Run, Run, Run...
Child? "I am no child!" The nerve of this person. She just stared out the window as they walked around her and told their story. A music box that stole hearts? And they broke it! "...You broke it? Why would you do that! I mean think about it!" Dino looked down at her hands thinking of what that music box could have done. That is if it where not broken.
90. 90 souls and hearts. Was this music box the secret she had been looking for. She wiggled her fingers as she looked at them. Thinking. This wasn't right. Just hop a train, find a box, get the box stolen... She turned her head and looked at the figure. Her eyes narrowed. This was a lot like the time she got her weapon. "Who are you?" Yes it was rather different from her time in the other twilight town but this hidden figure did remind her much of the one with the hidden face. And yet now she couldn't help but wonder what this person was doing here, with a broken music box. It was not adding up. |

Laughter was the only response Dino got. Again the figure disappeared before her, however this time the black robe fell to the floor. The silence returned.
Ten minutes later noises came from the next car over. Footsteps, at first controlled became thunderous in the metal cars of the train. The car across the way doors' opened, but without light Dino wouldn't be able to see what was there. The door to her car opened and a silver haired man entered. He wore all black except for two silver shoulder pads. On his feet were black boots that seemed monstrous themselves already paired with this tall man. He brought up a hand and smiled, as if he wanted to shake Dino's. Glowing eyes enchanted this pristine face, his was a tapestry of the kind gentleman with a dark veneer.

Darkness. She stood still. It wasn't exactly fear she was feeling right now. But it was a little. She felt her heart start to pound a bit in her chest. But it was not yet trying to escape. Domino gulped some air down her dry throat. Maybe she really had crossed the line. yes. She decided that. It was crossing the line. And yet she still couldn't help but wonder if she could get her hands on that music box.
Her body tensed when she heard the footsteps. She almost wanted to cover her ears and cower but she didn't. It was dark, to dark. But she saw those eyes. This man towered her. She looked up at him, surely she must have seemed like such a small helpless child to him. Her look was a mix between confused and stunned. She blinked a few times as she looked at him. "Uhh..." Domino was at a loss for words. |

A snicker was all Dino got before his body moved, his extended right hand to shake was a fist, aimed into her gut. Whether or not she could react was not really a question. If she could all the better, fighting back would give an accurate measure of her abilities.
Though, his fist was not enough to knock her out. Instead only enough force to knock the wind out of her.
It would be amusing to see what this girl thought of his actions. Would she have known that they'd been tracking her for over two months? Assessing her movements, habits, abilities, and finding the best possible locations to begin their plan? This was the beginning process. What was more important was to bring out the inner part of her this man desired.
"It's time to show me. I've been looking for you a long time."

Set fire to your soul...
"Oi!" She saw it just a few seconds to late. But she saw it soon enough to get back but not enough. His punch made her slide back some. She coughed as she got her breath back. 'I've been looking for you a long time' What? This man was now on her mental list of creeps. She straightened up and looked at him with narrowed eyes. "its time for me to show you nothing!" she yelled at him. Almost screamed really.
Something inside told her that now was not the time to provoke though. While she yelled at him she looked him up and down taking in a lot about him just by his looks. She was a Thief so it was pretty eyes to get a good look of everything on the outside of someone fast. He was huge. She really didn't stand a chance at a fight with him. Her right hand hovered over her robotic armband. Still even with it surely this guy had tricks up his sleeve. His snicker, his face, his eyes, it was there. Seconds seemed like minutes as she tried to process it all. He was looking for her, for a long time. "If you're looking to kill me, you wont gain anything, no one wants me so you would be wasting your time." She lowered her right hand to rest on her armband, sure that her telling him there was no profit for her was not going to stop whatever was going down here. |

"Pah, no one that matters. Do I seem like no one?" Before she could answer, his fist came at her cheek. Again, only enough force to move her, not break bones or dislodge teeth.
"Haha, kill you? You've got it all wrong Dino. I am the last person who wants to kill you." A straight face came over him and he eyed her carefully. "Will you prove difficult to come out? Or are you going to play dumb?" For a moment he did nothing, thinking to himself.
"Just so you know, this train has been temporarily...confiscated. If you had a location in mind, we are going somewhere else more fitting."

Dino. People hadn't called her that since she was little. Who was he to be calling her a pet name? She held her jaw where he hit her. "What makes you think....you can hit me around!" she huffed in anger and glared at the man as he thought. He has asked her if he seemed like no one...he wanted her for some reason? Oh her head was hurting a little from trying to find out everything in it where there where no answers.
"Wait...you...you're kidnapping me, aren't you?" She scrunched up her nose. So he knew she had no worth but for some reason she was worth something to him? Domino was now feeling a bit more then uncomfortable with all this. She stepped back a few steps away from the man. "Who...are you?" After she asked this a pit fell in her stomach. Maybe it would be better if she just played along with his game. Because surely he was mistaking her for someone else. |

"Ahh, don't be scared. Here." From his pocket he held the music box. In a moment the song was playing. When she made no move he tossed it to her, it would be her choice to catch it.
"So many questions Dino. You have no idea what's really going on...that is too bad. You should know already." The man's eyes met hers, no longer a casual glance. He was thoroughly disappointed. "You will learn my name when I'm satisfied. Now get up and walk towards me."

Now fall...
Dino caught the music box easily. She stared at it for a minute. "...So...it's been you, hasn't it?" her nose wrinkled as she looked at the music box. "You've been following me, those eyes I felt watching me but then you're gone once I look." Dino stood up and looked at him.
"Don't tell me what to do...that's not your place is it?" She stood up as tall as she could, but was still no comparison to this man. She looked him over some more and tapped her lower lip with her left index finger. The music box was still in her hand. "Hold this for me, I don't have a pack." She said taking steps to close the gab between them and held it out to him.
"I think...you are just the one I've been waiting for...." Yes. Surely this man was what she had been looking for. The feeling he gave her, his actions. He had to have some key to the power she looked for. |

Dino's response relaxed Sephiroth, and so he decided to humor her by holding the music box. He would play along, though she was far from fulfilling what he was looking for at the moment. "You should know my place, it should never have been a question."
The train ride still had a while until it ended, and before then Sephiroth had to be done with this current episode with Dino. "Oh, why would you be looking for me?" Her change of attitude was interesting, if it was only amusement it would buy her time before he moved on. "What do I offer for someone like you?"

It wont take long...
"It was more a statement then a question." she looked at him and smirked. So he was going to ask questions now? She laughed in her head. This was starting to be a tad amusing, at least in that partly scared to death sort of way. But he wouldn't kill her, she was sure of that.
"What doesn't someone like you have to offer to someone like me? I mean honestly. Everything about you..." She looked him up and down again. "You're powerful. Very Powerful. Obviously you get what you want...you know, you've been watching me and know stuff that I seem to not be getting yet so I really shouldn't have to explain myself to you." Surely this moment was the honeymoon period of the trip. Dino's stomach was in a full knot now. She wasn't sure when it had started to feel like this but it was now very knotted up. "We both have something the other wants." She looked him in the eye when she said this. "And I know that you know what I want." |

"What I want?" Dino's comment hadn't come across well with Sephiroth. "Don't insult me."
Sephiroth threw a back fist at Dino's right side, annoyed at her sudden change in attitude. She was getting part of what he aimed for correct, and then stumbling horribly in the rest. "You're going to be quiet now. Satisfactory as you are, you're too raw in this current state. I believe though I've found you, don't upset me."
What bothered Sephiroth was not that Dino didn't fit perfectly, but that he had no knowledge of what to move on. He only knew Dino was fitting candidate as a host. This uncertainty led him to being rather impatient.

Exhale...
She coward. It was out of her nature. But she was scared now. In all her life she had never really been knocked around by anyone. She didn't fight often she just got in trouble, she got yelled at. She didn't get punched. She had fallen. More out of nerves then anything else. She clenched her fists on the floor of the car in frustration. With him, with herself. Who did he expect her to be?
She didn't say a word. No, his voice was enough to make her's vanish. Although it was out of her nature to care about pleasing someone Dino knew that if she was who he wanted her to be the gain on her end would be something more then she could ever get from anyone else. She pulled her legs up and hugged them resting her chin on her knee. What exactly had she gotten into? Surely if she was to raw he was going to attempt to 'mold' her in a way. She shuttered a little as her mind danced around ideas of how this could go. "I'm so stupid..." she muttered very quietly to herself. Frustrated. Scared. She didn't look at him. She knew she was not ready for this but she also knew that she didn't have a choice anymore. |

The train seemed to slow down. Tracks underneath no longer roared, the car barely rattled. But no, outside the sky still flew by just as quickly. Faster and faster it went, the blue skyline blurring with a darker purple turn black. All at once it changed and the sound of a train was gone.
A sea of stars surrounded them. Every direction and way, a beautiful sight in a horrible situation for Dino. "Enjoy this. You're not going to see much of anything soon." Sephiroth walked over to the girl, knowing they were close to their planned schedule. He couldn't get rid of the suspicion that something didn't quite fit. Yet, it really seemed natural. He had dealt with his "younger brothers" in this way, sort of.
"Now Dino, adieu." Once again his fist came, though this time he had something his hand. A chemical? It would knock her out nonetheless. Sephiroth grinned happily. "Mother, very very soon. I will begin."

And say goodbye..
She noticed the ride slow and quiet, two things she knew as bad signs. Yet she did not move. 'Enjoy this. You're not going to see much of anything soon.' She looked up to the window and saw nothing but stars. This sight would not last long for her though. Sephiroth would soon knock her out. Her gut tied into a knot as she slowly looked away hearing him bid her adieu. And once again she was met with a fist. But this time things started to fad. Confusion and darkness where taking over. The last thing she heard was mother.

She slipped into a state of sleep. |
