You know my stance on this. I encourage whatever it takes to get this underway. People interested ought to help get this through as well.

Ah well I'd love a trial-run at least, to show what we're talking about. Brezzen has the right idea but I also think it's interesting what Arcobaleno said too. It'd be kinda neat if this Special Canon class could play untaken canons/minor people as necessary to help in a situation. I know the GM's/QM's can do this but it's for Quests and then they're done. If that group was working to do that for regular RP that'd be different. Suddenly it would feel like KH and people would feel more welcomed, encouraged even. It's not about elitist as it is about serving the people. You're canon to help, to encourage good OC charries and OC plot. A plot that feels like Kingdom Hearts and not a forum multiverse as Akito said.

Anyone can control an NPC. But, playing untaken canons? I'd be happy with that, though you'll need milady High's go ahead.

Then we wait for General High's orders, meanwhile I'll be typing up a small guideline for this proposal. Just something to help people understand our purpose and for those who want to help, I'll be PMing it to you with some specifics/campaign ideas. I'll post a more general one in this topic as well.

I'm a bit late, but I'm loving these ideas.
In a nutshell, you are proposing a group that will rp untaken canons to help threads along, correct? If that is the case, I would love to join.

That is indeed what I believe is what this group is. FMSA will send a pm to those who wish to help sometime today (and post here with something similar) for those who haven't decided and the like.

-nod- Highwind and I will keep a sharp watch on your activities. If we like what we see, no, if the forum likes what you do...Things will happen.
Btw, Canon Realizers is your name. I coined it. It's cool.

User group: Canon Realizers (SILVER coloured or Green, hmm Green is sexy). User group Permissions: Mass PM, Private Board. NPC Untaken Canons in a world. Enter Closed quests/threads* User group Goals: To assist members of Final Mix in their roleplay by providing a canon experience. Members of this user group will consistently go around to the world's and introduce canon characters into Member Created Plots, Open Threads, and Quests as Necessary. This also includes helping with Official Plots.
*For this feature to work there needs to be some leeway on what they can/can't enter. Ever seen a closed thread with someone where there actions/decisions could really impact a world? A Canon Realizer should be able to enter such a closed thread within reason. Should the QM or Members decline it, fair enough but it adds a dynamic feel as they show up. In the case of Quests, a Canon Realizer is almost like a summon. They'll come in to assist a player depending on the circumstances or start the Quest with the players from the get go. This encourages activity and should boost confidence in members joining Quests.
Requirements: Player must have a Canon. An additional Audition should be done where a staff picks a random canon and situation for the player to perform. If they perform successfully, then they can take on the rank.
Notes: Canon Realizers should clearly make visible which canon they have in their roster. Preferably via Sig and of course someone needs to keep a better Canon List updated so people can see who's doing what and who's Temping a canon publicly and then in the private board. In said private boards it would more be discussions about plots and making sure that events that occur become apart of FM's canon. Lastly, this has to be one of those positions where you can't be in another class, in this case you can't be a QM and CR. Why? CR's knowing a QM's plot loses any sense of dynamic role play and it's really unfair. Likewise QM's seeing the strategies a CR might be using around the forum is a bit cheap also.
Lastly I'm not sure if they need to be able to open/close a thread. I doubt it well no, I suppose if an RP gets out of hand and a GM or Admin isn't there, they'd be useful but then that would mean the requirements would rise further. At this point it's just a thought and I really wouldn't push it.
Update: In response to Prythian's comments via MSN concerning untaken canon's abilities, I've thought of a solution. I propose that FM register official canon accounts for all canon characters. Ever seen a canon change hands and as a result it's hard to backtrack their posts? If a player always used the canons account (but could change up the avatar/sigs within reason to add a small bit of style) this would allow uniformity and the ability to properly backtrack posts and plots. Oh and then when we can give them a colour to standout. Which to lead to Pryth's concerns, we would then keep track of their abilities wether it's on the private board or in public profiles that people can read up (with a history that's based on official + FM canon). Doesn't need to be styled the same way, more so a run-down of abilities and the history/plot thus far. Now I have to make an exception here, guys like White Rabbit REALLY don't need a profile. So can we say this is limited to Canons who can battle? And then we could just use our main accounts for the lesser guys?

I should probably be taken off that list FMSA since I am technically a questmaster. I'd still like to help however I can, but with that being a rule or whatever (should this be implemented with the rest of what you posted), I can't be a member of that class. At least from what I read.

Yeah it'd be a huge conflict of interest since one side is pro-player and the other is experience and death potential and all. Of course that doesn't mean you wouldn't be able to work with a CR even building plots with them in mind, we'd be able to help =D

Ah, Night Sky good to see you're interested in joining the cause. We're just in the process of getting shop setup. For now, check out The Twilan Invasion threads as we'll be working on those to get yourself prepared. I'll notify our Overlords that you wish to help the crew.
