This summer I was hog tied into a position as costume director (or rather, I volunteered enthusiastically a year before hand XD) for a student-run play. My super ambitious goody-goody freak (like, straight A's, community service, or possible hernia) best friend read No Exit in her english class. And - equally freakishly obsessed with musicals/plays, was determined to put it on herself. Sans any adults. Because adults "don't look good on college transcripts". And are also- annoying anyway. Clearly they lack the necessary maturity. Adults just can't do professional.
So I was partly compelled by honorary BFF duties to take on the "burden", but mostly by Roberto. (Roberto is my sewing machine. We are passionately in love.)

For only three costumes (four if you count the rented tux for the valet, not shown) it doesn't seem like it would be that much work. But it was a surprisingly large economy of effort, because I had no assistants, and because actors are a bunch of pre-madonnas who rip things all the time. XD
