After stopping the Ultimate Power the Charmed Ones were supposed to be done with the Evils of the world, as promised by an Angel of Destiny. What she failed to mention was the discovery of a new Nexus, several in fact. When word reached the Charmed Ones, Piper Halliwell was furious. She promised by a higher power that she could live a normal life but now she was supposed to leave her home in San Francisco?! Not going to happen. Why were they calling on them now? Freewill, it wasn't up to Destiny anymore not when Freewill got involved. It would be up to the Charmed Ones to decide if they really wanted to throw the lives they just earned over the past eight years away and return to fully demon fighting to claim the Nexus for good. Fighting broke out between the Charmed Ones and their respective partners. It was Piper Halliwell who finally settled the arguments, although not in a way anyone would have liked. She just wished that they wouldn't have to make a decision like this. That they could just have what they were promised, a normal life. Being that Piper Halliwell was one of the most powerful witches in existence her wish, with so much emotion behind it, became a spell. It granted her desire stripping her sisters of their Charmed Powers and as witches in general.
Realizing the disaster that just occurred the Elders had to act. Whitelighters were not just guides anymore. They were now teachers as well, responsible for helping witches stop Demons from taking a Nexus. Because her whitelighter powers were not tied to her Charmed Ones' Paige Matthews helped lead the ranks on training witches and fighting for the Greater Good. She is now one of the biggest forces of Good still fighting. Along with Paige, Prue Halliwell is also a whitelighter hard at work training witches and fighting alongside her youngest sister. On the other side Demons scrambled to get factions together in order to go after the Nexus. A new Source was sworn in and he is now in full control of the Underworld. Billie Jenkins has now taken it upon herself to protect Phoebe Halliwell as she is pregnant with the daughter that she had seen in her premonition so many times before. Her husband Coop has been recruited by the Elders to help aide those in need during the Battles over the Nexus. Leo Wyatt has gone in full force as Headmaster of Magic School, in order to teach witches, whitelighters, and any other magical beings the ropes in order to prepare them for the coming war. Piper Halliwell has taken it upon herself to protect her family by any means she can, although now that she is mortal it isn't a lot. Slowly though, each sister is realizing how much they need their magic right now. Perhaps getting the Nexus back to the Forces of Good may be enough power to bring back the Power of Three?
