Aye, Aye, Captain! (Open~)

Sailing through the stars was a single Gummi ship. Occupied and driven by one person, well lady in particular. The Gummi ship as well as the Captain are pretty odd considering that the Gummi ship doesn't look like a simple Gummi ship. It's actually been costumed designed by none other than the captain herself. It looks like some sort of ship instead of a Gummi ship. Slowly the ship comes to a halt, floating in the endless abyss of stars.

The captain of the ship, called the Eden, unstraps her seatbelt and stood up. She can only be seen through the front window of the ship. She is seen stretching her arms above her head and then walking into the back of the ship. Her red long hair moving back and forth as she disappears into the rear of the ship.

What she is doing is not quite understood. Where would she be heading? Why had she stopped? To take a break? Had her ship broke down? It didn't seem like her ship did break down though. Merely that she was probably taking a break, or needed to sleep or something. Had she been traveling through the Sea of Stars for awhile? She wasn't seen again through the cockpit window..

But, she had turned on a alarm that would sound if any other vessel, object or Gummi ship was within radar distance. For now she either slept, or she did other tasks inside the ship...

[Ooc: This is a new character that is in Rough drafts. She'll be finished sometime or another, but I've been wanted to make a thread here for awhile. Got a few minutes till my class started, so I posted something =P]

It wouldn't be too long before the sounds of her alarms would go off. Not that far from where her Gummi Ship was posted, a galactic battle was nearing towards her direction. An all black fighter Gummi was being pursued by a dozen or so enemy vessels. They continuously fired at this ship but with his expert piloting skills and their lack of any aim, they were barely able to hit their target. The pilot didn't have much time left before his engines would go out he needed a place to land and fast. Sad thing is, there wasn't any nearby worlds for him to make an emergency landging. So he was practically a sitting duck.

"Damn, don't these guys ever get tired?" he yelled out as he looked back and saw that he was still being persued. One of the enemy ships managed to graze his left wing having the wing fall apart as time passed.

His scanner picked up a nearby Gummi Ship dead ahead. Having no other alternative the pilot sent out a distress signal to the other ship. Hopefully they would be able to aid him in some way.

Beep, Beep. Beep.

The radar sounded, signaling that there was something coming towards the Eden. Quickly inside the passenger part of the Gummi ship the female inside went to the cockpit to see what exactly it was. As she did, there was another beeping added to the radar. Two, no three vessels were coming towards her. No wait! A dozen plus one.

Enemy ships?

Was the one in front being pursued? It seemed like it as she saw blasts, and the radar alerted her of missiles and guns. But, she never came unequipped for such a event. The Eden had built in lasers and guns, which shot regular ammo as well as missiles. This ship cost her a lot, and she has also built part of it from a scrap metal of a ship. She pretty much built it herself, gathering parts for it.

She then got a distress call from the ship in front.

"Damn..." She said to herself as she sat down in the seat of the cockpit. She put on headphones that had a microphone attached to them. She pushed a button on the dashboard of the cockpit and began to speak into the microphone, "This is the Eden, the majestic seed." She began as she started to push more buttons, her guns appeared from the bottom of her ship. "I'll help as much as I can." She said.

It was 2 against 12. But, she had a lot of ammo..

"Missle one. Go." She said, and fired a missile. It flew past the galactic battle ship. "Missle two." Another one shot past the battle ship. "Go." She began to lock the missiles onto two of the ships that were pursuing the galactic battle ship. If she used regular ammo on her guns, there was a likely hood that the ammo would hit the very ship she was trying to help.

[Ooc: Not sure if you'd actually call this fighting fighting.... but until the enemy ships are defeated, battling is okay with me o.o..Its like some kind of star wars themed rp xDD]

It would seem that his signal reached the female Gummi pilot because now she was firing at the enemy ships behind him. The two missles had hit their target destroying two of the twelve enemy ships. Kage would have to thank this person if he made out of this place alive. His communication device was messed up so he couldn't respond to what she was saying, nor could he even hear what she was saying. For now all he could do was assume she was helping him.

The enemy ships had discovered the other Gummi ship that fired the missles and now split into two groups of five with one group headed for the Eden ship. The other group continued their persuit of Kages ship. But this move would now play into his advantage.

With his excellent piloting skills he would have them taken care of with ease. Even with a broken wing he was confident enough that he would have them destroyed in a matter of minutes. Kage pulled his Gummi ship upwards at full speed. The enemy ships quickly followed after him. Just as he thought, they were way too predictable. He quickly shut off his ship for a brief moment turning it towards the oncoming enemy ships then powered it back up at full speed towards them. They continued to fire at him as he continued his kami kaze like dive towards them moving around just enough to avoid most of the shots being fired at him.

Finally the black fighter ship zoomed past the enemy ships causing them to fire amoungst each other destroying all but one ship. It didn't go exactly as he planned but it was better than nothing. Kage would now have to avoid this one ship for the time being.

Meanwhile the other group was directing their fire at the Eden circling around the Gummi ship clockwise. They were mainly aiming for the weapons so that they would be completly defenseless.

Targets hit.

The compute said to her right as the two ships pursuing the one black gummi ship destroying two of the twelve ships. Then the remaining ten ships divided each other, half going after the black galactic ship. The other half went after her ship, the Eden. Less to take care of. She also noted that the black galactic ship did not respond, she guessed he couldn't reply. He had received relative damage. She took off her headset so that she could concentrate on the battle.

"Auto pilot off." She said to the computer.

Taking control of the wheel she looked out through the cockpit window at the five ships coming towards her. Five against one. She just hoped the black galactic ship could take care of itself for the meantime. "Battle guns ready." She said to the computer. The guns automatically changed into ammo guns. She then pushed a button on the steering wheel and started to shoot at her pursuers. She flew a bit faster towards them, gunning the guns as she did.

"Shields up."

A shield went around her gummi ship, blocking the ammo that came at the Eden.

"Laser gun. Lock on." She locked on one of the ships, and then hit a button on the dashboard. With a bright light one of the ships was destroyed. She couldn't fire again, the laser gun needed to cool down. She continued to fire the ammo.

Boom.

Two ships down. With another boom, a third ship. Some of the ships had been close together and the destruction of one of the ships lead to the destruction of another, and with the help from some ammo a forth exploded. One left.

Shadow had spent too much time and fuel to be running away from this pest of a ship. He had one option left; use the remainder of his Gummi Ships energy and put it into one final attack. It was risky and may even end up destroying him and his ship but he was willing to take that chance.

After pressing a few buttons he prepared himself for his next attack. The Gummi Ship began glowing a dark red color all gathering up at the front of the ship. He then pulled the ship upwards performing a U-turn and was now chasing after the enemy ship.

It quickly turned around and dashed forward. The two ships were now about to collide with each other. But suddenly his ship began glowing brightly as if it was suddenly given a burst of power. Shadow was completely unaware of this but used this tremendous amount of energy to his advantage.

The two ships collided with each other resulting in a huge explosion. From out of the large thick clouds and debris popped Shadows ship which slowly began to lose power. He was now stranded in space with no power. All the rest was put into the oxygen so he wouldn't suffocate or anything.

He could only hope that the Gummi Ship from before would assist him one more time. And what made matters worse was that the last enemy ship was now headed towards him firing everything it had. His ship was damaged enough already and couldn't take much more. Shadow was now a sitting duck.

"Dammit!" he said as the ship came closer and as the ship took more damage.

One enemy ship left.

The computer said to her as she looked at the explosion from the ships she had just destroyed. One had come out of that unscathed. Lila looked at the ship as it came towards her. She had no time to check on the other ship that she had decided to save. She needed to destroy this one last ship.

In the corner of the window that looked out she saw a explosion. She couldn't be sure what was happening though. As the enemy ship came towards her, she checked her guns. She couldn't use any more missiles or her laser gun, she could only use the guns. She pushed down in the trigger and bullets started to fly towards the enemy ship. She kept her thumb down on the button and bullets continued to spray towards the enemy ship.

After a moment, there was an explosion and the ship was destroyed. She pulled her hand off the button and relaxed for a moment. She then looked towards the galactic battle ship she had helped. He was floating there in space. She went over to him. Her ship had some damage but it would hold out until she got to the next world, where ever that was. She flew up besides the ship, so that the cockpits were facing each other. She then gave the pilot a thumbs up, telling him that all the enemy ships had been destroyed.

She wasn't sure if his communications were working or not so that was the best she could do to get the message across to him. Since he hadn't answered her earlier she could only guess that his radio was out.

The enemy ship was destroyed and Shadows ship was saved. But the crisis was far from over. The female pilot would quickly notice that the person inside the ship was knocked out cold. The oxygen in his ship was getting thinner by the second as well as the severe damage done to the ship caused him to black out. He just sat there slowly dying in front of her as the ship floated aimlessly in space. There was little time left for him, if she wanted him alive then she needed to either dock him in or find some other means to save him.

As she looked into his cockpit, she noticed that he was not looking towards her. But seemed to be unconscious. Knocked out cold. She let out a small sigh, if she didn't get to him soon then with the damage he might lose his precious air. Had that knocked him out in the first place? She couldn't be sure. She moved her ship towards his, eventually docking with him.

She went towards the door that would lead her towards his ship. She hoped that he was just unconscious and not dead. She'd hate to have gone through all of that and to just have him die on her. No, she wouldn't have that. She set her ship on standby, the computer would alert her of any other dangers.

Once his ship had docked inside it quickly fell to the ground once the gravity went to normal. This sudden drop managed to open his Gummi ships door letting in air inside the cockpit. Slowly but surely Shadow was able to breather better by the second. He was still unconscious but he was alive now. His face was making all sorts of grunts and his head was moving all around as if he was possessed. It would seem that Shadow was having some sort of nightmare in his unconscious state.


Shadow stood in a empty dark void with just one bright line that went on endlessly in front of him as if to tell him to go that path. He spent a long time following the bright line not really having any idea where it was taking him, but he had no other choice. Eventually he grew tired of just going one direction that he wasn't even sure would ever end. He stopped in his tracks and turned the other direction. What he saw then would shock Shadow, it was himself overshadowing him but his face was so evil and he had a strong dark aura formed around him. His clothes were also different he was wearing some kind of black armor and was holding a strange looking helmet with it. He wasn't sure what it was but all of a sudden the other Shadow reached forth and grabbed him by the neck squeezing his neck until it made a loud snap.

Shadow quickly woke up with his eyed wide open and sweat dripping down his face. He took a few deep breaths and wiped the sweat from his face. He looked around and realized he was no longer outside in the battlefield.

"Where am I?" he said to himself. "All I can remember was those Heartless ships trying to kill me. How did I end up here?"

Shadow got out of his chair and picked up his weapons as he headed out from his ship. Keeping his shotgun ready, he relaxed himself and began to concentrate on pinpointing anyone that was in the area. He soon spotted the essence of darkness which meant there was someone else here. It was faint but they were nearby. He wasn't sure who it was but he would make sure to keep his guard up should they try to pull a fast one on him. As he slowly stepped out from his beaten down ship he kept his gun pointed already charged at full power. He slowly went for the nearest door that was in the direction of where the person was.

She had to navigate her way from inside her ship to the door where she was docked with the other ship. As she walked along the metal corridor of her ship, the Eden, she zipped up the collar of her space suit, making her self some what presentable. She wore a black and blue, with hints of green, captain's suit. It fit snugly to her womanly form. Making her shape an form visible. She reached the door and went into a room, that had another door. She closed the door she had walked through, so that no air would escape from her ship.

She stood in front of the door that would lead her into the other man's ship, to him. She hit the button next to the door, the computer recognized her finger print.

Identity recognized. Captain Lila Forlight. Access confirmed.

The door then slid open. Revealing the young woman to the man that was beyond the other side of the door. As well as revealing the man to the young lady. She smiled at him, glad to see he was alive and awake. "Oooh, your alive. That's good."

Her emerald green eyes sparkled at him, glad to see he was okay. Her ruby red hair hung past her shoulders. No one would think one such as herself would be a captain of a ship such as the Eden and to traverse the Sea of Stars alone.

As Shadow was about to open the door and go inside the door opened on its own. He took a few steps back and readied his gun for whatever was about to come out. Once the door fully opened, a woman in a captains uniform came out with a big smile on her face. Shadow on the other hand wasn't in a very cheerful mood. He looked at her and held his gun down somewhat not really letting his guard down.

"Who are you and where the hell am I?" Shadow asked. He wasn't sure what was going on at the moment so he wasn't about to just let his guard down for some lady who was giving him the googly eyes. For all he knew she could be looking at him like he was her dinner. Shadow lifted his gun up somewhat aiming for the woman.

IRONIC THEME MUSIC: The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything by Reliant K

Captain Cordell Ribaldrous Furor the 10^th licked her lips as she peered through the submarine-style targeting scope of 'The Red Corsair'. She and her Heartless crew had been watching the battle unfold from a distance, far enough away not to be noticed. Yet even at this distance it was fairly clear that both of the now-docked ships had put quite a bit of effort into that fight... effort they weren't likely to recoup anytime soon. The crimson-clad young woman released the periscope and walked over to the main wheel, an array of controls and displays blinking to life as she approached.

"Heh heh... Be lookin' to me like an ample opportunity for a little piracy. What say ye, Red?"

"Long-range scans suggest one ship is damaged, possibly crippled. The prey is weak... I hunger, captain!"

The girl grinned confidently. "Hold yer horses, Red. We'll get the Hearts of the scallywags onboard, no worries... but a wounded beastie's not a tame beastie." She turned to a nearby Pirate Heartless, who stood at attention. "Tell the crew to ready the cannons and prepare for boarding action. Our first catch of the day has arrived!"

The Heartless saluted and scampered off, hefting its big sword on its shoulder while it ran. Cordell was just aflutter with excitement. She was moving up in the world! No more preying on common merchant vessels of wood and iron back home... if all went as planned, this would be her first raid on travelers from other worlds. And it looked to be a two for one special at that!

"All right, here's the plan of attack!" She loudly announced as the ship began to move, its engines roaring to life. "We'll approach them through the debris field left behind by those Heartless ships they were fighting earlier, take out the Eden's weapons, and send the crew over as soon as we're within range." Her eyes narrowed as a faint shadow fell over her confidence. "Of course, I'll be right behind them - those buffoons have trouble dealing with armed merchants, so no doubt I'll have to lead the assault if this is going to work. Once they've surrendered to our superior pirate skills, we'll claim their cargo and their Hearts!"

"A sound plan, captain."

"HAH HAH HAH HAH! They'll never know what hit 'em!"

The ship was accelerating now, nearing its top speed. Soon they'd be within range to begin the plan... soon they'd be the first trans-world victims of Captain Cordell Ribaldrous Furor the 10^th!
