So they're all pretty lame.

I just wish that the developers would realize that some if not most rpg players have their characters leveled up pretty high and have tons of potions and ATK and DEF ups in their disposal making boss fights easier by then. If they just had them as hard as they were in their Final Mix counterparts, then these guys would have more of my respect Combat-wise.

Hades was pretty pansy for a god] (-starts something with Nascent-). You did NOT just... ... ... ... okay, it's true. Strongest? That really depends what kind of "strength" we're talking about here. If we're talking raw battle power then my vote goes to Xenmas... but if we're talking world-shaping potential power then I must point to Kairi. Strange choice, I know, but consider this: • She is one of the Princesses of Heart, and thus by definition has a heart of the purest nature. • She's also a Keyblade wielder, meaning that her heart is not only pure but strong. • In KH lore, the strength and purity of a heart means EVERYTHING. Thus, Kairi is the Schala of KH power-battles: she has unfathomable potential because of her role in-story, yet hasn't actually used it for combative purpose. She is a sleeping giant in terms of power. Trump THAT, guys!

Pluto is terribly underrated. :-(
(Mickey's dog, not the God xD)

She's a woman. : D
Do I die now?
Pluto the god would be Hades in Greek mythology, funnily enough.

Until I see it in game, Kairi is the normal unused plot tool female. I mean c'mon, she had the keyblade for a few shoots and looked hilarious besides AnsemRiku (who looked hilarious as well).

I think Genie and Genie Jafar would technically be the strongest, were it not for Genie having to be made fair for a summon and Jafar having to be beatable. Remember, they have phenomenal cosmic power and could pretty much do whatever they darn well pleased besides killing someone, raising the dead, and making someone fall in love with someone else. Course, they can be sucked back into their itty-bitty living space, but at least in Genie's case, he's free as a bird. Power to do virtually whatever you want whenever you want with no clear strain on oneself? I think those two win over everyone else, and then Genie over Jafar because he isn't bound to a lamp.

That is a good point. I didn't think about that.
If it wasn't for their need to be toned down -- Genie so he could be a summon, and Jafar so he could be beatable, as you said -- they'd really have no weaknesses whatsoever, would they? Hmm.

I wonder why Sora didn't just wish his friends back, in that case.

Technically Jafar can only use his powers through other people's wishes.
Genie still can't kill people, make them fall in love, or bring them back from the dead, which strikes me that he's just a regular high-level mystic. I'd figure anyone or anything with a good resistance to magic could put up a fight, and in the KH universe I don't think that'd be too hard to find. I bet Maleficent could take on Genie. Sephiroth definitely. One properly applied, insta-kill attack and Genie could do nothing.
Nascent's logic on Kairi is sound.
Riku is pretty cool, and Sora, no matter what people say, is a strong kid.
But Ansem the Xehanort Heartless has my vote.
I suppose this is why: As a heartless he retained character. He had an appearance of his former self, he spoke, he thought, he had plans and visions. He even had emotions. The heart has to have a pretty strong effect on the body for that to happen, yes? Sora had many bonds of friendship that strengthened his heart, and even still when he became a heartless he was a dinky little Shadow. Even Riku, who retained a form after being steeped in darkness, held onto someone stronger's form. Not his own.
The sheer power required to do what Xehanort did is pretty impressive.

I think Genie could probably just magic up a steel box around Sephiroth/Maleficent/whomever and just leave them to die. As I understood it, he just can't directly cause them to die such as firing a death beam or something. If he were actually an evil person, Genie could probably kill whoever he wanted. Or just send them to a different dimension and leave them there...or put them in gummi space to die...or turn a world into pudding...Genie's magic isn't technically limited to certain spells like Donald's is. And as far as I know, Genie's can't die. Sooooo...? Jafar is the same thing, except he is still bound to a lamp.
