The ice to the forehead wasn't something that Tenebra was expecting at all. Rubbing the semi melted pieces of ice from his face, Tenebra was now more concerned about where this sudden gust of wind and ice came from than his fight. Something had appeared here as well and would soon be making its entrance soon.
The girl had dropped her kopis and instead decided to use her claymore to attack. When she swung her heavy sword, Tenebra used this moment to jump up and time his landing just right to land on top of the sword and then jump off it as well. He sprung forward and pressed his left foot on top of the girls head, using it as ground to jump off once more. He flew into the air summoning his Keyblade again. With her back turned and most likely disoriented from being used as a human trampoline he had a perfect chance to strike.
He threw his Keyblade once more at her this time letting it fly towards her like a spear. The angle of the throw made it to where it would hit her upper body which would make it impossible to guard if she tried to continue her swing to deflect the Keyblade. Plus since Claymores are heavy swords, she wouldn't have been able to swing fast enough to turn around and deflect it with her weapon. Tenebra had this victory in the bag.

Maria didn't expect to get a foot to the face but it happened. Without really thinking Maria let go of her claymore which sent it flying off into some direction and she went to grab and cover face as the rest of her continued it momentum from the swing. She didn't know it but when her body continued it's twist the keyblade that was just thrown at her made a gashing slash across her back. The immense pain counter-acted the "boot to the head" as she fell forward onto her side. She started tearing up but tried to hold as she gingerly pushed herself up into a sitting position.

The Keyblade vanished once it hit the ground reappearing in Tenebras hands right as he landed. He ran over to the girl as she got up and held the Keyblade in an attack position. If she were to try anything funny he would instantly respond with a slash thus ending the fight once and for all. But since he wasn't about to kill someone for no reason at all, Tenebra decided to reason with her.
Tenebra: Are you done yet? Just give up already, we have bigger issues to deal with.
Tenebra was still concerned with that unexplainable gust of ice and wind from a few moments ago. Not to mention hearing that other strange noise from before. Something was coming and he didn't have time to be fighting with some girl.

Through teary eyes, she could see that she was, for the moment, beat. Her claymore was off somewhere else and her kopis was just in front of her but her opponent was standing in the way. The pain in her back subsided a bit so it wasn't as painful. Using her right arm she took a hold of her left sleeve and ripped it off. The sleeve was just long enough for her to get it around her waist to dress the wound on her back.. She had her head down working on this and stayed silences for a time. Just waiting for the right moment.

Yet again, that howling winds swept over the endless abyss surrounding the building where the two warriors fought each other without a second thought. Time stood still as that breeze passed by, nothing being able to delay the inevitable. A second wind rushed by, accompanied by hundreds of frozen shards of ice. Clouds formed from what seemed to be nothing, circling above and creating a thunderous roar. A drop of rain, followed by another and then another until a pounding rain was created.
The air chilled quickly, a light frost forming around the fighters. Their breaths would now be easily seen, even through the storm. The rain was freezing, creating some variation of goosebumps on the bodies of these ruthless warriors. The chilling winds and freezing crystals were nothing to scoff at, either. The ground would be slippery now and the freezing temperatures would numb the body of those participating in this fight. 'Hope the fighters brought shoes with good traction.
[OOC: Alright, fighters! Your first challenging obstacle arrives! Numbing cold, followed by rain and a frozen, slippery battlefield? You better be tactiful with this. Don't think of this field as an obstacle, but more like an advantage. Think outside of the box with this one. I'm sure you can find a way to win.]

It would seem that her moment had come. Grabbing her opponent's leg she pulled him down letting her use him a "platform" to launch herself towards her kopis as she slided towards it.
