I'm doing my audition for Xemnas and I suddenly realize we have no setting. I mean, a basic timeline would be nice to know where we are right now, y'know? I think on past FMs it's always been six months after the events of KH2, but I'm not sure. Just wondering if someone could clear it up.

As I understand it, that'd be a no. FSA-- the Sora canon holder-- had him asleep for some time. He's still a scamp and a SCOURGE TO THE ORGANIZATION AND RAWR RAWR RA---

Well in that case, we kinda need a set setting. Just like "6 months later" kinda thing. Otherwise, if I ever get Sora, I'm getting him wasted.

It's an invalid point, however. The setting has been stated to the 6 months post-KH2, and move on from there, and anything that moved TOO far into the future would be ridiculous, honestly. Most people on here trust each other not to go ridiculous.

It hasn't changed from the last version, so far as I can tell, and most people remember it as 6 months prior. That's why I said that.
-_- I have read what's being said, but you're overreacting to a ridiculous degree. We don't need anything more specific than what has already been given to us in this case.

I don't know if this helps, but I've never considered the time thing even vaguely important. xD
I've made all my characters without a thought put into what time in the KH universe they are to appear on the scene, since no one else seems to be putting "after the events of Sora's bout in Castle Oblivion, my character went off and saved the town..." or anything to keep consistent timelines.
Honestly I don't see the point in introducing a super-solid timeline, since, as Prythian said, I trust people to RP reasonably. It's not like everyone's doing the same thing all the time anyway.

I know I'm new and all, but hey, the sooner I got involved with the forum the better right? (Plus since my computer is out of Comish, I'm forced to use a Wii, and thus can't work on a profile for the time being so..... >.> )
Anyways I always thought it was safe to guess are time line was very close to the ending of KH II, the Six Months things seems like a bit of a long strech, a lot can happen in that span of time, incudling important facts for later games.
Though I DO think a more lucid timeline should be considered, since that can hold the plot tighter together. Openended-ness should always be present, but at the same time a tight plot equals truly epic RPing. I hope one newbs insight is helpful in some way xD
