I've been wanting to get a Canon Plot underway and I would like it to be strictly, if not majorly, Canons ONLY. A plot involving Marluxia, of course, of coruse.
So, to encourage that, what do you guys say to giving canons 1000 Munny to play around with when they start for a limited time? To encourage people to get canons? Do you think that would work?

But what if people drop out half way? Surely they wouldn't be able to keep that 1000?

What if the munny was awarded in installments? Say, we get to so and so of the plot, and there's a munny award, and it continues on that way.

Brezz-N speaks some truth. A perfect solution to that dilema, I'd also like to chime in with a suggestion I spoke to Akito via MSN. There should be a Canon User class. Basically a group of very helpful and good members who consistently enter threads made by members and appear as a canon. This will really help to bring the feel of Kingdom Hearts to new commers and even veterans alike. They'd need some special perks though, such as the ability to come in on closed threads within reason (and they can be dismissed if the person really doesn't want them to be there, but that's more extreme). Same for Quests as well. So for example, say someone's doing bad in a quest, suddenly a Canon Player appears to help. It's not guaranteed success but it's better than nothing.
Just some thoughts on the matter but it'd certainly help.

Maybe you should ask us master of canons (Bilby and myself of course)! We've both had many a canon on FM (I've had around 12, and Bilby isn't too far away from that number). Both are good ideas, but I have one thing I wish to clarify.
So this 1000 Munny or whatever. It would go to canon characters to use for equips and abilities and such or what?
As for making a whole new group who enter rps as canons, I'm not so sure that's a good idea. Unless we limit the canons they can use (such as saying a taken canon can't be used), I see potential for this to be a bad idea. Well, it kind of is anyway. After all, what's the point of having canon auditions if there are those who can just play a canon whenever they join an rp?

I don't think that's what White Knight was saying. I think he was suggesting that we boost Canons from what they are now, into a Member Class, (Like quest mods), that is dedicated to creating a sense of realism, and bringing characters who are usually stuck in original creations, into the limelight of the KH canon.

Eh. I dunno...Why not just make extra accounts per canon, like what Bilby did, which I think is a lot more legitimate looking. I dun think Canon players need special stars...>_>

Haha, I'm not sure I totally understand his concept fully either, but if it were me, I'd let them do the canon audition, and then they'd be a regular canon. Then to join this member group, they'd have to do a second audition under a different certain set of circumstances.

I dunno though...makes canons so elite-like. :\ And really, they're not that special. You're just playing custom made characters. I'm still iffy on the special class group.
But I do approve of your idea of spreading out the munny into like...rewards and stuffs. And I think this is going to be pretty awesome. =D

That's what I thought so too. But I'm reconsidering. I mean, if canons were as dedicated as FSA (I hate how long your name is), they would really provide a feel for 'This is a KH forum'. Not 'this is some random multiverse forum'. You know what I mean?
As it is the Quest Masters duty to do quests, the Canon 'Realizers' would make the KH experience that much more...KH. I think it deserves a trial run at least.

Hate to double post, but edit isn't working for some particular reason.
If not a trial run, FSA, what do you say to trying to define the group yourself? If you manage to get together some people who are willing to do that, alongside yourself, and do exactly as you suggested; then, your claim to wanting a Canon Holder's guild will be that much stronger.
