History: Déjà was born to a woman who died shortly after giving birth. She lived in a world called Thrae, which is an anagram, and an alternate universe, to the world Earth. She was raised in a bustling city called New Amsterdam in a country called Acirema by her father, elder sister and brother. Déjà’s family loved and supported each other through difficult times, as they were living through the birth of the country Acirema, during which several issues and wars took place.
Déjà’s father was a middle-low class producer of several products. Déjà and her siblings were educated as much as possible, mostly Déjà, and they struggled hard to be successful with their lives, to make their dead mother proud. However, when Déjà’s brother lost hope, he slacked off with work and education, and this made him so miserable that he ran away when Déjà was around nine years old.
It was at that time when issues occurring in the government rendered issues with Déjà’s father as a merchant. He lost his job and his house, and the family stayed with the rich sisters of Déjà’s mother in the city for several years. It was also during this time when Déjà experienced true fear and sadness, and when her powers developed. Being close to her three aunts, who all possessed the powers that were untapped within Déjà’s genetics, had partly unlocked the key that enabled Déjà to use her abilities. All three of her aunts had far more advanced versions of the ones Déjà possessed within her.
The three aunts pampered Déjà and her sister with new, rich clothes and a fabulous lifestyle. Déjà was appalled when her father disapproved of the aunts’ actions, because Déjà believed they were so kind and generous. It was then that she wondered if there was something more to this disapproval.
Her first aunt, George, had the power of telepathy, or being able to recognize the feelings and thoughts of others. Her second aunt, Kathy, had the power of telekinesis, or moving objects with her mind. And the third, called Dolly, had the most powerful ability of all: psychokinesis, or being able to modify matter with the mind. All three aunts possessed the power of precognition, or being able to correctly predict the future, and Déjà was instantly amazed and inspired by her three aunts to learn more about parapsychology and the mysteries of paranormal events concerning the mind and spirit.
However, Déjà’s strict father warned her about her three rich aunts. Even though they lived in a penthouse apartment and were fabulously rich and talented in ways people never imagined, there was an apparent problem surrounding them. Déjà’s father never had good relations with the aunts, and when Déjà turned thirteen she knew why: the three aunts used their powers to steal large amounts of money and to manipulate others. She found that this was true with her own powers.
One day, when George and Kathy were sitting in the living room of the penthouse apartment in New Amsterdam at midnight, George opened a letter containing large amounts of money. Unable to go to sleep, Déjà peeked downstairs and could immediately feel the glee that the sisters were feeling when they opened the letter. They experienced so much giddiness that it almost seemed as if they were greedy for the money. Still in a state of half-sleep, Déjà unwillingly used her powers of clairvoyance to see that the money rightfully belonged to someone else. George sensed her thoughts and the two aunts seized Déjà and made her swear that she would never tell anyone about what she had just found out.
It was then that Déjà mentally distanced herself from the aunts. It was also then that she started to listen to her father more, despite his strict expectations of her. In privacy, she told her sister and father what she had learned and the three planned to leave the penthouse immediately, in secrecy. However, this was impossible, for the house was sealed and the family could not escape. It was then that Dolly had killed Déjà’s father in a fit of fury, demanding that he not leave. Déjà and her sister knew that the sisters would be in danger if the family left, and they also knew that the sister’s were certain of this too. After killing Déjà’s father, the girl and her sister had no choice but to remain in the custody of the three vicious aunts.
But, one day, Déjà’s sister, Melanie, begged for the two to escape. She demanded that the aunts make a negotiation with her; if they let Déjà and her sister leave with a bit of their money, then they would not say a word about how the aunts stole all the money they owned. However, the aunts disagreed. They were far too greedy to let anybody leave with even a morsel of their huge stacks of money. For a few months, the siblings were imprisoned in the penthouse apartment until the authorities traced the large amounts of money being stolen from rich companies and from the government, and ended up at the aunts’ residency.
The three aunts were forced to surrender, and so they did. Déjà didn't notice that her brother was within the authorities who rescued her until he told her himself. However, she didn't get to see him again because he left yet again after he put her and Melanie in the safe hands. The authorities also rescued the siblings and escorted them to their nearest relative, who lived in another state, and who was the godson of their father. Of course, they were astonished to find that their father had a godson, but relieved that they didn’t have to stay in an orphanage. While they were in the custody of the authorities, the president of Acirema asked Déjà if she had any powers, like her aunts. She was compelled to tell the truth to the president, and so she did, despite her Melanie’s protests. The president acknowledged this and let her go.
A few years later, Déjà was asked by the president to become an agent for him, a secretive agent in the authorities who would undergo missions of espionage for him. Déjà accepted and was presented with a gun to aid her in her missions. She then requested for another one to be made for her. She kept her job secret from everyone around her, even those she loved, in order to keep her and the affairs of the president safe.
When a large war with another country broke out, Déjà’s job as a spy was far more pressuring. She was asked to gain knowledge of the opposition and to perform daunting tasks to weaken the other side. Déjà travelled to the other country, disguised as a common person of that nation, in order to undergo this job. She lied to Melanie and her uncle, telling them that the president wished for her to attend a special school, but it definitely was not easy. When she had succeeded in nearly all of her missions, she returned back to her own country via ship and supposedly died when the ship was blown apart by meteors that came from nowhere in the sky, followed by ‘the falling space’(people thought Darkness to be space, or antimatter, which came apart from up above). After this strange and sudden calamity, Déjà found herself in a completely new world, a world known as Hollow Bastion, and had a dying urge to return to her world and to see the outcome of the war, as well as if the world was at all damaged by these meteors and the ‘falling space’.

Appearance:
Physical Features: Even though Déjà’s body is hidden by layers of clothing, she is fit for her age. She isn’t very tall, and is just about fit, thus making her quite light and agile. Déjà has a curvy body and would seem attractive to most people. She is a little skinny, and combined with her height this makes Déjà seem very small. Sometimes people even mistake her to be much younger than her true age because of this.
Facial Features: A notable feature about Déjà’s face is the cosmetics she uses. She uses wax to color her lips, a slight blush to redden her cheeks a little and a white powder to make her face pale. She isn’t a complete victim to fashion, but she still believes in being beautiful. Her eyes are an olive-brown color and her hair is slightly curly and dark brown. Déjà was told that her body made her pretty and not her face.
Clothing: Déjà wears dresses of pale colors with ornate frilliness and lace. Her style of clothing comes from that of the late 1700s. She doesn’t wear dresses with extremely large bottoms and she doesn’t wear wigs of the extreme (such as with many fruits and ribbons and such), but she still enjoys being fashionable. Her dresses do include ribbons and such, sometimes flowers and feathers too, and she has a wide variety of hats. Everything she wears is old-fashioned because she comes from an old-fashioned time.
Miscellaneous Items/Articles: Sometimes, Déjà will carry a parasol around with her.
Personality:
Resolve: Déjà wishes to find out what happened to her world and family after she was taken from her planet. She also wants to know more about her abilities and how she can expand their power for the good of mankind.
Pursuit: The girl searches for knowledge that can tell her more about her powers and how she can help them grow. Déjà also tries to find out about what happened to her world, and she knows that the only way she can do this is by exploring.
Fears: Déjà is afraid that she will not be able to return to her world and find out what happened to it after she left it. A smaller fear is that she would meet hostile beings or people on the way of her journey, something she is anxious to avoid.
Hopes: Déjà’s only hopes are the thoughts of finding out what happened to her world after she left it unwillingly.
Hobbies: Déjà enjoys listening to music, spending time with friends and learning and studying. The girl loves practicing her abilities to try and extend their power and uses and exploring new places that might give her pleasure or knowledge. She also enjoys being creative and constructive, and this is how she lets her emotions out. She will write, draw or listen to music and daydream.
Public Personality: Déjà is very different in public than she is in private, almost as if she is a different person. In the public, she is rather shy and quiet, but still fun to be around. She doesn’t open up easily to strangers, and her true emotions are far more bottled up with the public rather than in private. However, Déjà is more confident than she truly believes. She is more polite and courteous to acquaintances and friends than those who are very close to her. In the public, Déjà might seem like an angel, to some. But she does have visible flaws: sometimes, in trying to be more elegant and graceful than she already is (so as to make good impressions), the girl ends up making a fool out of herself. The truth is, Déjà is not really that elegant and graceful, despite the fact that she was taught to become like this. It's just not in her nature. In truth, the girl is a klutz, but only in areas where her skill is scarce.
Private Personality: But in private, Déjà is sometimes an emotional wreck. If she believes she’s alone, or if she is with a family member or a very close friend, she will express her emotions very freely. At times, she will be laid back, in her own time. But with others, Déjà’s private personality is filled with ecstasy. The emotions that she doesn’t get out during this time get released when she is creative or constructive, and when she listens to music. However, this is something that enabled Déjà to gain her abilities; Déjà has a characteristic ability to let go of her senses and to fall into a self-imposed hypnotic state.

Weapons:
Weapon Name: Goldies
Weapon Description: The Goldies are old-fashioned pistols conceived of gold and made especially for Déjà. Their handles are wooden and they have ornate, curvy engravings on them. They can hold many bullets at a time but they are relatively light.
Unique Notes: Déjà prudently received one of these pistols when she was very young. When she got the hang of it, she decided to secretly ask for another one to be created to help her with her profession [refer to History].
Abilities:
Base Ability: Parapsychology
Sub Abilities:
1. Telepathy – Déjà has the ability to feel the emotions and to feel/hear the thoughts of those around her, and she can somehow tell who these emotions and thoughts belong to, thus sometimes enabling her to fully understand a person's concern about something. She can control this power relatively well, having practiced before, but it is not something she can undergo constantly. Like with her other powers, she needs to take breaks from this power.
2. Clairvoyance – 'Clairvoyant' in French literally means 'clear vision'. This extra-sensory perceptive ability gives Déjà the power to gain information about certain objects, people, locations or physical events. For example, if Déjà has a set of keys, but only one of them open to a door, then she might be able to use clairvoyance to help her visualize and choose the correct key. Another example is that she may gain information about a person near to her, but only small details such as birthday dates or which parent they inherited their eye color from. This ability is one of the most difficult for Déjà to control and sometimes she even unwillingly uses it.
3. Astral Projection - Déjà may 'walk' out of her body as her spirit, traveling within the plain of 'spirits', as some call it. When she does this, her body will still be active, but unconscious because her spirit would have temporarily left. It would be almost as if a coma swept over the body. Even though Déjà would be in a different plane, she would still be able to hear, see and feel things in the normal world, but she would just be unable to physically modify anything and contact with people from the 'normal' plain.
