Once again, Rukio's gambit paid off. As the panther leapt at him he was able to cleave a long, bloody slash into the beast's underbelly. That was the good news.
The bad news is that even such an injury cannot stop gravity. The pather's pounce landed it right on top of Rukio, its momentum and weight pinning him to the ground. Now blinded by pain and rage the panther dug its claws into Rukio's shoulders, snarling fiercely at him with the clear intention of tearing him to bits. Blood mingled with saliva and dripped from its jaws.
If he didn't react fast, this thing was going to sink its fangs into his neck.
ENEMY: Black Panther HEALTH: Seriously Wounded
(OOC: Since you still haven't used Rukio's remaining AP, might I suggest creating some new Abilities for him? If you do, I'll just factor them in as "a result of his resurrection". A few good tactical moves would greatly increase your combat effectiveness... if you're having trouble coming up with good ideas, I'd be glad to help you brainstorm.)

rukio felt a weird jolt go through his body and all of a sudden a pluse of energy went out of his body and hit the panther all over his body (ability used: energy wave)

The young man was quite lucky. It seemed that being recovered from the dead had awakened in him powers he had never known he possessed. In fact, this awakening had quite possibly just saved his life.
The black panther reeled back; wounded as it was, the creature was in no state to withstand so many volts surging through its body. It threw its head back, bloody foam dripping from its mouth, then went limp and fell over... dead.

rukio pushed to panther off of him and looked at it "well that was odd" said rukio to himself and looked around "better hide this in case someone comes to look around" he moved the dead cat to a thick of bushes and started to walk again deeper into the jungle

TIME REMAINING: 39 hoursAlmost a full hour has passed since your encounter with the panther and until now nothing new or threatening has come across your path. Now, however, you smell something foul in the damp air. Exploring your surrounding reveals the carcass of what looks like a dead cow; you can tell it hasn't been dead more than a day because insects are only just beginning to take interest in it. Everything you know about islands tells you it is extremely unusual to find a cow in such a place. This could mean you're getting close to the temple or an Amazon camp... but that doesn't answer why this poor dead animal was left out here. What will you do? ∆ Examine the dead cow for clues. ∆ Climb a tree to get a vantage point. ∆ Keep walking.

rukio smelled the cow and then saw it. Rukio went over to check it out and see what he could find out.

The cow is laid out flat on one side with its underbelly exposed. However, from what you can see there aren't any wounds on this side of the carcass, and thus no clue as to what killed it. You suspect that the clues you're looking for might be on the part of the animal flat against the ground. Will you attempt to roll the cow over?

Rukio didn't see any thing on the cow but knew there was something about it, so he had try to flip it over rukio went over to it and pushed it hopping to roll it.

(OOC: Sorry about how long it took me to get back to things here; was out sick for awhile, but I'm back in the mix now.
Also, a word to the wise Rukio: things are not always as simple as they appear. Remember to always ask the question "why" when dealing with the unknown or the uncertain, because, as in this case...)
As you attempt to roll the cow's body, a rope carefully hidden in the underbrush goes taut. A weighted branch overhead slips free, and a ring of thick rope leaps up to snare your feet. The cow's weight, it seems, acted as a lever... the moment anything tries to move it, the trap is sprung. This is what you realize as you are pulled feet-first twenty feet into the air, hanging upside-down.
Down below, you get to see the other side of the cow. It looks like it was shot with a bow and arrow, then cut open. About half the meat appears to have been cleaned off the bones with the rest left there on purpose. Looks like you're the latest catch in this hunter's trap, though from the stink of the cow you're probably not the first.
You have two choices. You can attempt to free yourself, but with no branches close by the fall is likely to hurt quite a bit. Or you can wait until the hunter returns... though considering your mission this seems like a very bad idea. You still have your sword with you, so cutting through the rope binding your legs shouldn't be too difficult. What will you do?

rukio saw the rope way to late and cursed he knew he would have to get free and saw the long drop "but i got to stay undeteted for now" he said and grabbed his sword and cut through the rope and tried to flip over to his front hoping he would find a way to esacape this unscathed

You manage to land on your feet and roll, doing your best to break the fall. Your legs will be pretty sore for a while, but other than that you're okay.
If someone's setting hunter's traps out here, it means you must be getting close to a camp of some kind. What will you do? Keep walking, or climb one of the taller trees to see if you can spot what lies ahead?

rukio didn't want anyone to see him when he was up in a tree so he kept walking hoping to find the temple soon.

TIME REMAINING: 38 hours
You walk for an hour more before you begin to see signs of civilization nearby. A footpath catches your eye, and you think you can hear voices in the distance. This might lead you to the temple, a hunter's camp, or something else, you cannot yet be sure.
As you follow the path you come across what looks like an abandoned camp site. The fire here hasn't been out long; there are still a few faintly glowing embers. However, aside from the fire pit and a few log-seats there's really nothing here of notice. You continue on.
After about half an hour more you see the trees ahead thinning, the edge of the jungle in sight. Beyond that you catch a glimpse of some kind of small fort. Many trees have been cut down to make a barricade, and a trench has been dug around it as well. This outpost is not large, but it is solid. There is a single guard at the main entrance -- an Amazon armed with a spear -- and another with a bow keeping watch from a lookout tower. Past the entrance you can see a number of small tents, and guess that this outpost is probably manned by no more than seven people.
What will you do?

rukio had to make sure that these people didn't work for the god of war, but he wasn't sure of how to. so to be safe he had to scare them into not going to his temple. so Rukio snuck to the back of the fort away from the entance and shot a fire ball at the wood wall and hoped they would be smart enough to run and not get hurt.
