Physical appearance ~ : Brayley is a skinny young man, skinny to the point of emaciation. Some speculate that his lack of nutrition can be attributed to an eating disorder, but in fact it is simply that Brayley has a problem with forgetting to eat. His eyes are yellow, the same color as his hair, but both experience strange formations due to overexposure to magic. His eyes and hair both emit a soft light, and pale red and blue streaks flow through them as water. He is of average height, if not slightly too short for his age, and although he once could have been attractive if he’d maintained proper physical health, he know has wild hair, and black pitted eyes.
Clothing/Accessories ~ : His clothing is of his own make, though obviously he’s used magical means to put it together. All of his clothes are much too large for him, and are cinched tightly to his skin in spots, such as his shoulders, and his waists. His sleeves are far too wide for his scrawny arms. His collars are large, and frame his head.
His entire body is covered in magical runes from his collarbone down to his wrists and ankles. Strangely for Brayley’s unique personality, there are a few runes that actually have clear purposes, such as one on each fingertip, and one on his neck.

Alignment ~ : True Neutral
Behavior ~ : Brayley is, in a few words, a very focused individual. He has devoted his life to the pursuit of his science, mindlessly. His only desire is to ceaselessly become better, and push the boundaries of runic magic, and he devotes endless hours of research and experimentation to this subject. Without the assistance of colleagues and major literary works, Brayley has advanced the dead art of Runic magic thousands of years farther than it could have ever gone without him.
Unfortunately, he is also an avid recluse and doesn’t do well under the pressures of society. When given a deadline, he cannot help but break down under the pressure, and when someone expects something of him; he usually just evades and excuses his way out of it. Yet his talent is unequaled, and he is doubtlessly the greatest practitioner of one of the most versatile magic forms in creation.

Primary Weapon(s)
ID: RuneWriter
Quality: Average
Rune Writer is a series of ten runes, one on each fingertip, which allow Brayley to write a rune on any surface, despite the qualities of that surface and it’s potential for being written on. That is all this weapon allows. Writing on any surface. Even air.
Secondary Weapon(s)
ID: RuneSpeak
A pair of runes located on Brayley’s tongue. One allows him to shoot a beam of concentrated darkness at any enemy before him, while the other amplifies any written rune, as long as he says a coordinating word phrase alongside the casting of the rune.

[RuneScript]
As the world’s genius of writing runes, Brayley can adapt to essentially any situation with the use of casting runic spells. Runes are a very complicated art that very few ever master in one school, let alone all schools. And yet Brayley has done just that, becoming the equivalent to an expert in every field of science. His knowledge is boundless, and the runes he uses are almost always complicated and fearsome. There are no limits to what can be done with a rune, when you have transcended to Brayley’s level. He can use a rune of about five feet in diameter once every turn, and anything that alls under that ratio.
Strength: Strength
Uses: Passive enhancement to magic ability.
[RuneAmplifier]
By tapping a rune that has been tattooed into his skin, Brayley can amplify the strength of his runes up to a hundred times. However, activating this rune counts as entire turn’s action. Thus touching his neck is all he can do for an entire turn, which means for a turn he’s essentially incapacitated and cannot defend himself in any way. As an added drawback, all runes require a two-turn charge rate.
Strength: Moderate
Uses: Once per battle, one turn charge, affects one rune.

Brayley was born a long time ago in a world that was surrounded covered in prosperity. Although not the most technologically advanced nation, it was one of much wealth, and although it was a greedy people there was a wealth of peace, and happiness. One of the things that assisted this was the power of Runic magic. Runes, which had been discovered long, long ago, were widely misunderstood, and although there were scattered theories about their workings, not even the greatest rune writers could understand them to their core.
So the world was covered in a beauty of wealth and gorgeous sceneries allowed by the wonder of runes. Until Brayley King Paradise was born. He was the son of a runic magician who dealt mainly in the crafting of luxurious armchairs. He was known far and wide for his very particular control of his magic, and could create a chair to any specified dimensions, allowing for a perfectly tailored chair in moments, as long as someone had something in mind. His wife was a schoolteacher. So when he was born, his parents had many different expectations of what their son would grow up to be.
And yet at first he managed to not fulfill a single one of them. He seemed to be a very average child, if not slightly more intelligent than others. But as the years passed his abilities began to accelerate at an extremely rapid pace. By the third grade he was operating at double his grade level. And within two years of that he was testing at university standards.
People’s expectations arose, and people at all times, requesting his help surrounded him. Over night he became famous, and people came from far and wide to see the miracle prodigy. Expectations rose and rose, and people wanted to see one display of his magnificent ability after another. But Brayley was quickly becoming stressed with this lifestyle. People kept coming to him, and he kept proving himself. Yet no one was satisfied.
And finally it came. The current emperor’s envoys came to his home, and they told him that he being tested for the nation. And that he had to build a castle. So for three years, he was preparing plans for a massive castle, a feat that had not been attempted by anyone. And at the age of twenty-one he began assembling the massive series of runes on a plot of land he’d been give, shipping in raw materials. And the day of his twenty-second birthday, millions of citizens from all around the world were in attendance to see the creation of Castle Paradise.
Brayley, however had snapped. Under the pressure of everyone’s expectations he had gone insane, and began doing things that to many others seemed absurd notions in the world of runic magic. And on this legendary day he presented a speech. He told the world, that the age of magic was over, that the age of people was over. He told the world that ha had discovered the heart of all things, and that he had a mission that ascended above people. That he had declared himself the protector of the heart of all things. Brayley then commenced to create his castle, and the very earth itself began to rumble and shake.
The castle glowed, but it did not appear straight away as many expected. Instead his ruins had changed the nature of the world, and pillars of steel started surging upward from the ground, as earthquakes rocked the ground. People were attacked by massive cords and wires that pulled them into machines all over the world. Brayley had done something unimaginable. He had started the apocalypse. Soon, all people were destroyed, turned into masses of gears and cogs that moved of their own accord, their minds stolen and bodies destroyed. The entire world had gone from a prosperous beautiful nation, to one that was covered in towering steel and electricity. And then Castle Paradise stood.
He had become the warden of his homeworld, protecting it’s heart from invaders by making the heart impossible to find underneath all of the chaos, and inside his castle he spent countless hours without distraction working on his study.
