"My classmates," Guy answered. He was smiling all the time now, and apparently quite relaxed. His right foot was held behind him a little and touched the ground by its toes. "I guess you could say I'm on kind of a... school trip."

"Oh." Well... unexpected. Definetly unexpected. School, eh? Field trip too.
...lucky. Weren't any real field trips at her old school.
Nodding, Mora continued, "School trip, huh? Why are you the only one out here then?"

"Well...." Guy's right index finger stroked his cheek as he looked up and to the side, apparently finding the question a little difficult to answer. "We're allowed to pretty much go wherever we want, so a lot of people usually end up in specific groups or just wandering alone wherever."
He chuckled again and got both hands back to his waist.
"I heard this place was a famous tournament site so I thought maybe I'd meet up with some of them here."

"Well, yeah." Looking around the famous building pointedly, Mora motioned towrds a far wall. Inscribed on it was a list of prior tournaments and their winners.
And losers.
"That's the wall of fame and shame. If it's names you're looking for, that'd be the place to look.
"Otherwise," she continued, shrugging, "you're outta luck. Right now it's, well, the off season. No tournaments right now or coming up, strictly speaking..." It didn't do to mention Hades' tournaments... Not unless you wanted him to show, if the rumors were true.

Guy was sort o silent for a while as he looked at the list in the distance and then back to Mora. After a bit he cracked and shook hsi head, looking embarrassed again.
'Well I feel silly,' Guy thought. 'I guess she's not one of the students after all. Not surprising, I suppose.'
Without explaining himself the teen decided to instead change the topic.
"So if its the off-season what's the training for?"

Mora sighed. Rambling mode... on. "Okay, I'm generally not an active person. Don't really need the exercise. I keep to the back, I play chess, I tell people what to do, yadda yadda yadda. Then I left school. Well, after finishing anyway. So I finished school. And then I left home. Just, y'know, wasn't interested in the 'stand in the back and be the strategic person' thing. Now all I've got is a small bit of magic and a big gun. Having this thing pretty much means I'll be living the life of a sniper. So if I'm gonna be doing that, I've gotta have the stamina of a sniper. Can't just sit in the same tree or whatever all day, right? So if I'm going to be able to last more than... five seconds in any variation of a real world, I've gotta be able to hold my own. Otherwise, I'm better off going back home. But that's not an option! Heading home--"
She took a breath and--

"I thought snipers were supposed to stay in one place for as long as possible with no revealing movements."
He interrupted. Bluntly. Still smiling and looking interested.

Mora stopped. And started again. "Well, that's what you'd think. But in the heat of battle, you're going to need to be active. If it's just one target, sure, you might be able to get away with it. But if somethign goes wrong, you'll be running for your life. And in the heat of battle, you'll be making shots left and right. Staying in one position will get you killed. They'd find you easily and then they'd take up the wisdom of moving around. Learning from the opponents' mistakes. Moving around unseen, and being able to do it continuously, makes for panic and control of the emotional environment--"
Antoher breath, and--

"So you're really looking to be more of an assassin than just a sniper?"
He interrupted. Again. And with a surprising amount of carefree in his voice for a kid who was just told by another kid that they were planning to make their living as some sort of contract killer.

The seventeen-year-old did a half shrug. "More like bounty hunter. Sorta. Sniping can be more defensive than you'd realize at first, you know."

"Nah, I get it," Guy said with a wave of his hand. "A lot of the kids from my school are into the guns thing. I don't have much taste for weapons myself."
He certainly didn't think it sounded odd to say that or imagine the image of a dangerous high school he might have been painting.
"So basically you want to be able to run from sniper spot to snip[er spot as fast as possible and undetected," he assessed.

Another half shrug from Mora. "Basically. When you put it like that.
"I can do the undetected bit, for the most part." With that, Mora gripped the edge of her sleeve and concentrated. The blue robe now to on a camo appearance. "My issue, with the moving around, is the being able to keep up with it. I can run pretty fast, though not really, I guess. But I've got to be able to keep running fast. ...yeah." she nodded without any specific purpose.

"Nice," he'd say when he saw her clothes change. But that was all and he would let her continue.
"Hmmm..."
Guy held his chin while looking down at Mora's feet, as if thinking something over.
"Well then," he began, looking back up to her eyes. "What if you just ran faster? Then you wouldn't have to do it for as long, right?"
Bulletproof logic.

Mora Pfft'd. "Yeah, if I wanted to get tired much more quickly. If I want to be able to keep up the pace, I've gotta be able to stay in shape.
"...okay, get in shape. Then I'd have to stay in shape."
That question raised a silent question in the back of Mora's head.

"Aw, but running is the best stamina booster around!" Guy insisted with a cheerful disposition. "If you improved on your top speed then running slower for longer periods would be even easier!"
Kid had a thing for running, apparently. Maybe that explained the staring earlier.
