Dragoons have always lived for war, and though his Heart is gone, in many ways, the Nobody that was left behind lives for it as well. Consort to Beauty and accompanied by Fear and Terror, War has always been the omnipresent proof of the Heart’s capacity for evil and absurdity. None worship War more than the strong and the mad… but to truly take War into one’s heart, one must be both.

An incredible close-combat expert, to go toe-to-toe with Xaldin is to fight the fury of storms and hurricanes. Blisteringly quick, Xaldin is in fact a master of speed and not strength, capable of firing off an absurd number of attacks all while dodging, swerving and being a general nuisance. Though his base speed is already terrifyingly efficient, Xaldin may alternatively string together an incredible 9-hit combo. Because of the energy these consecutive attacks consume, Xaldin will only engage in such high-intensity close combat at most once every three posts.

Result: 3xAttack Speed (constant) or 9xAttack Speed w/ 2 post cooldown

If he continues to fight in close quarters despite this restriction he will take moderate stamina damage for the following two posts and then strong stamina damage for all posts subsequent to those. During the cooldown phase, Xaldin is restricted to 1x combat speed.
