Do you?
Noelle, often known as the Nova Faerie, longs to find her home. But, here she finds herself in Traverse Town. Alone. She sits on top of a lamp post, standing there. She sits down and looks out at the city, she has never gone through the doors to the other districts. Her silver blue color fragile insect wings slowly move behind her. She's been all over the place searching for home. She has stumbled across barely anyone who knows where she belongs.
D-do they even believe in me?
She asked herself, her eyes streaked with tears. The tears glittered down her perfect face. She had been lost for awhile, but found no one who could help her. She felt alone, and that no one believed in her. That she never really existed. She felt small. Everyone else as so much bigger than her, and she had been ill-treated before. Trapped. Caged. That was what she had been. And that was why she did not know where home was. She had been away for it for so long. She didn't know the way home. She had been captured from her home and used as an experiment. And constantly human eyes looked up on her, fascinated like she was some kind of freak.
I have emotions too...
She thought to herself. She still remembered those days, many many days ago when those human faces had looked upon her. Peered upon her through her glass enclosure. And then the men in white lab coats poked her. Drew her blood. Tested her. W-what were they trying to figure out? And..then she was saved though, to only be alone again. The men in lab coats finding her and killing the only person she trusted. She wrapped her arms around her legs, crying into her knees.
"...W--why me....?" She squeaked out through tears. It was like the world didn't want her to be happy. Didn't want her to ever find home again. Her crying could hear from some ways off, but as only squeaks and whines. Would she ever find her home? Did anyone believe in her? In faeries?

Karel began his 'journey' around Traverse Town, being that it was his first time being in the world. He was quite surprise to see how...trainquil the world was. At least, compared to the other places he has been, anyway. There was even one side of this world that didn't have heartless coming out; and the districts that did had them, rarely came out. 'I'm surprise that none of them tried to attack me yet...' he thought to himself, as he wandered in one of the districts.
He looked around, and found various shops in the area, although some of them appeared to be close. He could remember seeing a bill-board sign that had a crazy-looking man with gray hair, apparently selling 'hats'. Karel made sure he kept his distance away from those suspcious places; the last thing he wanted to do was get involve with some strange, unnesscary situation or person that he didn't need to know. 'I have to repay the man that saved me...' he thought to himself as he looked up to the sky.
Karel's thoughts were interuppted by the sound of a...wimper? He started to look around, his eyes gazing at every direction. Was his mind playing tricks on him? It certainly looked like it. "There's no one here..." He mumbled to himself. It sounded LIKE someone was crying...but it was far too 'distant' for him to tell if it was just his imagination or not.
The noise was still there though, which forced him to stop. Karel looked around one last time, quickly becoming irritated. 'Is someone playing tricks on me?' He thought, jumping to conclusions without the slightest hesitation. His face remained calm, although he was beginning to boil on the inside.
Karel then said, it a loud tone, "Whoever's there, show yourselves. I already know that you're here near-by..."

She continued to cry into her legs, pressing her star teared face against her knees. No one could see her up here, no one could hear her. Or at least she thought they couldn't. No one ever seemed to hear her unless she was really close to them because to humans, people bigger than herself her words were merely squeaks and high pitched moans. For someone to hear her she had to whisper in their ear. Did she want someone to hear her though? To hear her crying?
I feel so alone...
She continued to cry, she did not even hear the footsteps down below as someone was nearing where she was. But they couldn't see her. She used the height of the lamp post to her advantage. To hide herself. In the old days, many people believed in faeries but no one seemed to believe in her. She wished she was home. With her family and friends. In the green lush forest of the island. Where she had the mermaids to mess with. The Indians to play tricks on. She missed her world. She had been away for it for so long. She hardly remembered what it looked like now...
Whoever's there, show yourselves. I already know that you're here near-by...
"Meep!" She said, sitting up and then flying off of the lamp post. She hurled downwards, scared. She had lost all control of where she was flying. She was just a blur of pixie dust as she zoomed into something. Right into the human boy who had spoken. Who had told her to show herself. She had showed herself alright. She hit him in his chest and then started to fall to the ground. She had hit her head some and fainted for a moment.
Her small fragile body slowly started to fall. And fall...

Karel still kept an eye out, although he felt like that there was nothing really here at this point. The little 'noises' that he heard earlier had stopped after he asked what-ever or whoever was out there, to show themselves. It was a bit of a coincidence, but he believed that he only heard the noise because his mind was just playing tricks on him, for whatever reason. His body began to ease a little bit, telling himself that it was just nothing.
However, he was about to be proven wrong. Suddenly, Karel felt something 'hit' him on the chest; it felt like a small ball that was thrown poorly hit him. If it wasn't for the fact there was 'dust' following the object, Karel probably wouldn't have realized it. His eyes sort of grew wide, though, caught off-guard by the sudden object. 'What the?!' He thought to himself as he looked down.
When Karel looked down; at first he saw nothing but what appeared to be dust. But as the dust began to clear, he could see a small figure. It was...a human? His eyes widened a little bit when he realized that it was a person that had 'bumped' into him. The only thing that was different about this person was that she was small...very small, and had wings. He wondered what the heck was she, but his thoughts were put to rest for a short while, as he noticed that the person was falling to the ground.
It wasn't much to him, but at her size; it was probably like falling off a tall cliff. Karel had a delayed reaction as he cupped his hands together under-neath the person. He had to 'fall' close to the ground, bending his knees. He was able to catch the person before she had fallen to the ground, although it was a bit too close.
He let out a small sigh of relief, glad that he was about to 'save' the person. He looked down at the person, his expression now having a look of confusion. "Uhh..." Karel mumbled, not really sure what to do. "Hey...uh.....what the heck are you? and do you have a name?"

She didn't know what was happening, all of a sudden she had heard a voice and got startled. She had jumped, flown away from where she was hiding on top of the lamp post. She had found herself flying towards something, someone. Her vision had become blurred. She had but lost all control of herself. When she became startled, or scared like this she usually buzzed around and ended up running into someone.
She had hit something, that was a bit soft. But, her mind went blank for a second as she started to fall towards the ground. Which seemed like forever. Her body slowly fell, it's lightness making her float down instead of actually falling. Any moment her body would hit the cold firm ground. Hopefully something would break her fall... Just maybe.
Someone cupped their hands underneath her, scooping her up just before she hit the ground. Her body fell limply into the person's hands. Her body looked so fragile. As did her wings. The dust fell away, disappearing. The dust had been created by her, so with no movement of her body no pixie dust was created.
Hey...uh.....what the heck are you? and do you have a name?
Giant words filtered through her mind and she kept her eyes closed, tightly. Frightened. Afraid. The voice was so loud, so huge. Human. Every voice that wasn't her own voice, or another faeries voice the voices sounded huge. Booming. She squeezed her eyes tightly still, then slowly lifted one eye lid open. Revealing a small silver eye. It moved around inside, looking around till it met the face of who had caught her. At any moment she thought that he would squish her inside of his big hands.
Be calm...
She thought to herself as she closed her eye again, hoping that he hadn't seen that she had regained consciousness. She then quickly sat up and fluttered her wings, zooming away. Hoping he wouldn't catch her as she flew off. She zoomed around him, around his head. Golden pixie dust following her. She let out a bunch of squeaks at him, trying to say things to him. Although to him they were only squeaks.
"I'm a faerie!" She squeaked at him, and then finally slowed down and fluttered in front of his face a foot away or so. As she floated there in the sky, her wings were just a blur behind her. "A faerie!" She said again at him.

Karel wasn't quite sure if this person was alright or not; She didn't appear to be moving or anything of the sort. He couldn't even see her open one of her eyes. Maybe it wasn't the best time to be asking questions. He was about to walk, with the person still in his hands, until he saw she was beginning to move. She had sat up on his hands and Karel had sort of became 'nervous'; to be near someone so...different in size at such extremes was something he was not use to. Obviously, she was from a different planet; question was, where...
She suddenly 'hopped' off his hands and Karel's hands were finally free. He put his hands inside his pockets as it appeared to him that the person was 'escaping'. "Hmph..." Karel grumbled, thinking that he should at least get some sort of 'thanks' for saving her life. However, he saw that she was just 'stalking' him as she flew around his head.
'This is annoying...' Karel thought as he saw the dust starting to come up again; this time, around his eyes. Karel wanted to get the dust out of his face, but he didn't want to do anything to 'knock-out' the person again: She was small, but it would be annoying for him to carry her if she was out of it again.
Once more, the squeaks came up and now he realized where that noise came from before. 'She's doing that?...' This wasn't going to work out so well...if he could barely hear her, then what was the point of meeting her? Suddenly, she stopped right in front of his face, and now he saw how she looked like.
She had some kind of black clothing that covered most of her body. There was some kind of transparent, pink cloth that was wrapped around her shoulders. The only thing he could see on her head was a brownish color hair that was extended some-what. She looked...normal, with the exception of the attire and wings.
It took a while for Karel to realize what she was saying. 'Faerie?...' He paused himself, trying to remember if he had heard of them before. Finally, Karel looked at her and said, "Sorry, never heard of them before. I'll just take your word for it."
Karel paused himself for a little bit. 'Now what?...' he thought. He cleared his throat as he introduced himself. "The name's Karel....do you have a name of your own? Or is 'Faerie' all you have for a name?"

The small human like insect continued to float in front of the teenage boy, after declaring what she was but not who she was. Not a name besides faerie. She put her hand on her hip as she floated there in mid air, her wings fluttering behind her. Though they were only a blur of a silver blue color.
Sorry, never heard of them before. I'll just take your word for it.
Never heard of faeries before!? "Hmphf." She said, folding her arms across her chest. She stared at the teenage boy before her. At least he agreed that she was one, that he would just take her word for what she was. She got a bit startled when he cleared his throat but she just looked at him, waiting for him to say something. She knew that when someone cleared there throat they were going to say something.
The name's Karel....
Least he was being nice, unlike all the other people she had met. Though she hadn't met many. It occurred to her, she hadn't really met met anyone before. Sure she browsed around awhile, and encountered people but usually kept to herself. Or usually just hid. The people she saw, were the ones she saw peering through the glass enclosure at her. A-and the men in white lab coats... She shivered at the thought of them. She never wanted to see them again! NEVER EVER!
...Do you have a name of your own? Or is 'Faerie' all you have for a name?
No. A faerie is what I am..."Faeries not a name!" She squeaked at him, sneering at him some. She put her hands down at her sides quickly, like she was mad at him or something. She stepped away some, turning around. Though there was nothing underneath her, accept air it looked like she was walking in mid air. She then quickly flew away and then buzzed around his head, and then stopped at his left ear. Floating there. She then whispered, "..My names Noelle." She said to him. Then flew away, in front of him.
"Noelle! Clarette Moonbeam!" She squeaked at him, though her words were more understandable now. "The one and only!" She added, floating there. Letting him examine her. She smiled at him. Floating there.

'Where exactly am I?'
That thought was foremost on the mind of the young woman as she made her way through the back alleys of this strange dusk-lit town. Her gray travelers cloak ruffled behind her as she walked, her head turning this way and that as she assessed her surroundings.
'And more importantly, where did that Kinzoku brat go?' Melana wondered, scowling slightly as she thought back on how she'd gotten into this mess. It was supposed to have been a simple mission, despite its danger: get in, activate the relic's magic, and fend off the enemy until the portal was sealed. What's more, it was the first time she'd been trusted with a truly important assignment for the Order, her chance to prove herself... and that infernal demon-possessed kid had to charge in and ruin it all! She groaned, remembering how she'd awoken face down on cold cobblestone after the rampant magic had engulfed her. She could've sworn she'd heard footsteps rushing off as she came to... if that explosion of magic had brought her here, she could only conclude that her opponent had been brought here as well.
Of course, that brought her back to her first question. Where was here??
Turning a corner, she saw the end of the alleyway and a young man standing near a lamppost. He had distinctive red tips accenting his black hair, but not as distinctive as the fact that he had a glowing puff of luminous dust hovering in front of his face... and was apparently talking to it. Melana hesitated, but only briefly. She had to get her bearings before she could do anything else. Wherever she was, she couldn't count on the other knights to come find her.
The mercury-eyed woman stepped briskly out of the alley and towards the black haired youth. "Um, excuse me... can you... could you please tell me where I am?"
