give to him when he was 30 years. Laetus was to train him how to read, write, and fight by the time the scroll was to be given to Amari. When he reached 30 years of age Amari was able to read, write, and fight enough to hunt. Laetus gave him the scroll on his birthday. It gave Amari instructions on his training and when he could come back. It also said if he couldn't complete the training don't come back. There was a letter for Laetus in there.

Laetus read the letter. It told him how to train him from now on and what type of training to give at each age. Laetus was also told the deadline of the training. Laetus accepted his task. Amari trained for 45 years learning many skills.

He mastered the secret technique for swords that was passed down for generations in his family. He was taught many mystic arts used to fight. He learned basics on how to use every type of weapon. He honed his strength, speed, and agility over the years. Laetus taught him hand to hand combat for if he got disarmed. Little did Amari know Laetus was training too. He was trying to become stronger so his young master had to get even stronger.

One day Amari was confronted by Laetus. The next week would be the last week he could train. By weeks end he had to of beaten Laetus or he couldn't return.

Amari fought Laetus with all his might for 6 days to no avail. On the last day he started at daybreak. He fought until he was coughing up blood. He refused to give up no matter what. He didn't stop trying until it was a minute before time was up. In a last minute fight to win he did what he never thought possible, he used his full demon power. He won with a few seconds left.

Acknowledging defeat Laetus gave Amari an insignia that came with the letter. It turned into Daemonsbane. 'This is to show you passed the trial. Show this to your family and they will accept that you passed your rite of passage.' Laetus told Amari as he vanished. Amari made his way back home.

When he got there his parents were waiting for him. He showed them the sword then was welcomed with joy from his family. In his sleep his dad tried killing him. He woke up to his dad holding a sword over his mother and killing her. He turned to Amari and raised the sword. Amari summoned his sword and ran his father through. When he asked why his dad did that and he said to make him stronger so he has no regrets for killing. The next day Amari left to explore and kill with the help with Laetus. He wondered his world for years and then left to explore many others worlds and become stronger.
