Just as the title says. I got a character that might do with a change in special class. Having a summon was nifty at first, but the way he's progressing might make his Summoner class a hinderance. So I'm looking for a way to change him, possibly to a Tech or a regular Joe, without it seeming like I cheated the system in order to get a free summon. So, is there something in place for hasty shmucks like me, or am I touching on new ground here?

Sora changed classes... however, what the exact procedure (do you get to keep what you've already spent on the character for example) is to convert the character class is beyond my ken. I assume that upon conversion, you convert what you've already purchased into munny and then reapply the upgrades with that munny. So if you'd get a free summon, the summon disappears but if you purchased an equip for that summon, you get your munny back. Or something. I honestly don't know. All I know is that it can be done. Wait around for someone higher up on the totem pole.

You wouldn't keep the free summon unless you buy it.

I'd imagine it'd be very much like deleting your current character and making the exact same one but fitting a different class.

In simplest terms, you pretty much strip the base character of all the adjustments a special class allows, and then make any changes you need to.
It's pretty easy. Before you make your new profile you take care of this.
(As a general rule this is how I think of it.
1. Any free stuff (abilities points, summons, minions, etc.) you did not pay for you either pay for or delete.* 2. Any stuff you got at a discount you go back and pay full price for or delete.* 3. Any stuff you had to pay extra for, you request the difference back, or delete it and ask for reimbursement in full.* 4. By now you should have a clean slate to work with. 5. Make all the relevant changes to your profile, and post it in the Save Point. The staff can read over this and judge it as a normal profile. a. If you want to be an overachiever, in addition to this, you can point out all of the changes you made to the original.
*Make sure to read the relevant class guides so you have an idea of where you're going and what it'll take to get you there.
