The Thrusters disrupted his flight, and so, he hit the ground. He saw Magus get attacked, then a dark bomb go off.
"Note to self, don't fight him unless I have to." He then saw a monster go through the barrier, as if it wasn't there. He ran as fast as he could, back into the building. He caught up with the monster, and punched it fifteen times. Each time he did, small explosive bursts occured. After he hit it all those times, he jumped over it, and landed in front of it, blocking its path. He turned and unsheathed his sword. He looked at one of the monks.
"Something tells me you guys are more important than my sword." He then looked at his opponent.

((Naughty Angy! I'll forgive it this time, but Enhanced Heartless are boss-types: To be treated like players in all cases. Oh, and hi, Rocket.))
Stitch was handling the Thruster Swarm pretty well, destroying each individual Thruster in one or two shouts. Unfortunately, the swarm only seemed to get more and more heartless, as if something was summoning the Thrusters to this area.
Magus, fortunately, was correct in that the Dark Bomb destroyed the remaining Neo Shadows. However, the Neoshadow didn't take much damage from Angeal's attacks, and he got in the way of Magus, unfortunately knocking him too off balance to strike with the Dreamreaper. The Neoshadow disappeared into the ground, and reappeared behind Angeal, knocking him into Magus to distract both of them.
It went farther into the Temple, finally finding a large hall. This was the perfect place for it to fight those that came here. It turned to the entrance of the hall, firing a large ball of darkness down it to catch those chasing it off guard.

Laughing maniacally, the only way you can ever really laugh, Stitch spun all four guns while having them remain in his hands cockily. "Oukou ha`awina... pa keia la!"
Gripping the guns in a professional manner, and cackling in a non-professional one, Stitch jumped up high into the air. Once again, he began to fire off plasma shots with absolutely no mercy, though with four guns the odds were improved. Stitch aimed for the dead center of the creatures, intending to start some major mayhem upon landing! If any Heartless made it past the blasts of plasma when he landed, the inferior creature would get a taste of Stitch's very hard head!
...or foot. Both work, actually.
"Hau`oli." Stitch muttered as he continued his enjoyable bash with the Heartless.

This was not going well. He and his ally were tripping one over the other in their eagerness to stop the beefed up Heartless, and now it had escaped down the hall. What's more, as he was picking himself up off the floor, Magus sensed a growing surge of darkness from not too far away. His expression became a determined, angry scowl, knowing what was coming. There wasn't much time...
... but time enough for one who could command time. The mage's scowl twisted into a confident sneer as he threw back one hand in dramatic fashion. Instantly a surge of radiant golden light surged into the ground at his feet, forming a wide ring that encompassed himself and Angeal. Runes formed in the circle, as did two lines... the hands of a clock, spinning ever faster.
"Follow my lead!" Magus shouted as the clock's hands became a blinding blur. Light surged up from their feet, washing over both their bodies in a shimmering infusion of magical energies.
With Haste's effects now enhancing their speed and reactions, Magus charged forward. The dark energy ball came flying down the hall, but the shadowmage simply wall-kicked back and forth until he was able to leap safely over it. He was counting on the swordsman taking his cue; if the two could assault this foe in unison, they stood a good chance of doing serious damage to it before the spell wore off. Racing into the large internal hall, he veered sharply to one side and prepared to slash the Neo Shadow with a passing strike; if he could keep moving it improved his chances of getting the enemy to make a fatal error.

Angeal flew into Magus as he was hit. When Magus got up, so did he. Soon the two of them were able to move faster than anything else. In addition, he was also boosted by his Rush Assault ability. He jumped a bit into the air, and as Magus swung his scythe, he punched. He landed moments later. He turned around and punched the ground, sending a shockwave straight at the giant heartless. After he punched the ground he drew his sword.

Further down the hall was Joseph who had been making sure that the heartless hadn't spawned in the various rooms of the temple. He turned seeing the Neoshadow back up into the hall and frowned. "Darkness... No matter what the shape, is always foolish..." He snarled as he drew Eden, his raiper. The golden blade hummed and emitted a strong light. He began to sprint at the Neo shadow's back and lept into the air as Angeal punched the ground dodging the wave. As Joseph landed he threw a few quick slashes at the Heartless's back. He landed on the ground and began to slash upward but this was only a feint for during that time he removed the headband that covered his eye revealing the "Eye of the Seer." He then stabbed his blade once more but jumped back afterwards. "Let us see how well you handle the grasp of time beast!" He shouted as he then lept up and attempted to grab hold of the Heartless's head.

The Heartless withstood Joseph's grab and stood there, taking the scythe attack because it hadn't been properly prepared for it. However, it blocked the punch and jumped up over the shockwave, landing lightly on its feet again. It reached over itself and threw Joseph against the wall by pulling him over. It made a strange chittering noise before disappearing into the ground, leaving a pool of darkness. It rose again behind Magus and attempted to steal the scythe.
Stitch, on the other hand, would have a large problem shortly. The swarm of Rapid Thrusters, as if listening to a single voice, paused and began to clump together in a large mass, darkness gathering around them. When the darkness faded, it revealed that the swarm was gone... and in its place, a strange creature.
It had yellow wings, the Heartless symbol imprinted on them like large eyespots. It resembled a large moth, with six long clawed leg and pincers on the head. Its body was pure black, and the claws and pincer tipped with red. Its body was as long as a tree.
((Just so you know, the Neoshadow is completely invulnerable to abilities.))

[Good thing the plasma guns aren't abilities then, right?]
Stitch growled at the sight of the new thing that had reared it's ugly head. Fugly. He'd heard that word somewhere... why did it come back now...?
Meh. Whatever.
Stitch brought his arms (in both senses!) up towards the malignant fiend. "Ahi! Ahi!" And with that lovely parting phrase, Stitch let loose as much fire as these four plasma guns had in them, letting the green blasts fire without pause at the creature.

(OOC: Well now, isn't that just joyous. Immune to abilities... hmm, you're gonna force us to think on this one if we want to bring it down.)
The large NeoShadow's gambit might have worked if its target had been relatively still... and perceiving time normally. Neither was true of Magus in this case. Though not for much longer Haste's effects still remained with him, and it was this that proved his saving grace. As the Heartless emerged from the ground the shadowmage was ready, performing a flight-aided back flip over the dark-born beast with a bit of help from the NeoShadow's head, which he used as a springboard to get fully over.
Still in the air, Magus cut a wide slash at the enemy, aiming for the antennae on its head, and as he landed a second strike took aim at its backside. With Haste's influence now beginning to fade, Magus backpedaled several feet and began preparing a spell, wisps of icy blue energy flitting around his gloved hand.

(Angeal is leaving this thread. I am not deleting him, but I think I am going to redo some of his profile. Plus I've lost some of my muse for him at the moment.)
Angeal saw his attacks weren't working. He knew when he was overwhelmed, and this was one of those times. He wasn't going to stick around and die when there were other ways to redeem himself. Sure he'd feel bad, but this mission seemed almost pointless.
And thus he took flight once more and left.

The antennae of the Neoshadow was neatly severed by the scythe swing, right before the Neoshadow faded into the ground again. It raised itself up some few feet away from Magus, facinghimt. Its purple eyes gleamed and flickered, turning blue briefly. "...must... stop..." It said in a young voice, filled with pain. Then the purple regained strength, and it roared, charging Magus.
The creature outside generated a shield of energy outwards from its wings, reflecting the shots back at Stitch. It flew at the Temple, crashing its shielded body into the twisted spiked spires of the Temple, causing them to crack. These stone spiked pillars began falling on the roof of the Temple with large booms.

"Eh?" The plasma was coming back! GAH! Jumping into the air and landing safely on the side of a pillar, Stitch gave a sigh of relief. He also took that time to pocket the guns, and... ...wait, what? The pillar! IT'S FALLING APART! The rest of the pillars too! Stitch quickly examined the situation, using no small amount of brainpower. For a change. The pillars were still falling. They aren't gonna fall in two and a half seconds or anything. But they were falling. So... public destruction of property can't be avoided. Stitch grinned like he had never before. Letting go of the pillar, Stitch pulled the plasma guns out and let loose a well aimed shot at the base of each pillar, forcing all of them to fall towards the same center spot where Stitch waited eagerly. After hastily pocketing the guns, Stitch brought out all four arms in anticipation of the coming-- OOF! Guh... these pillars are waaay heavier then they look! Still... after some hard work and grunting, the blue furball managed to get the pillars upright in his arms. Sure, he hadn't grabbed all of 'em. Sure, they weren't exactly in pristine condition. But what mattered was still to come. Gripping the pillars as tight as he could, Stitch barreled off towards the nasty monster. WHOOSHThe massive collection of pillars came along a downwards arch towards the big bad nasty. "HASTA LA VISTA, BAYBEE!"

It had... spoken?! This caught Magus completely off-guard. Every account he'd ever heard of Heartless painted them as feral, animalistic beings with no higher cognition than a pack of wolves might possess. His own experiences had gone a long way towards confirming this notion as well.
Even more troubling, however, was the fact that his ally had deserted him so abruptly. Magus' scowl deepened; no matter, he'd finish what he'd started. Whether alone or with an army at his back, his resolve would not change. This place would be defended!
"I will end your pain!" He shouted, dodging hard to one side as the creature got close. One hand glowed briefly with chill blue energies before the shadowmage cast a mystical wave of winter's wrath -- not aimed at the Heartless itself, but the floor at its feet. He needed to get this foe off balance, unable to keep pace with him. As a slick layer of ice spread across the base of the room Magus took to flight, lashing out at the NeoShadow in wide, swift strikes.

The Neoshadow suddenly found itself unable to hold traction on the floor. It slipped, barely avoiding some of the strikes and blocking others. It grabbed the scythe in its hands, and began melting into darkness on the floor to form a type of pool.
WHAM!
A large amount of the spiked pillars and a shielded creature blasted through the roof, just barely missing Magus. The shield hit the Neoshadow and destroyed it instantly, the moth Heartless's shield holding up for a few moments under the pressure of the spiked pillars before they burst it, impaling the creature in more than dozen places. Both the Neoshadow and moth had been destroyed, and no pool of darkness corrupted the floor of this Temple.

And then Stitch fell down through the hole in the roof, and stood triumphantly atop the massive spread of pillars. Despite being two feet tall, or thereabouts, the diminutive alien proudly shot two of his arms in the air and shouted out, for all to hear,
"I WIN!"
And then Stitch proceeded to laugh maniacally.
After calming down from a wave of pride, Stitch flitted his head around the interior of the Temple, examining the room.
Person. Strong person, if the way they walked was anything to go by.
He. Strong guy was a he.
Stitch leapt off the mound of pillars, cannonballing straight for the ground before Magus. After landing, and mussing up the landing by ending up face first on the floor, Stitch jumped to his feet and turned to the man.
Without a moment's hesitation, Stitch stuck his hand out to the man. "Stitch."
