Physical appearance ~ : Intimidating isn’t a word that comes to mind when one takes a first glance at Tony. Even at the age of 23, this athlete is a bit less than adequate in muscle tone and is a bit disheveled. This usually spontaneous ball player takes pride in his height, standing at 5”8. This guy also weighs in at 143 Lbs, minus his clothes, and has almost no muscle whatsoever, except for a four pack, which isn’t something to brag about. His face flows together quite well, though his cleft chin makes things a bit awkward looking.
This guy, even after hard years working in a field, still fails to get a tan, though his skin keeps some color. Unkempt, brown hair sits on top of Tony’s pretty head, curving off from the front to reveal his eyes and sort of defying gravity by shooting back a bit. Strands of loose hair often fall over his eyes, though they don’t really bother him. As for his eyes, they’re a normal green color.
A light fuzz is beginning to grow on his chin, since his shaved face makes him look too young. There’s a reason why Tony prefers not to wear a shirt and that’s due to his ceremonial tattoos. You have to follow the rules of other Worlds, though, so… The markings signify a very important aspect in the life of Tony’s race. The design starts as a black circle in between the breast area, an ancient phrase written around the edges.
From the cardinal directions, a single tendril tattoo spreads out in a straight line to each arm and leg and begins to circle the appendage once it meets the area where it connects to the body. Another circle circles the belly button area, this circle made of another message. One last circular symbol rests on the middle of Tony’s back.
Clothing/Accessories ~ : Clothing is quite simple for someone like Tony. He’s a baseball player, after all, so why not dress like one? Starting from the basics, this athlete covers his tattooed body in bandages while wearing clothes, since, according to his race’s customs, bad luck comes from having clothing and the sacred symbols touching. From this, the usual things like underwear and socks cover their respective areas. Following this, a white undershirt covers the torso and is tucked neatly into a pair of less-than-formfitting, dark denim jeans.
A tight, white jacket with red shoulders covers the rest of the torso, a red B stitched on the right breast area. Tony doesn't look for fashionable shoes, or anything for that matter, so he decides to wear shoes with a nice grip on the bottom. This is effective for running through sand and it's more convenient than wearing cleats.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Alignment ~ : Neutral
Behavior ~ : Tony is very sarcastic and was like this at birth. He would never be serious when a situation called for it, even in school. This got on the nerves of almost everyone who he met and this is why his parents decided to shape him up. This was one of the worst things they could've imagined. Even after the "treatment" they put this guy through, he never changed. This is his true nature and one of the reasons why he got the Knife he did.
After growing up, though, changes happened. When in his early teens, Tony was still sarcastic as ever, but he knew when to use it, which made first impressions much better for him. During this time, he also obtained a sense of duty, though this was small and didn't help much in the sarcasm category.
Now, to stray from this subject, Tony also has problems with people, if that wasn't already obvious. Conversations are very bland and are always ended with the usual sarcasm from Tony's side. Shop keepers never enjoy having him in on a regular basis, due to him usually staying in and window shopping, or taking up time that could be used with other customers.
Serious isn't a word in the "Tony dictionary". Even so, there's a nice little definition of it quoted straight from the man himself. "Serious is a state of mind that slows you down. You never get anything done when being serious!" This isn't to say that he doesn't go serious at times. When he does go into this state, Tony will talk in a dampered tone, continually straying from a conversation and talking to himself.
Now, onto his love life. When he does get a girl, Tony can't help but to act bashful. His cheeks turn embarrassingly red and he turns into a puppet. He also can't help but stare at a very nice looking woman. This is due to the restrictions his race has made on flirting and the like, which he left behind when he appeared in a new World. Still, if he's going against a cute lady in a fight, there won't be remorse.
Fighting is something Tony loves when the time calls for it. Nothing pumps you up like a good ol' fight, does it? This is exactly the reason why his Knife is in "The Fang" class. Even though his nature is led to more of a protective status, his inner being is a strong believer in war.
Primary Weapon(s)
ID: Steel Fungo Bat
Quality: Average
The Fungo bat is a bat used mainly by coaches during practice. This particular bat is 36 inches long and weighs about 24 ounces, allowing heightened accuracy when hitting the ball. A Fungo bat is made for hitting balls tossed into the air instead of the normal pitched ball. Being made of steel packs a bit more punch when being hit, which is exactly what Tony was aiming for. This can also be used effectively as a one-handed club to bash people over the head.
Secondary Weapon(s)
ID: Knife of the Guardian
At first glance, this looks to be just a regular old knife, but in reality, it's something much more lethal. This knife is what every teenager obtains when getting their Guardian. This is very special and is seen in its sheath more than anything. When getting the Guardian, the teen will use a blank knife to cut their hands and their Guardian's paw/hand so that they can mix blood. This is commonly known as "The Blood Pact".
After doing so, the entire knife transforms, usually being different from another's Knife. For Tony, his Knife took the appearance of "The Fang" class. This depicts him as a member meant for war and destruction, which is very odd for one of the Lushrion race. The Knife is just as it sounds; a giant, sharp fang with a cloth-wrapped hilt. Strings of beads are also wrapped around the hilt, but they dissapear when Tony's Guardian appears alongside him for battle.
Energy Manipulation
[Description of ability]: Due to having a Guardian, any member of the Lushrion race that has one can manipulate small amounts of energy from around them to make an object. Due to restrictions, these objects cannot be used for offensive purposes, but since Tony isn't at home, rule breaking is a nice thing. Usually, since Tony loves baseball, he creates energy in the shape of a normal baseball and practices with it. Still, this ability can be used to create small knives, or any other object about a foot in length.
There's no specific element to this energy, but damage is slightly increased for blunt objects. Knives and other sharp objects used to impale others are less effective.
Strength: Weak [2 Ap]
Uses: Passive Ability
["Get Serious!"]
[Description of ability] This particular ability is nice, but is used sparingly as it's sort of spontaneous. When activated, the weight of the Fungo bat becomes lighter to Tony, allowing for a nice number of combos. A drawback to this is that, once used, there will be a point where he will freeze and leave himself open for attack. This is the spontaneous part, since there's never a specific time to when he freezes.
Strength: Weak [2 Ap]
Uses: Three times during a thread. 7 post cooldown. Initial freezing time is within 2-3 posts.
Homerunner
[Description of ability] This is what Tony's known for, baby! His homerun count in one season was higher than his rival's, which immediately brought him into the spotlight. Commemerating the continuous homeruns, this ability adds a nice little punch to the energy ball he chooses. This works ONLY for the energy baseball and nothing else. The distance that the chosen ball travels is up to a meter, though the farther it travels, the easier it is to dodge the attack. At point blank range, the ball could be near lethal to anyone's health, but why would Tony cheat like that?
Strength: Weak [2 Ap]
Uses: Twice during a battle. 5 round cooldown.
Summons
Name: Mr. Bones
Appearance: Mr. Bones is, like his name, made completely of bones. The initial shape of this summon is that of an oversized velociraptor, being five times larger than a normal velociraptor. No organs, or meat in general, are present on Mr. Bones, which makes him quite intimidating to anyone that has some sanity. The bones, unlike most fossils, are much darker than they normally would be, probably due to it being taller.
The sickle like claw on it's hands are much larger, due to its "evolution" and are now a much more dangerous weapon. For a direct measurement, the length of this claw is exactly thirteen inches. Did I say there was no flesh? My bad, I guess I didn't count its yellow-green eyes that hide inside of the respective sockets. It is highly rumored that the fang on Tony's Knife comes directly from Mr. Bones himself, though no sign of any missing teeth are present on the living fossil.
Also, as an added bonus, a series of spikes line the top portion of each segment of the coccyx(tail bone) until the final five segments.
Abilities:
AP: 0
[Insert Ability One name here]: Seismic Shockwave
[Description of ability] This ability is quite devastating as it is used to create a massive earthquake the sends giant chunks of the earth flying towards an opponent. This move is part of the Earthquake Set, related to Giga Quake from many of the other large Guardians out there. Chunks of earth are relatively large, the largest looking to measure to seven and a half feet in diameter. The farthest they can be thrown is up to fifteen feet.
Strength: Strong [6 Ap]
Uses: Twice in an entire thread. Seven round cooldown.
[Insert Ability Two name here]: Hunting Instinct
[Description of ability] Hunting Instinct allows for Mr. Bones to increase his attack and accuracy rate for each attack, though at a price. For this ability to work, defense must be given up, but he doesn't need it anyways. Hunting Instinct literally sends Mr. Bones into a rage, but a good one.
Strength: Moderate [4 Ap]
Uses: Three times per battle. Five round cooldown.
[Insert Ability Three name here]: Survival Instinct
[Description of Ability] This allows Mr. Bones to increase his defense, though he has to give up his attack in order to do so. This is usually used in tight spots and when Mr. Bones is about to go down for the count in one last hit. His speed is slightly increased, too. This all allows him to dodge effectively and be able to take a few more hits before the bell rings.
Strength: Moderate [4 Ap]
Uses: Once in a battle.
Elemental Resistance: Earth
Elemental Weakness: Water
History: Mr. Bones is just a nickname given to him upon making "The Pact" with Tony. Frarkraken was his original name back when he roamed in the land of Guardians. Mr. Bones was always quite eccentric when living in the Guardian realm, always making things bigger than they should be. Like Tony, though, he changed drastically while aging. In the Guardian realm, there were many wars that took place, due to the controversy of wether or not there should be only a certain type of Guardian left.
This war broke out into many others and, in no time at all, Mr. Bones was dragged into the war. For hundreds of years, nothing changed and the rules were left alone. Due to this catastrophe, Frarkraken had become severly injured and had to be put away as a restricted Guardian, which meant what it sounds like. Only one individual that shares the exact same ideals as the restricted Guardian may free them from this title, so, after a few years of waiting in the darkness, Frarkraken finally became free.
Still, he was weak since his injuries weren't tended to. This made things easier for Tony when he finally met Mr. Bones, allowing for a quick cutting of the hands to make "The Pact". Ever since making this pact, Frarkraken had lost all of his skin, excluding his eyes. Even after this loss of organs and tissues, Mr. Bones was grateful, and still is grateful, to Tony for letting him out of the darkness and giving him a new life to live.
The Land of Gersidol
Gersidol is a name that brings only peaceful memories to anyone living in this World. Throughout this lovely area, you'll find nothing but lush and beautiful landscapes, not to mention towering, awe inspiring castles filled with armored knights and royalty. Mythical creatures and varying races live throughout this breath taking World, making their homes and letting their cultures be known to travelers who seek knowledge.
There are four main landscapes that are a must see, those being the Great Sea, Polar Crag, Li' Thsela, and "Grandfather", a giant stone hand.
Races
In Gersidol, there are three main races that cover the land. The most abundant is that of Humans, who are usually Kings and Queens of a piece of land. The second largest are called Grandels, which are usually very tall with quills running down their backs. The third race is Lushrion, who are very docile and human-like, but their customs seperate them from Humans, as do their abilities.
Of course, other races inhabit Gersidol, but they're very minor and hide themselves away instead of opening up like the main three races. One such race is the Tro race who hide in caves. They transform into animals, but rarely go into the open even when transformed, due to hunters. Our story rests within the Lushrion race, following mostly a single Lushrion child through his aging.
Lushrion Race
The Lushrion race is very different from the Human race, due to their ability to manipulate the energy around them. They are also seperated because of their Guardians that follow them until death. Lushrions usually live alongside each other in large cities or villages and are built around a central plaza where most festivities are held. Occasionally, if a family wants it, they will hold the Guardian Pact in the plaza for all to see. This makes a few Lushrions uneasy, for it could lead to travelers who stray into the plaza to pester for such a beast as a Guardian. So far, nothing like this has happened.
Energy manipulation is very common and many kids use it for things like shovels when playing in the sand, or even forks and spoons. Rules state that, at no time whatsoever, a Lushrion is never allowed to use their energy to harm others in any way. Rules like this are always followed and keep crimes down to a minimum. Guardians are also restricted from killing anyone who harms, or wishes to harm their Pact Child. If this happens, the Guardian is sent away by the community to live in the Guardian Realm and be judged there.
The Lushrion race has many rules and customs, hundreds of them, so we'll skip most of them for now.
Tony Lushrion
Tony had been brought to this World by a miracle from God. His mother had been extremely sick lately and was told that there was no cure for her illness. Sadly, as most of you probably wanted, no cure was found and Tony was raised by his father after his mother died. For three years, Tony was motherless until his father found a new love. Being so young, the future athlete had no idea what was happening, so he just believed that this woman was his mother.
As he grew older, his true, sarcastic nature began to unfold, making things extremely hard for his parents. Teachers were furious with him, because he never took anything seriously. This also made it hard to find friends who would put up with him. Another thing that made things hard was that he was a trouble maker. With his ability of energy manipulation, he would create sticks and poke people who came by, getting himself in trouble on countless occasions.
This struck his parents and, with nowhere left to turn, they signed him up for a program that would make him less of a brat. This training method was quite simple, sending Tony to a summer camp where doing bad things got you a time out in a dark room. This is where he spent most of his days, attempting to fake becoming a good person. This finally worked and he was sent home, where he returned to his old self, though now he knew when to use his sarcastic tone.
This didn't exactly help him much, though, since he had a bad record for himself. It wasn't until he finally turned sixteen that he got a friend who could stand up to his sarcasm and troubles. Due to the customs of the Lushrion race, a teenager of sixteen years of age gets their first chance at obtaining their Guardian. This little ceremony wasn't made public, but relatives and neighboors alike came to see Tony's Guardian ceremony. Before anything is done, sticks are lit around the teen to create a sort of atmosphere.
Then, a ceremonial black ink is carried in from somewhere, usually the local church, along with a thin brush. This ink is permanent and never comes off, which is why an expert painter comes in to draw the correct symbols. The first circle is drawn in between the breast area with a message inside of this circle, following the sides. The message says, "The heart to contain the Guardian." Next, the circle is placed around the belly button area made of a message which says, "The soul to withstand the pain"
Then, a regular circle is placed in between the shoulder blades on the back. After this dries, the painter creates tendrils from the cardinal directions that wrap around the arms and legs as they meet with the main body. This symbolizes the bond between both Child and Guardian. After everything dries, the family and all watchers have a feast of meat and wheat wine. This readies the Child for the transfer from the World of Gersidol to the Realm of the Guardians.
Tony had gone through each preperation step and was finally handed his blank knife, laying down on a ceremonial mat as the ones around him chanted something mysterious, sending him into a sleepy state and into a world of magic.
Guardian's Realm
"Man... Why does going into this Realm make you sleepy?" From the great beyond came a teenager who seemed good enough, but inside he was more of a trouble maker than anyone knew. Tony's eyes opened up to a bright sun, the heat burning his skin. The future athlete sat up, rubbing his eyes as he searched for any sign of his Guardian. "I wonder where the thing is?"
The world he was sent to looked like something from a fantasy story, what with all the crystal-like trees and diamond mountains. This obviously had to be the Guardian Realm, but the question remains; Where's his Guardian? Tony didn't want to stay here for a long time. He felt like something was watching him, waiting for him to stumble upon a trap laid out for his arrival.
"Wait!... Kid, please! Help me!" From behind him, Tony heard a faint, tired voice. Not the most intimidating thing, but it was possibly a Guardian, ready to trick him into something deadly. Slowly, the teen turned around, his chest beating hard. The image he saw next startled him, making him fall flat on his bottom. The thing behind him was a dinosaur, a velociraptor, much larger than it normally should be.
On both of its hands were sickle-like claws that could tear through flesh like warm butter. The teeth it flashed when it smiled didn't make anything any better. For once, Tony was completely terrified to the point of not being able to make a move. On this monster's body were thrash marks and imprints of teeth, meaning that this thing must've been in some kind of deadly battle.
"Please... Listen to what I have to say. I'm a Guardian that was banished, due to my wounds, you see? I never got them treated, so... Just make 'The Pact' please?" No. It couldn't be true. This thing had claws the size of human children! How could it have been injured so easily?
The story was, indeed, hard to swallow, but where were the other Guardians? "H-How can I trust you!? You're a dangerous animal! How do I know if you're not here to eat me!?" A sigh from the dinosaurs side. The way this thing looked at Tony gave the skinny fellow a sympathetic feeling. "It's hard to explain everything that happened... hundreds of years ago. I beg of you! Just trust me, please! I'll do anything for you, even if that means killing someone!"
Tony knew he was going to regret this moment for the rest of his life. The lanky teen slowly inched forward, knife in hand. This knife wouldn't be anything compared to the natural weapons that tis velociraptor had, but anything was better than nothing. It took long enough for Tony to finally reach the Guardian and, even though the reptile didn't lash out, the teen was shaking all over. "O-o-okay... Where do you want me to cut?"
A large hand slowly crawled forward, the sickle claw looking more like a sword than a from this point. He made an incision quickly and without hesitation, crawling back a bit to keep his distance. "The cut's deep enough, don't you think!?" This comment was something that Tony felt like he would've said in this exact moment, were he a Guardian. So, it was true then, what everyone said.
The Guardian is just like the one it protects. The Lushrion stared at his hand for minutes as silence swept over the area. The wind rushing by made no sound as the trees rustled and danced. Then, the cut was made. It was a swift act, but as soon as it was finished, Tony rushed forward to mix his blood with that of the velociraptor, bonding them together for their entire life.
Afterwards
To everyone's surprise, the knife had changed when the two returned from the Realm. This was normal for everyone who got their Guardian, but the shape of the knives meant something. There are exactly three classes of knives that the blank takes the initial form of. The first is "The Traveler", which takes the form of a decorative, steel blade. This signifies the bravery and adventurous spirit of the individual.
The second form is "The Scholar". The knife transforms into a deadly, feather shaped knife with crystals shoved into random areas. This shows the love for knowledge and their strong will power. The final form is an odd form and is not usually looked upon as good. This is "The Scavenger" form which takes the form of any type of fang, or claw with strings of colored beads hanging from the hilt. This shows the love for the fight and inner warrior of the individual who gets said blade.
Tony was one of the few who has this knife. Having this certain knife doesn't make one a bad person, but fist fighting and the likes are very rare in the Lushrion race.
Years passed like bullets...
After recieving his new Guardian, which he named Mr. Bones due to his Guardian being made completely of bone, Tony decided to keep his sarcasm to a minimum to study in school for an education. This was a plan given to him by Mr. Bones himself, since the job of the Guardian is to also help their Child succed. Travelers from afar appeared more abundantly, since the summer was coming closer, and these people showed the Lushrion race new things. The one thing Tony's interest was drawn to was the sport named "Baseball" which is played by many others in other "Worlds".
Travelers also explained the different experiences they've been through and have also shared their own customs with that of the Lushrion race. Tony, no matter what other sport was shown to him, was still interested in Baseball, so whenever an adventurer wandered in from another World, he would ask them about the sport. Usually, he would get plenty of information about the game and it would always be different stuff.
Once and only once has someone given Tony something to keep. At one point in time, a coach for this sport had wandered in and took rest in Gerisdol. Of course, the lanky teen took the first opportunity he had to ask questions. There was a big discussion about this topic, along with other random things, that eventually led to the coach giving this enthusiastic youngster a gift. This gift was his incredibly awesome Fungo bat.
Apparently, coaches like the traveler used this often for practices. This made the present all the more special, because now, if people were interested, he could coach! He knew all of the rules and procedures and he could probably gather a friend that knows how to make things like bats and stuff! The dream of coaching a team bothered Tony for a long time... Until one night...
It was a long time after getting his Guardian. Tony was at least twenty-two years old during this time. He was finally living in an apartment, along with a female colleague in the local college. There was nothing between them, of course. Well, that's what Tony liked to believe. Anyways, the night this happened was a dreadful one.
Monsters attacked Gersidol, covering it in complete darkness from Grandfather to Li' Thsela. Of course, the main Lushrion capital where Tony lived was right next to Li' Thsela. According the the customs of the Lushrion race, the energy manipulation was not a plausible weapon. Neither were the Guardians, so, with primitive weapons that didn't phase the monsters one bit, Gersidol fell. This wasn't to say that the lanky teen didn't escape.
Apparently, when these things attacked, something in the nature of Gersidol created black holes of a sort. What they were, no one knows. The only one who has any memory left of that night was Tony, who fell into such a vortex after being chased down. That's it. Gersidol is no more, to Tony's knowledge at least, and everyone he knew was gone.
The vortex... it took him somewhere odd, somewhere that was far more interesting than the Lushrion capital. Asking around, he finally knew where he was. This little place was called "Halloween Town". Everywhere one looked, there were monsters of all sorts. Werewolves and Devils, not to mention a few eccentric witches flying around.
Tony wasn't exactly scared, but he was surprised by the sudden change of scenery. From beautiful to dreadful was a big change for even Mr. Bones, since he lived in a place with crystal trees! Tony would live his life here for a week, or two before finally being told how to escape from the dreadful prison of this nightmare town.
The device was called a "Gummi Ship" and this would apparently take him anywhere in the galaxy, as long as the gas tank wasn't empty. Tony and Mr. Bones were both thinking of something awesome, like a giant, silver starship, but alas, they were both fooled as a green and slimy creature dragged a fruity red and yellow ship from the lake.
It didn't matter what it was, though, as long as Mr. Bones could fit in with him. So, with a few parting goodbyes, Tony and his Guardian were off to new places. With the single light of a dream, the teen flew into the stars, Fungo bat still hanging from his side like it had when he was younger.
