Anyone ever considered making a single character with multiple people? Sharing a single character, as it were. That way, you can collectively buff said character to oppose the likes of Hercules and Mickey.
There's probably roleplay value in sharing it that I, as a selfish, vindictive person, cannot see.
Also. Who here thinks we should update the ability rules enforced by Tempest? We say teleportation abilities are disallowed and yet...Well, there are probably other issues, too.

Do you mean like 2 characters taking up one character slot? Cause I've done that before. I do you mean like two people sharing a character. I don't think that'd be very much allowed. I mean, people could donate money to one person as they build the character to buff him up, but that's about as far as it can go. That's what I'd think anyway.
Disallowed? Is that a word? *goes to dictionary.com*
Okay, so it is, but I always thought that teleportation wasn't allowed. Did something change while I was gone? If so, I agree with disallowing teleportation. It's a cheap ability that makes battles unfair.

Merlin has a teleporting ability. He can't attack the turn he uses it, but he does have one. And it was approved. I think that the rule was changed so that teleporting but not being able to attack the turn you do so. But it seems like the rule itself may not have been...
Oh well.

Do you mean like a Nanako&Shizore sort of deal? Or do you mean multiple people being invested and playing with one singular character?

The latter.

Merlin has a teleporting ability. Which technically the staff should retroactively take away from him. XD hence Akito's point about the rules, I think.

Yes but that isn't actually a reason. Teleporting period is not allowed outside of the Warp Equip according to the rules as they are. Warp itself has more restrictions than your Poof and costs more than 2 strong abilities.
Thus it is still TECHNICALLY illegal. But that doesn't mean we're going to do anything abotu it, that's up to the staff.

Personally, I think the one transformation-per-ability rule has issues. Now, granted, if you could transform into a million bajillion different godlike creatures that'd break the game-
But a strong ability to do what Madam Mim and Merlin did in the Arthur movie? I think it's mostly fair - if you disable all abilities/equips/weapon abilities while that sort of thing is ongoing and for the post proceeding that transformation ability... I'm of the opinion it'd be difficult to truly abuse.
Granted: no turning into bacteria/fungus/archaea, no turning into super-poisonous-deadly-amazonian-treefrog, no controlling/understanding animals just because you happen to be their shape unless it's canon that the animals on that world are sentient, etc. silliness.
Now what you *could* do is take advantage of your shape to fly/swim/breathe under water/turn really, really small, or moderately larger, traverse specific terrain more easily, blend in with a pack of sheep/goats/cows/pigs/chickens, hide from pursuers, stalk your prey from behind a different face, etc. As long as its mostly cosmetic and its battle applications require ingenuity I think it'd be pretty neat.
My five cents.

Well in that case, what you described is something, I think, you've taken part in before. It's as simple as investing some munny into another's character to get the abilities that they want. Now if you want to share them...I don't think that's a very good idea. Things could happen to the character that one player wouldn't agree on. I say that this would only be good if- I just had an idea. If you're interested, PM me, man.
