"Blake." He said quietly. He looked around carefully. He noticed Shadow go for his blade. Blake saw the heartless jump at them. He drew his sword and charged at one of the Gargoyle Knights. He sent thundara from his hand at it, then he thrust his sword at the heartless.

So, they're names were Kage and Blake. She watched as Kage drew his blade, she looked up to find that they're little introduction would be cut short. These things reminded her so much of he heartless she had seen before, it was strange in different worlds there were heartless but they all looked different, she guessed it just depended upon what world they were in. But these held swords and axes, which she wasn't accustomed to. She hoped she didn't have to use her magic on these guys, might as well save it for later...on much more stronger foes.
She went towards one of the Gargoyle Knights and then stopped when she was close enough she swung her leg at it, kicking it. She managed to knock it back some, but would it stay down was the question.

The Heartless that Blake had attacked was quickly vanquished before it could even attack or fly away. Its hard rock body soon vanished into a cloud of darkness leaving nothing but a lingering heart that floated away until it vanished. Two Heartless focused their attack now on Blake, one a Gargoyle Warrior and the other a Knight.
The Gargoyle Warrior hopped over to Blake swinging its axe around in a windmill motion. The Gargoyle Knight Heartless flew up over Blake hand hovered around for a brief moment before swooping down with its sword pointed directly at his heart.
Brielle made a swift kick to the other Gargoyle Knight knocking it back some. But it quickly recovered and flew upwards before it came falling down with its heavy body attempting to crush Brielle.
Shadow easily defeated the Warrior Heartless that tried to surprise attack him. With one quick vertical slash downwards, he sliced the statue in half. It also vanished into thin air. But he had no time to celebrate an easy win. One of the other Warrior Heartless came swinging at him nearly cutting off his head if he hadn't ducked in time. Shadow jerked his sword forward stabbing the Heartless right in the chest. But it was not defeated, it managed to separate itself from the statue body and attack Shadow while he was trying to pull his sword from out the stone. It tried to attack him once more but he quickly caught on and grabbed the puffy cloud of darkness and began to absorb the darkness that made up the Heartless until there was nothing left but a regular statue. He looked at it for a second before punching it right square in the middle. The stone statue broke into hundreds of small rocks leaving a pile of rubble in the floor. Shadow picked up his sword and looked back at the others.

Blake saw the two heartless charge at him. He had to think fast. One was attacking from above, and the other sweeping down at him. He did the fell into almost perfect splits. He dodge the axe and swung his sword in an upward parry motion. Then he did a quick thrust at the Knight, and thrusted his other hand next to his other side facing backwards. He shot a fireball at the Warrior.

Angeal had a funny feeling. Well not so much funny as the sense he wasn't going to find any chance to redeem himself here. And so he left, leaving his companion alone.
